I’m guessing Scales could well fill in it fullback and I thought he did ok there in the second half on Tuesday but they may try and get at us down that right hand flank. Could well be a tight game but I always fancy us at home and I hope Elliot starts and Whitehall has time to reflect on the bench that he needs to give us more physicality up top, despite his goals this season he still isn’t showing enough for me.

We should not be surprised by the BS response, he won’t discuss facts when he knows they prove him wrong, he would much rather preach rhetoric and hate. Suits his agenda more I believe.
Aye the facts don’t lie just Sunak and Braverman, stop the boats my arse more like make a drop in the ocean sound like a huge problem.
Fair enough Apollo 11, LBH, Whitehall is a pale shadow of Steve Torpey in the role he is playing for us this season, no comparison whatsoever, he is not a good target man type player and needs to be part of a pair up top to be effective enough IMO.

Aside from anything else, that means that no-one unlicensed to photograph, film or broadcast audio from the game is actually allowed to bring in a mobile phone.
If that’s the case then that is a massive can of worms waiting to crawl free, should we ban 90% of the crowd from going to games then?
Where does all that leave people like Gareth who does a great job with Iron Army, has he an appropriate licence?, I presume he has the club’s permission to film inside and around the ground but there are loads of you tube vlogs for a huge amount of football clubs run every week in this country, where do they all stand legally?
If Carver and Bennett are doing so well at Southport then why aren’t they with us.Those two have got to be better than Whitehall (who is a joke) and Elliott
I suspect that, just like Torpey, Whitehall “does things you can’t see”…
Torpey was in the centre backs face constantly and held the ball up by being strong and aggressive, Whitehall is none of those things IMO.
Yep Awaywego you got it spot on, hope to see another home win Saturday but full back is becoming a problem with injuries cropping up on a regular basis, Barrow coming on to clap the fans at the end on crutches looked worrying, his ankle heavily strapped looked really swollen. Ref was absolute garbage throughout.

Thought Rance would have found a club by now, I’m sure someone would take him.
If he is banned from matches then surely the directors are aware and if so why even pay the scum the time of day. Really strange one.
Their team selection problems plus Carver and Bennett not available for them in this fixture is music to my ears, hope we can really batter them and set ourselves up for another home win on Saturday.
Perry Cotton the New Zealander, me and a few mates referred to him as Picking Cotton, which we all thought he would have been better at rather than playing football.
On the tuther side smoking goat blaming Hilton for not having any Bovril yesterday, “really”!
Sounds like someone else has got a beef with Hilton.

Just say you think Israel murdering innocent people is wrong, you won’t lose face you won’t be hounded down you will just appear to sympathise with their intolerable situation without reverting to ” yeah but no but ” etc etc. Doesn’t do you any credit whatsoever Siderite.
So anyway back to my first post today, Israeli bombs now being dropped in South Gaza despite Palestinians being told by Israel to go there whilst they flushed out Hamas in the North but spoiler alert, Israel are flushing them out in the South despite asking innocent Palestinians to go there to find refuge. Perfectly understandable reasoning from Israel I can see where JI and Siderite are now coming from. When reasoning and facts are portrayed as straw manning then I guess sarcasm is all that remains, sleep tight everyone, unlike some innocent Palestinians in Gaza there is a very good chance most of us on this forum will wake up tomorrow .
Gleeful eagerness, sounds more like paranoia on your part JI, I know it’s very personal for you regarding this conflict but keep a sense of perspective and I’m not baiting anybody but if that’s how you interpret facts out forward then that is for you to judge
Crowd announced at just shy of 2000 with 140 odd from Darlo, decent turnout for this type of game at this stage really. Game sounds to have lacked quality but Darlo offered very little till a couple of efforts put wide late on, another worldy from Butterfield apparently, it’s getting a little blaise these days which is unforgivable given his brilliance at this level.

Not sure why you go off on a tangent Siderite, the last few posts are about the murder of Palestinians by Israeli bombs in the South of Gaza where the Israelis told them to go, are you saying all of those current deaths in the South of Gaza by Israeli bombs and tanks is fake news?

Lost your velvet glove there JI in fact it was a bit of a rant on your part. I understand the siuation for you is very delicate but at the end of the day Palestinians are being murdered after complying with Israeli instructions. You can dress it up however your conscience directs you.

Yet again on today’s news more examples of Israeli humanitarianism, move to the South of Gaza because we will bomb the North to get to Hamas. However the South is being bombed and more Palestinians who have moved from the North are being killed. I’m sure the Israeli propoganda machine will have a perfectly valid reasonable reason for this to be happening.
An old footy mate, sadly no longer with us who was also called Les, sat next to me for many seasons. Everytime the Iron got a corner he would shout, ” get somebody coming in on that back post “, wise words indeed, we are not physical enough in the box these days from corners, my old mate was correct.
“Bathgate no more, Linwood no more
Methil no more…….!”You about to proclaim something NI?
If you read the super small print at the bottom of the link it states the winner of the first week gets a lifesize wax work model of Hilton.
Dartboard with the fallen ones face on the front might go down well, plus a set of tungsten tipped super sharp arrows also supplied.
Just a point off top and a game in hand on South Shields, we all need to chill out, not even Xmas yet guys and we are handily placed in this league IMO.
Sorry Heathy, typing up while you were posting, we covered similar ground.
If all this wasted money had been invested in getting more staff to process these people in a faster responsible way then decisions to allow people to stay or go back would have been made. It’s not even a major problem anyway compared to overall allowed immigration which is way too high. Mind you it’s a nice headline grabber blaming people seeking refuge for the majority of the countries problems which the current government is incapable of solving.
It’s easy saying Palestinians should kick Hamas out of Gaza, I’m guessing it’s not that simple.
As do your vulnerabilities, better getting praying.
“ patronising velvet glove”. How good is that!,JustIron.
Well he’s more subtle than you bill, your more patronising prat full stop.
Used to love the smell of creosote as a kid when Dad was coating his fence panels and wooden stakes in the stuff in our back yard. It was a very big yard with chicken pens and dog kennels all over the place but he always used creosote on his timber for preservation. Guess the smell wasn’t for eveyone though, bit like Marmite although I don’t advise you drink creosote or put in in your cheese sandwiches.
