And getting a penalty that clearly wasn’t one!
ref must have been confused, Red shirts White shorts and Black socks, it must be something about that colour strip that gets dodgy penalties.
your hatred of Newcastle is worse than mine with Manchester United.

still a ex Iron who plays in the Premier League.
Jacob Murphy of Newcastle couldn’t get a regular start either and only started 3 games when he was here, surprised Northumbiron hasn’t mentioned him.
I bought mine today saving me a extra £38 but if it had been £228 like it normally is for early bird I think I would have jacked in, so I am giving it one more season but if it’s as bad as the last 3 I will stop getting one next season and will just go to games depending on the weather and how we are playing, I am getting too old for 35 mile round trips in cold rainy or snowy weather.

Cass, exciting is not the Scunthorpe way anymore.
It’s possible that a fee is payable because he isn’t a full pro and still a youth player, being out of contract but offered a full time deal, or it wouldn’t be fair on small clubs if players are stolen, it will probably only be a few thousand.
I would never have imagined Sam Johnstone in the England Squad when he was here, Ramsdale reminds me of Rory W, makes great saves but doesn’t inspire confidence, also relegation follows him about.
I haven’t for the last 3 seasons but we aren’t yet in the same boat as some of these clubs, but on a smaller basis of size and support we are running down like Portsmouth did, but haven’t got to the stage of Bury or Rushden & Diamonds.
Announced but not on sale.
Is this why UTI99 is quiet? Dad’s told him to pull his finger out?
he might even be Dad?
Not a chance, and if the did sign anybody they will probably name and parade them in July wearing the new shirts.
Yes but he would be coming here for mega bucks, but…..
Hereford is 4.15 kick off not 5.
BLT, I think we won’t need any help for getting relegated, like one of their posters predicts, we must be nailed on.

with the squad we have left at the moment I don’t know about League 2 Champions, I don’t think we would be in the running to be National League North Champions, like SS24 said 4 or 5 are good enough, O’Malley, Manny, Taft, Spence and Beestin, with maybe Rowe, Loft and Green getting there.
I saw it earlier and Trinity have signed a player who we have never replaced.

Most clubs in the lower divisions are getting rid of the high earners, I am sure a lot of them when they realise there is no big pay cheques will then be happy to to take a drop rather than go on the dole or work in a factory or office.
I never post a Scunthorpe win either, but 3 12 point results on the last day made up for the Mansfield scores that appeared and then disappeared again the other week after I thought I hadn’t done it, but well done Toney because I was surprised I was still 4th a fortnight ago never mind a mad last set of scores, but well done Matt and the others who have helped to support bru over the last 12 months.
don’t forget we got McAtee out of Shrewsbury reserves and had been on loan at Northern Premier League level clubs, so wasn’t probably a high earner here, I would love to see a fit Hallam and didn’t he have a operation to sort his problems.
SCARY, to put it mildly.
But some who turned down contracts may get a shock.

It doesn’t matter who goes you have to remember we finished 3rd bottom and lucky we didn’t finish in the bottom 2, sorry to see KVV go but he hasn’t set the world alight when he has played this season, I see we are trying to keep McGahey and Gillihead, can’t see it happening but I would have pushed the boat out to have kept Howard and Karacan, the disappointing thing is out of the players remaining less than half of them are good enough or experienced enough.

only the ones that can make a differnce.

just waiting from approval from Wondergoals and UTI99.
it was when Howard got injured a few weeks back we started conceding goals for fun though Rory played well, is it the defenders try to protect him more than Mark and make mistakes instead, the proof is in the stats, can’t understand how he got a new 2 years contract a year ago after all his gaffs, he is OK as a no 2 but isn’t consistent enough, previous season we conceded a lot, put Eastwood in the team and started keeping clean sheets.
You will be going out now, so will ring you on my mobile to fool you.
I will give you a call tomorrow Barrie.
I feel the same as you and completely agree, I was going to give it one more season because I may give the car up in another year because I have got problems with dry eyes and it is severe in my left one, I can see OK but it is really irritating, and still don’t know what it would be like watching live football.

should he be surprised, he needs to do something to get the fans interested, signing players you have never heard of and now no match day programme he has to do something amazing because what we saw last season on iFollow will not have fans rushing to buy season tickets, even chunkier chips and a new selection of pies in the kiosks will do it, we want to see a couple of interesting signings before the end of the month who the fans may say wow to, not reserve players from North Ferriby etc.

Hmm. A reserves team? – Why would that eat up a huge budget?
I moaned when we stopped having one – it gives so many opportunities to: keep fringe players fresh; get injured players moving gradually to match fitness – and also an opportunity for two or three youngsters to have first encounters with the pro game. When last we had one, it was unusual not to see five or six youngsters featuring which was downright silly. Used sensibly – could be a good option.
when we had the reserve team last I think it wasn’t used properly, we rarely gave a game to the lads on the first team bench and only played players if they were back from injury for an hour, 90% of players were youth team players who had played the previous Saturday.
