In my paper Neil said they were bigger and stronger than us.
it is worrying, and I can see us nearer the bottom than we are now unless we start going for victories rather than defending deep and looking for breakaways the Wilcox way.

Two shots though they were both on target in 94 minutes.
Another nil with little attacking intent.

Watson probably had the game of his career in the home game against Carlisle.
He will probably have to do it again for us to get anything this evening.
but lightening doesn’t usually strike twice.
Loft is either very good or completely awfu, if it’s the latter you may as well bring him off at halftime.
if you have a lower budget you need a smaller squad of good players not a big squad of non league standard below National League Premier level.

I have said before I think Russ is a big influence in tactics, this style of play is typical Russ cautious football.
And work together during the week Burny.
I am surprised you not having the vaccine seeing your circumstance at home.
Crawley shocker
Bradford good
Southend shocker
Oldham good
Exeter shockerEvery other home game
Got to admit I didn’t see the one where he nearly gifted it to their player, only heard the comments, I nipped to the loo.
So our keeper who saved us in injury time had a poor game Barton, and what was all his errors, the rest I won’t disagree with though possibly Eisa was probably a 5, forwards very poor today.

They at least gave it a go, we didn’t, we would have been tired I expect playing 2 games a week but…..
Apart from not having a shot on target we didn’t have any near misses either, shocking performance and every forward had a shocker today, and before BS gives Howard a 5 for his kicking he saved us near the end, our passing was poor all through the team and the forwards would beat a man and then either fall over the ball or lose possession, they were as bad but at least they tried to attack more than we did.
Southend home revisited.

My mate in Scunthorpe has confirmed it is and he was a really nice bloke and has a young daughter, the strange thing is I knew him as Brookie but never knew his first name, his dad died outside the ground a year a two ago so this will be a awful time for his family, RIP Alan you will be missed at the Sands Venue
Is that Tony Goslings mate.
Club have said all 65s and over will need vaccination proof at the turnstiles before admission next year.
I’ve had both of mine and it is written on a card they give you when they do it.
we will probably get to know more when our chairman comes back from building a new Hotel and Night Club on the Planet Mars, mobile reception isn’t very good from there at the moment.

the main thing is not to wait until the last minute to sign new players.

So it was dirt or dust that got into his eyes
the club admitted they agreed it was a penalty, but said he pushed him in the chest not in the face.
Barton 5 is a below average score, 6 is average.

Howe’s dad is a director of Reading FC and the nephew of Don Howe the former England international and coach, I have been impressed with Teddy and I don’t know whether we are going to try to sign him because he isn’t getting a look in at Blackpool.
I don’t know how you give Howard 5 Barton, he kept a clean sheet and made a good block save near the end, I base a keeper on his saves and not on where he kicks the ball unless it is to a oncoming forward, a keeper who keeps finding his man is a bonus, I am not knocking anyone tonight because the all put a shift in and you couldn’t say that against Southend.
I agree with you on the referee, he was excellent.
Massive improvement from Saturday, it could have been 8-8, how we kept some of their chances out was remarkable and their keeper made some good saves as well, impressed with Howard, Howe, Clarke, Bedeau and Eisa and nobody had a bad game, another couple of wins should see us safe but just a pity about Saturdays performance, I thought the referee was pretty good also.
but who was expecting a performance like Saturday after a good performance against a decent Oldham team.
Spot on Bartonscorpian.
that’s if we don’t go on a run like 2 years ago and replace one of them.
