    Now we know it’s serious.
Even the happy clappers on the faceache forum have started to turn on him.
Somebody remind me, since he’s been here, how many games has he been in charge of and how many wins can he claim?

    Here ya go Cassidy.

    David White
Hold the new owner to account for what exactly????!
    Putting in his money?
    Giving up all his time???
    Sacrificing his other business?
    Sacrificing his family??
I’ve said it time and time again and if you need me to keep pointing it out that your former owner is a liar then there is something wrong.
You have all asked for me to interact but when I do I shouldn’t be doing it directly on social media.
I shouldn’t be responding to absolute lies from a man that was two weeks away from killing your club and seemingly quite excited to do so. A man that took away your stadium that the club had owned since it was built in order to satisfy debts at Coolsilk that he had amassed due to mismanagement at the club. Whilst at the time issuing a press release to you all that the club had a 99 year lease and it was protected.
He has now threatened to take legal action against the league because I have managed even with his games to keep the club playing football, he’s suing me and the club and a bookmaker and god only knows who else because everything is always somebody else’s fault.
He has waited to take his action regarding the stadium and still does until such time he feels it will have the biggest impact on the club, right before matches. He puts out a statement on the eve of our first game calling out fans and players insinuating they’ve been duped trying to cause unrest. None of it will work.
I will be speaking to Matt at Iron bru today, i have recently given Aidan McCartney some considerable time and i am prepared to give you at the trust the same, its the one thing i do agree with, unity will inspire success.
Please note that in his statement he referred to numerous interested parties being ignored due to proof of fund issues. Showing that there was a clear process in place looking at such matters. My offer was accepted after providing proof of funds and I have spent far in excess he said I would have to since the takeover.
I have attached below the evidence I offered proof of funds to his lawyer on April 24th at the point he tried to use this as an excuse. It’s quite common in land transactions to pass this evidence on to legal representation or agents. Mr Swann insisted my personal information ended up on his own desk which is never going to happen. If he has lawyers and agents he doesn’t trust despite being far better qualified than him to judge anything then that is his problem. In 20 years and 100 land transactions I’ve never asked my lawyers to forward personal documentation provided by a purchaser.
I’ve also attached the offer made AGAIN last week which is everything he wanted and more. Just to evidence to you all he has no intention of selling the stadium to us he only wants your club to die. We await a response, but given the fact it’s a straightforward offer for the full amount and not the discounted amounts he offered in desperation to swerve the legal work, we had expected a straightforward acceptance.
But please do not issue posts comparing me or my actions to his, and do not insinuate that i owe anybody anything. To date, i have already done far more than anybody else was prepared to in order to keep your club alive.
Please show me more respect than that.
Im pretty certain ive earned it.

I’m no businessman but from what Kieran Maguire who’s an expert in football finance we should be extremely concerned.
The accounts show that Swann was pumping in £2 million a year of his own money to keep the club going until he pulled the plug.
Seeing has Hilton obviously doesn’t have access to that amount of his own finance, if he had he wouldn’t be intimating he will finance it through loans surely, or perhaps that’s the way businessman operate now.

I only see one outcome, unfortunately it’s the one none of us want.

Hilton appears to have singled out the owner of this forum, this is unacceptable.
For a man claiming to be wealthy and claiming to be seen as the saviour of a football club he’s going the wrong way about it.
Ranting and name calling on social media, not distancing themselves from burner accounts making death threats on social media is not the way a businessman should behave.
The death threats should be investigated by the authorities, I would be surprised if that’s not already being looked in to.

As I stated in my post the Trust should stay well clear of the boardroom, so the answer is nobody.
I don’t believe supporters should be in the boardroom of a football club, in recent years we’ve had two, both were a disaster and in my opinion for what it’s worth they had to work alongside an egomaniac so they were on a loser from the day they appeared on companies house.
Neither of the two should be allowed anywhere near the boardroom again, even though the Happy Clappers would seemingly want one of them to.

We should be looking at getting Tony as the fan representative on the board, obviously if he’d want to and being allowed to being a councilor.

    Absolutely not!
You must have a short memory, have you forgotten the last clown that was given a position as a “fan elected director”?
Never elected and never represented the fans, strutted around Glanford Park as if he owned the place and went missing when the fans needed him as their voice.
The trust should stay away from the boardroom.

Absolute bollocks, Hilton was and is more than happy to pay the original asking price for GP it is Swann that moved the goalposts and begged for an installment before the legals were complete, would you pay for a house before you had a survey done? His preferred option is still to purchase GP and redevelop but if Swann wants to leave it to become derelict and overgrown then that’s his choice. Hilton cannot simply walk away either, he is already £2 million in!

Every word you have printed in that post that I have quoted is the exact opposite to what David Hilton said publicly at the fans forum.
I was at that forum and I sat on the front row less than 10 feet away from him, there’s absolutely nothing wrong with my memory and the notes I was taking at the time.
Perhaps you would like to reassess your post.

This forum itself is not toxic, unfortunately there are at least 2 posters on here that wish to make it toxic though.
One of them even felt the need to take his views to another social media platform and attempt a hatchet job on not only this sites owners but the members and moderators to.
When his plan spectacularly backfired he attempted to come back claiming he was misunderstood.
Nobody on this site as far as I’m aware have any good words for Peter Swann and his family, Peter Swann and he alone is the reason our club are in the position we are in now.
Because of Swann’s mismanagement the majority on this forum are sceptical of the new owner and have every right to be.
The old saying has never been more apt.
“Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me”.

I have not witnessed once any aggression from any members on this site, Twitter or Facebook directed towards any member who publicly backs David Hilton.
The opposite however is true for anybody who dares to question David Hilton/ Whites tenure so far at the club, hardly surprising really as aggression appears to be the way that Hilton/ White addresses anybody who questions him on social media.
We all want what’s best for our club, I sincerely hope that David Hilton/White is the saviour that we all crave but we as supporters should be sceptical especially after witnessing what an egomaniac like Peter Swann managed to do to our once proud club.

Firstly,AFAIK a player doesn’t have to be registered to play in a friendly.
I wasn’t aware of the quote from Dean but the word “Hope” maybe suggests that the rumours may have substance.
    We’ll find out this afternoon.

At 3 o’clock today the rumours currently circulating will be proved to be correct or incorrect.
I hope they’re just rumours with no substance but in recent months many of these rumours are eventually confirmed as true.

The solidarity with IronBru speaking the truth, could some of the top men explain if this problem with “ the unregistered strip of land” is true or false.Thanks.

I can’t answer your question “is it true or false” but, it wasn’t an issue when Wharton sold the land to Swann, it’s never been an issue in all the time Swann has owned the club but it has become an issue when Hilton was due to pay for the land.
His reason at the fans forum was “ if one of the players trips up and injured himself whilst crossing this land then our insurers will not pay out”.
I thought then it was just an excuse as he hadn’t the funds to complete a deal he had agreed to, after the events yesterday I still think the same.

Couldn’t have put it better myself.
I’m no lover of Swann and despise him for what he has done to what was once described as “the best run small club in the country” but Hilton is on a whole new level.
He’s completely lacking in class, he showed it at the fans forum where he spent most of the evening bad mouthing Swann who wasn’t there to defend the accusations, wether any of them were true is debatable as we only heard one side of the story.
But to use a social media platform to describe the supporters who dare to question him as “Vermin” is beyond contempt.
    My opinion.
He has now found the perfect opportunity I suspect he was looking for to disappear into the sunset before once again changing his name.
I do hope all he takes with him is what belongs to him.

I’ve reread his rant, it is a rant.
He’s only answered one question, that concerning the accounts being filed, to my knowledge this is the 4th time he’s given a firm date for them being submitted and every time they failed to be filed.
Therefore I reserve my right to be sceptical until I see them on companies house.
As for the rest of it, he whines about members of this forum bad mouthing him whilst he bad mouths the members of this forum.
    Very hypocritical Dave!
If he includes me as one of the members of the forum that he dislikes with a passion, I don’t have a problem with that, the same as he shouldn’t have a problem with me.
Time to put your big boy pants on Dave and grow up, you’re coming across as a spoilt brat who’s mummy has taken his sweets away.

It pleases me greatly that myself and others on this forum are living rent free in your head.

This thread will not end well.
The Happy Clappers will be along soon to tell us we are not true fans if we dare to question what Hilton is doing, they’ll then tell us to clear off up the M180 and support the cod’s.
That is exactly what I saw yesterday on Twitter.
I still think this is going to end badly for the club, the difference between what’s being promised and what’s being delivered makes no sense.

David Twonames is working through them, how hard can it be to issue a refund? It takes seconds

He has been working through them for the past 2 weeks yet an investor that was promised a refund is posting on a social media platform this morning stating he has heard nothing and still out of pocket.

TBF your OP could hardly be described as constructive could it?

Constructive is exactly what it was.
It was there to make the intelligent among us think, which is exactly what everyone on here did with the exception of Prat O’ Cake and obviously yourself.
I was unaware that the forum rules forbid posting cryptic posts.
