HR Sounds
32 mins in bit about SUFC accounts .. would be nice if the 250k “bad debt” could be explainedSorry about the long link ..pulled it off FB
The club is fortunate Butler has managed the squad so well in terms of fitness. He doesn’t get the credit he deserves for this. Don’t have the stats but I would imagine this is the least players we’ve used in a whole season since the 90s.
yes agree Harry .. credit there and also the way hes managed to keep all positions covered even while some players are out on loan ..cant knock B or his staff on that score.
IF ONLY ….. we had not had that run of dire form/performances playing so negatively 5 at the back we may possibly be home n dry by now .. most teams have rough spells including Kiddy and Brackley for that matter.
SUFC is over staffed in some areas mentioned bearing in mind we are in the NLN ..
We don’t know the actual duties and workload, do we – so how can you say that with certainty? Wasn’t it previously mentioned that James Moody was, effectively, doing the jobs of two or three people during the Hilton era? That’s not sustainable in itself – nothing would be given the time it demands or be done with the expertise it requires.
Obviously cant say it for absolute certainty sure .. more so its IMO its over staffed in some areas for a NL club.
Yes Off loaded LT and running with a small squad (well balanced with cover so kudos there) but always seems to be money for non playing staff inc the new CEO who as yet has been pretty nondescript.
No.
Rather see Hiltons extravagant spending on the team. (Would seem not bad in the end anyway seeing we only lost £250,000)
Now what is extravagant is employing a CEO, a Catering manager, stadium manager all tuther office staff, and a restaurant, all very well and good for a team in the EFL but national league north I don’t think so.
All beyond our control either direction.Im not commenting re Hiltons era as its all to grey but i must agree AWG ..that SUFC is over staffed in some areas mentioned bearing in mind we are in the NLN ..
Talking to a couple ppl on the ground in Scunny saying ITO unless big numbers attend from all over UpNorth it could well be a disaster as local sales have been very slow.
Im sure Mr Zanettis’ recent half time show hasnt helped ticket sales and now this licensing issue may be another nail in the coffin. All this modern music not my cupps tea and 60 quid for ear drum damage unless the accoutics get sorted …. now if Depeche Mode are signed Enjoy The Silence and Jimmy Sommerville Smalltown Boy worth the entrance fee alone…. no need for snorting moon dust either.

Posted this on another thread last night ( and apologized)
Wrong thread guys sorry but I see Unity Jerry n Co are funding an Easter Kids party .. surely loosing 60k a month and needing 5k a week according to Michelle this money would be better used going to the club not chocolate eggs and fluffy bunnies.
Unless of course Jerry is paying from his personal funds tho it does state the unity group are holding it.
Not being racist or religaphobic (new word) how will this sit with non Christian members of the Unity group what next a kids Ramadan party.
Personally even fromafar i do my bit but dont intend on getting involved with this unity group as i have reservations about the founders and ones with the chek book .. also must be said regarding anything to do with SUFC Jerry comes across as a rather rude know all and very condescending on SM.
I hope the Unity Group’s contributions will be detailed.

sugij pleased you are safe .. i was in the Sukhumvit rd soi 77 Onut area going to Prawet when it hit .. did not hang about and got out onto M9 ring road before all bridges and tunnels etc were closed spent today driving up North to Udonthani province….many people stuck in the central Bangkok though i think the sky trains etc are open again.
Sadly lots of construction workers missing at the Chatuchak site
Keep safe if you are still in the capital.

ive been off the radar a as got tangled up in the Bangkok earthquake , i was in the outskirts of the city when it hit but managed to get out onto the motorway ring road before they closed all the bridges etc .. scary stuff bright n sunny yet loud rumbling thunder which actually was the sound coming from under ground not the sky .. power poles and trees swaying and a few roads look like waves in the sea now …not sure how many were killed as some buildings collapsed.
Trying to get up to speed whats happened re the steelworks ?
Whall out injured or sold ??Back home up North now and be tuning in to the game today ..
Im going for 2-1 to the iron
Att 3,958Conspicuous by their absence this week. Thought Stuart Maw would have had a video out on Sunday telling us all what to think. I hope their raffle (all legal and above board of course) on the bus to the big Lincs cup final went well.
Stu Maw YT vids have stopped since Nippgate so at least something good came if it 5555..
There’s always the possibility that there’ll be something ridiculously dramatic like Fitzsimons getting sent off this Saturday, or Roberts getting injured…
a very valid point over looked by all the fans who now think we are nailed on champs .. last thing any of us want is the nasty play offs again.

I see some are still very positively exclaiming the “win all 6” tag line when in reality we wont do that ..not with KLT Spenny and Hereford to play all away.
Its gonna be very tight between the Iron Kiddy n Brackley and may all come down to the last day and or goal difference/games won.So in direct answer to the thread header … im not sure if pushed to get off the fence sad to say i just think we will get pipped by either of the other 2.

I was trying to work out the guys thought process has to just how it was all Brus fault …
answers on a post card to …..
Here you go
Credited to Jason Hinsley on the SUFC fb pageThe bell ends on Iron Bru have caused all this with stupid rumours by the half a dozen or so that still bother to post on the site, a site ran by a guy who falsley accused a major fundraiser at SUFC of being a thief and wasn’t man enough to publicly apologise, the same guy that mind boggling the iron trust keep as a committee member Michelle, rest assured the majority of us are 100% behind what you and the other board members are doing and trust you with the future of the club, ignore the morons on Bru and keep doing what you’re doing

I can’t see that thread
Who’s the guys name who starts the threadWhich thread are you referring to?
Where you mentioned bru getting slated on Scunny fans Facebook
It was me that read the thread slagging Bru off earlier today .. its on the Scunny club fb page not the Fans fb page.
Posted on the CLUB STATEMENT thread by a member Jason Hinsley

I would love to be in the DRE but alas at the moment until i retire thats out the question , that said even though im across tuther side of the world i found ways to contribute both directly and via folks doing stuff on the ground there .. so being out of the country what do i get in return for my contributions ? Easy answer …. my memories and love for my home town club are well worth a few quid and im guessing many other Scunny fans around the world feel the same.

Gareth’s videos are a bit boring, but I really appreciate that he is doing them and has the passion to do them. No-one can fault that.
In general with the Iron Hour crew it seems to me that there’s very little self-awareness. Not all of them, it has to be said, but certainly a couple of them. Particularly over last night’s ‘forgive Gareth’ campaign thread on the Facebook group. Double standards, lack of accountability.
I never bother with the Iron Hour podcast .. not my cuppa tea
This Zanetti fella head full of moon dust is just digging a deeper hole for himself ..there isnt any explanation for his half time demented antics other than hes a bell end
I think Gareth might have got misled
He’s Scunny through and through
No hate from meSame here .. i reckon he was sold a pup n fed a loadof BS which got him into this pickle .. seems like a proper nice bloke nary a sinister thought towards SUFC ..he loves the club thats plain to see.
Like his YT vlogs all be it a tad repetitive.1 user thanked author for this post.
March 25, 2025 at 8:19 am in reply to: Calum Roberts and boardroom news from Michelle’s BBC chat #300565He’ll end up at Donny.
Or worse …………… the Cods
We … Bru getting torn a new arse on one thread on the SFFBP totally unjustified IMO.
Afew ideas popping up on SM re ways to find much needed investment, hopefully that fifth investor will surface soon .. indeed ive bought lotto tickets today and everything is crossed even my ears.
Agree with the OP, even with an army of Stu Maw clones basic fundraising simply isnt gonna be enough and hopefully the club and fans can come up with a solution… i just wish Stu would take his tongue out the BovD arses and less voyeuristic gushing please… all whilst flogging his footy cards (which im not knocking btw)
The unfortunate thing is it does have an air of predator behaviour about it.
Vultures circling round any poor sods in dire situations. Promising piles of no strings attached cash, except for the opportunity to film people making cups of tea in the boardroom, maybe a 24hr livestream of watching the pitch grow.
I don’t buy the social, doing it for the love of the game angle.
Sympathies to any clubs on their hitlist.
Totally agree i wasnt buying the guys fake “caring for the club n game bollocks” its all about them making money quick and then gone like a fart in the wind …but of course im only a mere pleb of a fan what can i possibly know.
Chester v Chorley in playoffs be tasty.
Pleased it wasnt only me that thought this guy was an absolute tool.

Anyway mate thanks but NO THANKS for that now TATTY BYE .. and i wish you lots n lots ov luck finding a club whose fans are onside and want to work with you.
seems most of this is playing out on twitter X .. i dont use it so just picking up titbits as i see em .. how has Gareth Ironarmy got himself involved thought he had more sense unless he was hood winked by slippery Sharp n radar Roberts
well worth a listen

Thats a proper scam .. 49 quid to be entitled to buy a share of a club ..not actually getting anything
