You don’t have his name on the back of your replica shirt then Les.

It’s OK having a Summer like last season and get rid of the high earners and replace them with lower non league players, but what do they gain when you have to sign quality players in January to get us out of trouble.

Things went downhill after the defeat to Rotherham in the playoffs, it would have been interesting to know what we would have done if we had got promoted that season, we probably wouldn’t have sold Townsend, Wallace and Holmes etc, so apart from the extra revenue would we still have thrown the towel in because we did that summer and UTI99 has kept dropping the budget since.

They might be back in less than a month
Whoever wins these 2 games only holds the Trophies until the end of the month.
Harrogate are playing in the Trophy Final.
Matete is a non starter, Fleetwood value him at £800k, so surprising him being on loan at Grimsby.
By his interview yesterday it sounded like he still wants some experience.
We will probably keep the ones the supporters are not fussed if they stay or go, but probably the ones we would like to keep will go.

It wouldn’t be so bad if it kept you logged in.
Club survives a pandemic. Team retains its EFL status.
Just like the other 72 EFL clubs have survived Covid.
You’re as bad as Swann. Maybe you are Swann!
reminds me of the song.
There once was an ugly duckling
With feathers all stubby and brown
And the other birds said in so many wordsGet out of town
Get out, get out, get out of town
And he went with a quack and a waddle and a quack
In a flurry of eiderdownThat poor little ugly duckling
Went wandering far and near
But at every place they said to his face
Now get out, get out, get out of here
And he went with a quack and a waddle and a quackAnd a very unhappy tear
All through the wintertime he hid himself away
Ashamed to show his face, afraid of what others might say
All through the winter in his lonely clump of wheat
Till a flock of swans spied him there and very soon agreedYou’re a very fine swan indeed!
A swan? Me a swan? Ah, go on!
And he said yes, you’re a swan
Take a look at yourself in the lake and you’ll see
And he looked, and he saw, and he said
I am a swan! Whee!1 user thanked author for this post.
Get Muzzy, Crozzer, Bara and Torps out of retirement, with Beagrie and Cleveland on the wing and Haysie and Keogh upfront we will walk it.

For one thing it will be very difficult for it being worse next season.

Barrow winning for the time being.
A, glutton for punishment
B, whyThe defending is as bad as the scoring Cass.
Glad to see were not having a social media boycott like the players,
I thought they started that weeks ago on the pitch.

Cass, can we actually get more defensive.
He hasn’t been the same since his short spell at Sunderland.

Embarrassing how we have performed this last few games, a massive clear out needed and the mystery is how we have 47 points, we certainly need to let the shackles off the last 2 games because this negative approach isn’t working and playing some attacking football cannot do any worse, it’s not impossible not to get relegated but can’t see Southend overturning 8 goals, but if Cox is here next season he has got to stop over thinking games and start entertaining.
Seeing we are playing with 2 full backs and 3 centre backs we can all guess.
Looks like we are playing 5 at the back looking for a 0-0 draw.
I’ve got to admit I am not trying to think about it because it is making me nervous, I have said for weeks we are relying on other teams and this has gone on for a few years now with players giving up in the last 3 months, so a lot of this has to be put down to the Chairman and I guess a lot to do with new contracts, it came to light with the Dawson / Bishop dip in form in one of the failed promotion bids and has just carried on.

April 25, 2021 at 10:26 am in reply to: At what point do we consider the manager is the problem? #205427I can’t understand why Karacan didn’t start yesterday, the game should have been targeted for a must win but midfield was too defensive and after they scored the first goal the team then gave up.
Neil does swap the team about too much even if it is not through injuries, but I have not seen another team get injuries like we do.it’s not what money has been spent, it’s how it has been spent, look at Accrington how they have built a team with little income, and even in this division the number of teams that have decent teams who don’t have nowhere the budget that we have had, we have too big a squad with most not league standard, we have a u23 squad with a manager and possible too many coaches if you include the youth team when they could possibly merge together.

certainly by this seasons recruitment standards.
If Neil likes playing exciting attacking football, I wouldn’t like to see his negative boring style.
He told me the other week he hadn’t nothing to do with any of the signings and wouldn’t have recommended most of them.

I bet Lee Turnbull is laughing his bo***x off.
The performance today was one of the most gutless efforts I have seen for a long time, nobody earned their money today and to have another game without a shot on target is unacceptable, there was no motivation on or off the pitch today, I can’t fathom out the tactics but it’s certainly designed to spend as much time as possible in our penalty area and not to attack the other end, we are now relying on Exeter, Port Vale or Cambridge to take a minimum of 2 points off Grimsby and we don’t get big defeats from our last 3 games.

Can you imagine it being called The Coolsilk Stadium
