Whilst there are one or two that frequent this forum that are very quick to point out “I told you so” that should not be confused with wanting the team to disappear from the EFL.
Even UTI99 does not really want that despite his claims that it is no big deal.
By the way if you asked fans of long established League clubs if losing League status is a big deal then I suspect more than 99% of them would say it is a very big deal.
The raw emotion that we are seeing on the site these days is driven by fear of losing our League status. In manifests itself as anti the chairman simply because he is the only person in a position to influence the outcome.
A position of total control and responsibility that he himself sought, achieved and then revelled in. He has 2 weeks to take the actions (or not) that will determine the clubs immediate and possibly long term future.
Bear in mind Peter it will cost a few quid to stay in the League but will cost an awful lot more to get back there. Come on and prove the majority of us wrong here. I won’t even mind you saying “I told you so”.

Good to see family members showing some interest in the club. It’s been a while.

I would like us to sign players that are fit and can play a bit of football.

Unless you are playing against a significantly better football team why set up to defend?
Of course you defend as well as you can when you have to but to do it by choice seems bizarre to me. Southgate is by nature very cautious and I called it on here before the Euros.
I still believe we had the most talented squad in the competition particularly in attack. Must be a thing with ex Middlesbrough players to try and defend your way to a 1-0 win despite it rarely working.

Can’t believe Green gets the nod ahead of Scrimshaw or even Loft. Or even the club cat.
If Hill can make a footballer out of Devarn he should get the Old Trafford gig at the end of the season.
Rowe now being reinvented as a defensive midfielder? Will someone play the lad as right back until he gains more experience? He is a decent prospect at full back but he is not ready to play multiple positions.
As ever I hope Green, Rowe and Hill prove me wrong.

Sounded refreshingly honest to me. Was proud of his players effort whilst accepting they are not very good. Talked of improving the quality of his hard working less technical players and getting more work out of the more competent players.
Makes a lot of sense and more interesting than “We trained really well this week”.
Did not sense the distancing mentioned but let’s face it – Hill did not pick any of the 25 players he has inherited and would have been unlikely to pick more than 4 or 5 of them.
