Buck’s in full PR mode in defence of his beloved Tory government, I’m sure he’s on the payroll because his statement above is just ridiculous and this chancellor and his PM are looking more ridiculous day by day. Oh and they haven’t said a word about the current f**k up since the shit began hitting the fan, wonder why? They had plenty to say to the country when looking for top jobs in the Government a few weeks back.

Good old Buck’s, resurfaces after ages away and resorts to type, so funny.

Don’t expect any different from them DM, it’s always somebody else’s fault not the ones they blindly follow without question.

Agree Siderite I feel the same and also regard the three cities you mentioned as more our neighbours and closer culturally then Midlands cities. Our daughter lives in Leeds and as a result we spend a lot of time there socially and it’s a top place with great restaurants, bars and night life plus we always find the people very friendly and welcoming. Some good beer on offer too.

At least when Saka came on he played him in the position he has been so effective for Arsenal this season. Saka and Mount coming on made all the difference and but for two howlers by Maguire and Pope, England would have won playing some half decent football. Bellingham is going to be an absolute star for England if he’s allowed just to play, him and Grealish could rule in that team for years to come.

Never lose your sense of humour DM, it’s one of the things they can’t take off you but your right to be concerned, this government is taking a massive gamble and as usual it’s at the expense of the ordinary people not the rich and priviledged.

    Rees-Mogg?

First job would be scrap London buses and reintroduce Hansom cabs.

I like Nuttall but his first touch is so poor, can the coaches make that their number one priority to him week in week out?

The Lionesses are better to watch in more ways than one, I’m a huge fan and find them very entertaining. Their coach took over a talented group of players and knew straightaway just how to get the best out of them and yes it works very well.

I believe his injury was also a reason he was let go and I’m just concerned he may not be as fully fit as he used to be despite being young. Last thing we need is another passenger in the ranks, hope I’m wrong of course.

You could be right about Hill being our worst manager but he left us with some half decent players after his summer recruitment and maybe somebody else ( maybe Tony D ) might get them working more consistently.

…..also Feeney looked like a hamstring injury late on which at his age could mean bye bye till sometime next year or even for good. We still need a centre back despite Tafts moment of madness yesterday.

Are yes Dennis Moore famously gave the poor lupins rather then money after stealing from the rich, don’t put anymore ideas into the head of Truss FFS, she just might run with that one too.

I will also add that Beestin did a lot of watching and not much moving to block out danger first half, is this still a fitness issue? Yet he seemed to do more second half which would suggest not. Was it more a bollocking issue then?, which if it was then it was not good enough from him first half and he needs to improve his attitude.

Very honest and says it in a muck and bullets way, great stuff and really refreshing. If you had a fans meeting with him about the way the club was being run you feel, unlike some other bloke we know, the very least he would be is genuine.

Can someone who was there please tell me why our CM did not exist in the first half?
Were Dorking that brilliant or … ?

When you stand off players, don’t close them down quick enough and allow them to play then you get punished. The second goal was a result of pushing too many up for a free kick we basically fu***d up and just got caught out on the break through lack of cover. The application of the players second half was 100% better and why we cannot harness that ethic for 90 minutes is probably the greatest unanswered questions of this current squad of Iron players. If Daws and Nelson can solve that puzzle then we have a good chance of moving up the league, we have to be more consistent and apply ourselves for the whole game. Tactics, team shape or how we deal with different teams game by game withstanding, we have to graft as a team all game, every game.

Lavery could turn out to be a very useful addition on today’s showing. Took his goal well, held it up at times and appears to have what Nuttall lacks, a football brain.

We have a really talented squad of players including really good midfield players and attackers yet we continually play with the hand brake on, it seems to me anyway. It would be nice just to go out and have a proper go at teams from the off, the only time we looked full of intent and purpose was after we went a goal down. Just let them off the leash Gareth and give the fans some entertainment.

Laws day has come and gone and if wallowing in nostalgia is what we are reduced to its because the reality today is too harsh for most fans to take. We had some glorious years under Wharton, Laws and Nigel and now it’s gone, such is life it’s tough but it is what it is. 😞

Yep I always go in person, buy and pick up there and then. I realise not everybody can do that and I sympathise there should be no problems Awaywego with what you wanted to do and what you should expect. It’s beyond shite and sums up the lack of professionalism in the way the club is run.

Freezing to death in your own home clutching a glass of malt whisky, could be worse, could be a glass of blended.
