I see Joe Nuttall has signed for Morecambe, wonder if the fans will remember when he was here and gave our fans as much as they gave him a few years back?
Good player, hopefully not as good now.

Listened to both interviews by their manager, whilst very briefly recognising our performance he’s delusional with regards to his team’s lack of performance.
He’ll be looking for another job before Christmas.

Another good interview with Butler. Love to hear it. Sounds like we need to get this emergency loan keeper sorted for Tuesday. Who might it be?

Amateur hour. This is what happens when you try to do things on the cheap and sack your ground staff. Only going to get worse as the temperatures drop towards winter.

No, the ground staff were not sacked, I’ve no idea where you picked up that bollox from!
At the end of last season, one retired and the other retired due to I’ll health.
North Lincs council are responsible for the pitch now.

‘tie Ewing up on a long term deal- superb player for the level.’
Literally purring when he’s on the ball. A delight to watch

Said this a couple of weeks ago, well worth repeating hoping that somebody that counts reads it and acts. Come on AB and/or BoD.

“With 62% of the vote, Oli Ewing has been voted as your player of the month for August!”

Come on!! How much more do you need to see? Extended contract PLEASE!

He won’t sign one, he’ll be gone in January.

Perhaps taking a bigger interest than I should, I looked at Wealdstone fans forum.
Not only are their supporters claiming a penalty they are also claiming that Will Evans stamped on their injured player whilst he was on the floor.
Also claiming a handball leading up to Alfie’s goal.
Incredible eyesight from the other end of the stadium by their supporters, even better than the referee who was yards away.
If Andy Butlers account of events in his interview are true and I have absolutely no doubt they are then we will be awarded the three points without the need for a replay and Wealdstone should not only receive a large fine and point’s deduction, hopefully enough to send them to the bottom of the league.
Tinpot club with a clown for a manager.

When Bru was on the old site a number of years ago, there was someone, I can’t remember who who kept banging on about getting Hill as manager (a long time before we actually did) and look how that turned out. I’ve looked on the old site to try to find their posts but they must have been archived.

    Burney.

Jerry isn’t and never was “ticket office manager”, he’s a volunteer, he hasn’t been sacked!

From what we’ve seen I don’t think this board of directors wants much involvement with The Iron Trust and would rather keep them at arms length.

2 of them don’t, both of whom who have ego’s bigger than their bank balances!

As a long time exec season ticket holder and a supporter of the club in more ways than just attending games, I haven’t and won’t be renewing my season ticket or supporting the club in any way whilst 2 of the current owners are current owners.

If i worked for the club i would be having a word with my staff regarding the leaking of information and also having a word with Mr Bru. There is no wonder the iron hour guys get more attention from the club than the iron-bru guys.

Has it not occurred to you that maybe, just maybe someone at the club passed information to SST, to post on social media?
Maybe that doesn’t suit your narrative though!

Brigg and Winterton to be announced soon no doubt, that’s if Brigg’s new plastic pitch is ready.

Good call sufc i forgot about them two and Barton as well.

Brigg now being my team as I’ve moved into the area.
I said a couple of months ago I wouldn’t renew my season ticket at SUFC and I won’t.
My only problem with becoming a season ticket holder at Brigg is the colours they play in.

There isn’t half some shite posted on this thread especially by 64.
The beer supplier hasn’t changed since last close season, the very same supplier “Carlsburg Tetley” has supplied the beer when the club were running the bars as they were when Danny Stamp was running them for part of last season and as they have been for Henry’s.
As for tasting “watered down” as 64 claims, that’s impossible as the kegs are sealed at the brewery and nobody other than the brewery possess the equipment to open them.
Carlsburg tetley tech services do the line cleaning as it’s on a contract so the lines are kept clean.
So, the beer tastes the same as it has done for the last 12 months.
Prior to Carlsburg Tetley having the contract to supply and instal the dispensing equipment it was “Molson Coors” who’s dispensing equipment was past its sell by date hence the problems with the Iron Bar the season before last.
Hope that clears it up for you 64, perhaps try cleaning your teeth before you try the beer next season.

“York City owner writes open letter to EFL … cant disagree with it”

Unless you’re a Southend supporter of course.

York city have a short memory, National league North 2021/2022, York were promoted to the National league in the play offs despite finishing in 5th place 21 points behind Brackley who finished 2nd.
Best this York city owner keeps her mouth firmly shut!

I’ve watched the video of Truss and the thug, I’ve no idea where it was filmed but it certainly wasn’t filmed at the Attis arena, there is no room in the building that’s decorated like the room those two are filmed in.

The sadness for me is I work in the event industry,in the last year or so our company helped to plan the Champions league fan zones(very complicated ) ,Englands Vicotry parade,(never happened ,the International investment summit in London, and most recently Tottenham’s victory parade .Our company helps to plan ,Victorious festival and and BST Hyde park concerts among many .Whilst we do the traffic side we work with some of the biggest companies in the game and most talented planners ,many of whom are self employed. When they announced this I offered to give them some contacts at the Trust AGM, I was rebuffed politely. Knowing the many facets of planning such events I have witnessed in various meeting over the years to get an event over the line I though the idea of an internet influencer organising it stupid. I still do

You put traffic cones out you bullshitter.

Let’s be honest, Rob Waltham is pretty good at self promotion as well, always ready for the photo opportunity.
Local politics is full of ego’s, and now we have another layer.
    Here endeth the rant.

It certainly seems to go with the territory. But as much as I dislike his political ilk, you don’t really see Waltham making social media announcements that are smartly-worded but transparent attempts to solicit personal kudos for what have been committee decisions.

The decision wasn’t the councils, it was a decision made by the highways agency after a request from Humberside police.
Bellend should make the most of his self professed fame, it’s temporary until the next council elections.
