Sellars-Fleming on the bench for Hull City yesterday.
Does anyone know what our compensation rights, which we apparently retained, are ?

No. I have asked the question several times and our fraud of an owner has never allowed an answer.

This makes me very suspicious !

Preston were backed by a very wealthy gentleman and he covered the bills.

Mr Hayes was offered a 3 yr deal at £8K a week – he would have been stupid to turn it down.

…any past examples of fans who have got into trouble with not checking their comments? Any names spring to mind?

In the days of the EGO many solicitors letters were sent for comments made in print.

As many say be civil, watch the language it isn’t needed and above all before posting your comments check what you have put ! If you cannot prove it do not put it – it could be expensive.

Surely Swann won’t want to be known as the past Chairman who destroyed SUFC and broke the hearts of our very loyal supporters.

Swann spent money that he and the club didn’t have and to offset the losses kindly signed over all our assets to his company. I don’t think he gives a toss how he comes across.

I’m no Swann supporter, but at least get your facts right

Swann transferred assets over to his company in return for writing off £11,000,000.

I accept that he, and his managers, were absolutely crap with the use of the money over a long period, but he could have let us keep the assets and the £11M debt. We would have been much worse off than we are now.

On a Radio Humberside interview the EGO said we had gambled but failed.

That is factually incorrect – HE had gambled, we had no say in it. In fact no one had. So who sanctioned the spending season after season that then totaled into the debt of £11 Million – The Chairman had. Yet the club who had no so say in it has to repay its money to the person who spent it !!

After the EGO you think as far as stupidity goes we have seen it all !

We hadn’t. Club quite happy to take shirt sponsorship from IRON BRU and then bans him !

Scunthorpe United assumes mantle of COMEDY CLUB FC.

Misterton Mick says at the moment “nothing that is happening makes sense”.

Going back to the early days when Mr Hilton came in, who thought it made sense to replace Michael Nelson with a new manager from a lower level of football and said he hadn’t talked to prior to offering him the job ? And it still doesn’t make sense.

The NLN had warned they would not be allowed into the league if relegated. Then should wages be unpaid, and/or we failed to raise a team for a fixture that would it.

Sadly all a joke to some.

And another claim to fame – How many other clubs in the lower leagues have produced as many players who went on to Captain their country.

Why the wording of this item ?

It is not necessary. Don’t abuse someone who actually did something for the club in its darkest hour.

As usual the supporters have to sit and wait to what happens.

Should the club be fortunate and people take it over knowing all the issues the first thing is start by being honest. The old saying ” If at 1st we do deceive…….” is what causes issues. Some sit and wait to expose something – put it out there.

Tyler Sellars-Fleming signed for Hull. Supposedly we had a compensation clause should this happen. Asked the question and no answer given, I didn’t want to know the amount but why seemingly ignore it. Foster – what clauses did we have with him. This secrecy does raise suspicions, because the supporters have been forced to question everything.

Can the club be turned round ? I think yes, it will not be easy or quick but we can do it, the fans just want to be involved again and not treated as ‘mushrooms’ .

Good choice by Gainsborough. Young squad so will bring stability and structure which I am told is missing. Got several former Scunthorpe United players to work with several who he already knows.

Radio Humberside should be renamed Radio Hull.

Sadly due to the hierarchy at the BBC they have decimated local radio. What has been happening has been going on for years so don’t blame the presenters as they have a format to follow. If they don’t contracts do not get renewed.

Peter Swann should donate the ground to the Iron Trust.

    The least he should do.

Whatever is happening at the moment their is only one person responsible – Mr Peter Swann !

He will be loving this, watching all the in-fighting and Project Extinction raising its ugly head !

They have a very dangerous midfielder – Sam Osborne. We need to keep focused and take nothing for granted – look at Alfreton away last night 0-0.

I am sure the players and Jimmy D will be well aware.

Very sorry to have read this, my condolences to his family, friends and colleagues.

Ian wore the Iron shirt with pride and you could never question his commitment and he was missed when he eventually moved on.
    RIP ‘Hammo’.

Unemployment may have helped refocus Richie. With Barrows, he will be benefitting from regular games.

Best wishes to the team and all the staff tonight. Maintaining the momentum means all sections can benefit with revenue increasing.
