You’d imagine that their U21 players will be trying – trying to impress to get in their first team?

Red card – I’ve read that disciplinary sanctions apply to the NL games if one is picked up in the MMC?
    That’d be a bummer!

Total respect. The victory took him to 22-1 after that fight.
He can probably still dine out on the fact that he beat Tyson.

IMH(umble)O both results should stand as they are.

Wealdstone should be fined and deducted 3 points.

    Reset, move on.

How much longer have we to wait for the Eastleigh situation and can someone confirm who makes the decisions ?

We could always resurrect the Magic Robot thread and ask it?

    Dislocated shoulder? Pff!

Tour de France 2025, Stage 15
    Muret to Carcassonne

    Distance = 170km
    Type = Hilly
    Vertical Gain (climbing) 2400 m

Julian Alaphilippe was involved in a crash involving numerous riders in the peloton at just 17km in to the days race.

So, only 153km (95 miles) to go!

    .
Lad pops his own shoulder back in, remounts, completes the next 153km, which included a vertical gain of +2.4km on the hills, then sprints down the homestretch to take third place!

    A different breed!
    Iron men!

Perhaps taking a bigger interest than I should, I looked at Wealdstone fans forum.
Not only are their supporters claiming a penalty they are also claiming that Will Evans stamped on their injured player whilst he was on the floor.
Also claiming a handball leading up to Alfie’s goal.
Incredible eyesight from the other end of the stadium by their supporters, even better than the referee who was yards away.
If Andy Butlers account of events in his interview are true and I have absolutely no doubt they are then we will be awarded the three points without the need for a replay and Wealdstone should not only receive a large fine and point’s deduction, hopefully enough to send them to the bottom of the league.
Tinpot club with a clown for a manager.

    Agreed.
We should unquestionably receive 3 points. They should be ‘reprimanded’ with a 3 points deduction and a fine.
A points deduction is required to set a red line – engage in this type of malarkey at your peril.

They could have played out the remaining time in the hope of grabbing a point – there’s no way in the multiverse that they should be given a 2nd chance!

    Let’s see some action NL!

Act 1, Scene 1 has been a complete nightmare in terms of injuries, illness & suspensions – I’d guess everyone would agree that this ‘tournament’ is now completely unwanted?

Scales needed to split himself in two for their goal – why didn’t anyone help him out with their overlap?
He’d no chance to close down the distance and prevent their overlapping player from crossing.

Denton was out jumped by his guy – though he doesn’t seem to gain much height when he (Denton) jumps.

Our back four are struggling with simple balls in to the box. Happening every game.

We made one mistake like at Brackley and got punished Rene

It’s happening every game, more or less.

Campbell was initially the scapegoat – but, I think all have now seen and realised that it’s those in front of him (& Watson) who are the culprits.

If they (AB & JS) don’t sort it, we’ll be shipping at least a goal a game.

We could be in trouble against the better teams.

Can we win games 3-2; 4-3; maybe even 5-4 if the shoddy defending persists?
    It’s gunna be tough.

Poor defending again for their equaliser.

    No challenge on the crosser.
    Backing off, backing off.
    Easy cross.
Beaten easily at the back post.
Our lad in middle stopped as if he thought the ball had gone out of play.
He’s then out of the game, (having to restart his engine) which gives their boy the opportunity for an easy goal.
Another of their players unmarked & untracked following up and entering the 6 yard area.

    Shabby defending again.

They’ve only played two games away, both ending with a 2-1 scoreline – one in favour of and one against.

Even with our injuries, sickness & suspensions, I’m going:

    Iron 3-1 Stones

Nightmare. Best wishes to both players and hopefully they recover swiftly. Fingers crossed for both of them. Seems a very serious medical incident.

    Watson to start.
Oh dear. Think we will struggle tonight.
I can see midfield getting over run and the Spitfires targeting Jean Belehouan.

    Revised again: Eastleigh 2-1 Iron
    Sad to type that.

Wouldn’t be surprised to see this tonight, subject to injuries:-

    Campbell
    Belehouan Boyce Evans
    Scales Rowley Denton
    Ewing Beestin
    Roberts
    Whitehall

Scales & Denton WBs and midfield diamond

    Can I go:

    Campbell
    Scales Boyce Evans Denton
    Ewing Rowley Beestin
    Roberts Whitehall Howe

A hell of a camel ride to play Jekyll & Hyde FC.

7 points from 9, without conceding a goal at home.

    0pts from 9 away; scored 1, conceded 9

Their average home attendance is 1,010

We’re always likely to score but also concede one – so, I’m going 1-1

I wonder what price a red card is for any one of our players? A hat trick we want to avoid.

Too many brandys Mr Artois – those stats belong to Braintree!

    2,193 is Eastleigh average attendance.
    W2 L1 at home F4 A3 +1
    W1 L2 at away F3 A4 -1

    W3 L3 F7 A7 Gd0

    Eastleigh 0-2 Gateshead

They don’t look very fit in that clip, a lot of jog, jog, jog.
I’ve seen statues move faster than their CBs. In the clips I’ve seen, the LB looks to be the area to exploit.

If we’ve a full strengthish team out, then I think we’ll have too much for them.
Hopefully the trip hasn’t taken too much out of the boys and we can get at them at a high intensity.
They do have a long throw.
If we do go down to ten – please keep one up top.
