Roger Waters is like a geriatric version of Russell Brand, everybody’s view is a conspiracy theory but his conspiracy theories are ok. Those years of animosity with Dave Gilmour about who owns Pink Floyd and blah blah blah have really fu***d his brain over. Talented man musically but so very sad in other areas.

Don’t know much about the lad and not sure why a relegation rival would allow a player who’s made 19 league appearances this season to come to us, it’s a little baffling. Hope he’s fit and it’s just maybe a financial issue with them because he’s only on loan. Anyhow good luck Ben and welcome.

She’s struggled of late with the gender reform bill and independence importance said to be down to 45% with the Scottish people, I think like a few politicians after several years in charge she has simply run out of road. It’s probably time they had a fresh start as leader.

So you are really not up to date or properly informed because you choose not to watch. Guess your posts on the subject mean nowt and are meaningless then. Fair enough, move on.

What about a set number of reviews of VAR per team per game?, in cricket teams are allowed so many reviews per innings then once they are used up then that’s your lot. Plenty of teams asking refs about the validity of a decision and then VAR is used, perhaps three per game and then you have no more left to question the ref?. Just a thought.

Thing is with cricket les, they have umpires call which is non negotiable and quite right too. In football they will say to a ref, ” in retrospect go back and have a look at this for a penalty “, different interpretation of how the technology works in football compared to cricket. The cricket version of how it’s interpreted and used is far superior to football because the initial interpretation of umpires call isn’t questioned.

The Premiership is stuffed with clubs as pretentious and pampered to hell, VAR is the result of moaning and groaning about poor refereeing decisions over many years and in particular some of the bigger powerful clubs not being satisfied with ” their lot ” all the time. VAR was going to be the bees knees but it’s turned out to be total crap, goal line technology withstanding. If they had come to a common sense approach about the interpretation of offside when VAR was first launched, none of this would be happening, it’s entirely of their own stupid making.

Seems like the new manager doesn’t rate O’Malley which is a bit unfortunate.

There’s a player there but he’s had a poor season. Probably 3rd choice left back at the minute.

Thing is Cliff, is he a left back, seriously? He’s never shown any real defensive quality IMO, going forward, putting in a decent cross, yeah he shows promise but he’s never good enough defensively surely?

I think it’s a wait and see TBH, players develop at different ages and he’s still only a kid, he may come good eventually.

Once again it’s not the technology at fault but the interpretation of the law by different officials on the day monitoring it and yesterday an on field referee not paying attention to what he was actually seeing. For something that was designed to make the game fairer and decision making easier it’s just turned into a complete bag of bollocks.

Well it seems pretty obvious he’s come in to be the new number one keeper, for all sorts of reasons.

Pity Hallam hasn’t gone for good, it’s a shame for the lad but enough is enough, he will never be fit enough on a regular basis to be any sort of asset to us as a player.

Think Gallimore might end up at the Cods, his Dad played for them and playing for Cleethorpes will be easier for them to keep tabs on him. He only came here as a kid because our set up for youngsters was a lot better then Grimsby back then, not sure if that’s the case now.

As i pointed out in my earlier post probabaly wrong about the former FL clubs now in the NLN .. i was.

I never knew Boston Utd Soutport and BPA had been in the FL … never to old to learn.

Rember driving up to Southport in the mid seventies for a Friday night game, we drew 1-1 and Graham Collier scored for us, any old timers remember him?
