Waterfall has his critics on the fishy forum and IMO he was no great shakes when he played for us but players change overtime, I suspect National League is his level, dropped a lot of bollocks in league two according to some fishy followers. McAtee different altogether, has the tools to become a really good EFL player again IMO.

We would also fill your away end captain, heard they reduced the away end capacity only letting 1500 in now is this true and if so why.

Because it’s a shit hole and it’s falling down 🤔😂

Yep congratulations to Ryan and Forest, feel a tad sorry for Dwayne, he was our player after all and Ryan despite being excellent in his time with us never was.

Young Gallimore is doing very well thanks for asking and we will deffo see a lot more first team action next season. As for McAtee was doing ok under Hurst but just stopped showing interest after he left and Wilcox assumed temporary charge till the end of that season. Our problems start and end with our pathetic owner and former Chairman but I guess you will know that if you have read this forum over recent seasons. Don’t lose it in the last minute in the final eh 😂

Until Trent Alexander- Arnold learns to do his job properly as a defender, he will never be classed as a great player IMO.

It’s not West Ham’s ground they only lease it. Bought with taxpayers money, still needs taxpayers money to cover losses.

Saw Depeche Mode there in 2016!

    See Andrew Fletcher just died.

    It’s not at Wembley

Didn’t realise that, bit strange, FA Trophy Final at Wembley but not the playoff final.

All the stars aligning for a Cod’s promotion at this rate, three last gasp goals in the last two games sends them to Wembley. Would be quite ironic and hilarious if they lose the final in the last minute.

Bit of an unsung hero Bish, agree with a lot of what les said and while the fans were falling over themselves fawning over our strikers, Bish just went about his business in a real professional way.

Could you smell the coffee and was turnbull reading the tea leaves

I hear someone tried to cross his palm with silver but the minimum he would take was the price of a season ticket.

Jackie, the club do like to use Twitter, for those that don’t know Scunthorpe united have put the most tweets out of any club in the world ( of course until proven otherwise).

Actually it’s Dale Park Junior Football Club who put out the most tweets then any other football club in the workd, I have it that info from a good source in Winterton. Unless proven otherwise of course.

Guess a player can have an off day, just wish we had a player with 47 goals scored in 3 years.

More prison sentences, more lifetime bans, agree that going back to fences is a no no. We have to move forward in a positive way by being stronger with the way we use the laws at our disposal.

I’m sure Awaywego hasn’t a shred of evidence to back up his claim that ” many on here haven’t been to any Scunny game in years ” but its another nice soundbite with his apparent obsession for ” bullshitology “. 🐮💩

Gary Hooper, Billy Sharp, Andy Keogh…

Yep three lads who we bought relatively cheaply and I presume they were not deemed good enough long term for their respective clubs. They all were absolutely brilliant for us, two of them scored shed loads of goals in a short time and were then sold on for handsome profits that enabled us to become a Championship club. Of course a certain ” amateur ” chairman was in charge at GP back then, not the professional business colossus we have currently running the show, into the ground.

    Seriously?

Swann is trying to sell the club,

Really is he, what evidence is there? Oh yes his word, in which you believe 100%, yet you call several people on this thread idiotic. 😂😂😂. You couldn’t make it up really but alas uti appears to make it up as he/she goes along.

It’s the same response we have had from the club pre season after pre season in recent years, nothing has changed but the fans response to buying season tickets prior to August this year will IMO see a massive change as a result of all this.

You never address a single point raised uti but are happy to repeat the same old rhetoric, you obviously don’t get it but the responses by people on this thread and others you have raised in a similar vein show that they do. The saying ” wake up and smell the coffee ” is a familiar one that has been used over the years to try and get the blinkered to rethink their position, I fear your percolator has run out of coffee beans. ☕

Why would the club need liquidating if it has sufficient cash flow through ticket sales? 🤦🏻‍♂️

I said what is the guarantee, meaningless drivel from you isn’t a guarantee that money is returned, you can’t disprove a thing because cash can be manipulated in and out of businesses with a few strokes of a clever accountants pen. Fans have no guarantee that their money invested for the coming season with the club in such an unsure position about it’s future and hemorrhaging money on a weekly basis, is going to be safe. Fans are sick to death of years of bullshit which has come to nothing and now the club is crumbling before the eyes whilst the culprit skulks in the shadows with a statement the club is being sold. Why should fans believe it is being sold?, after all it’s just another statement and how many of them have been released over the years and come to nothing?
Until the club is sold and the owner has gone and the future of the club has been put in a clear light that fans can come to terms with and get some actual belief back, then people will not pay up front in large numbers. They are weary and now wary about the club’s future in the present owners hands, trust has gone, people don’t believe anymore, people are feeling conned and let down and have had enough. It’s just an opinion but I talk to a lot of fans and I know what I hear and I don’t believe I’m the only one hearing it either.
Believe what you want uti99 but the majority of fans I speak to just don’t believe anymore and until Swann goes I don’t believe that will change.
