Right or wrong, a description of what the OP refers to would be useful instead of the usual cryptic messaging.

I’ve just taken a screenshot of the table, printed it off and framed it.

    Could be my only chance!

Non stop queue at the ticket office?

    With attendance restrictions?

    Find that hard to believe!

If Daz left a message there’s no reason they couldn’t have got back to him.

BPG ….. “The Bible must be factual in order for use of logic to be reasonable.”

The biggest laugh on this thread is that logical reasoning comes from reading the Bible.

You only have to read the first few pages to realise that there is absolutely zero logic between its pages.

Six day creation? Adam & Eve and a talking snake? Noah’s Ark? Tower of Babel?

Christianity doesn’t fare much better either.

Virgin birth? Rising from the dead?

    Yeah, all totally logical.

Then you quote an epistle written in Greek my a mortal man sometime in the second half of the first century.

He was just a guy like you Bill. Just his opinion, his take on things.

Doesn’t matter where your logic comes from, just use it for the benefit of your fellow man.

BTW Humans aren’t the only creatures to use reasoning and logic. Think about that one too.

    Speaking of logic….

“Faith is irrelevant. One could have an infinite amount of faith and it would still equal nothing.”

Decent enough squad for the league we’re in but if they are being managed by a pub team manager…………

Jimbo didn’t miss any of those sitters.

Anyone notice him giving Whitehall a bollocking Guardiola/Haarland style?

Perhaps a more interesting question would be “If there were no human beings on earth would God exist?”

    Ahem!

Wondered how long it would be before you came up with a Hillsborough jibe!

Agree that arguing too strongly with the Council is not the way to go.

If a tree falls down in the middle of the forest and there’s no one around to hear it, does it still make a sound?

It’s the same argument Theists love to make. Life after death. Can’t be proved or disproved because no one comes back from the dead to confirm it.

Natural sciences will still be around long after were gone.

Instead of trying to quantify your life why not just get on with living it?

I’ve got over a grand’s worth of Premium Bonds but every month I get a message saying “sorry no luck this month!”

Maybe Hilton should be nicknamed “Ernie” too?

Does he work for them or is that just a rumour?

    Shareholder.

After the bother with Fylde & Brackley.

Have to employ extra stewards and pay for policing.

“A statement from the Board of City Fans United reads: Anti-social or disorderly behaviour of any sort will not be tolerated at the Deva Stadium.

This was a damaging incident for our football club and must act as a watershed moment. We expect all supporters to behave responsibly and uphold our reputation, as any further incidents of disorder will have significant consequences.

The fine, damage repairs and increased costs associated with the action plan, which include stewarding and policing, amount to more than £30,000, which has a direct impact on our budget, and Calum’s ability to assemble the best possible squad.”

Being a football apprentice is as precarious as entering any entertainment business.

    Few make it to “stardom”.

When I was teaching we had a number of kids who were on Newcastle’s books. Most never became a Waddle or a Gascogne. The vast majority were released as went into a totally different profession, or at best hit the dizzy heights of Darlington or York.

We’re NLN for the foreseeable future. It’s something we have to accept.

The way the closure was handled is a different matter entirely.
