Got to disagree on one point Pat, Wonderloaf has been managing on X-box for years now, he knows his stuff mate.
The only think I keep seeing is from 12 years ago, WTF it’s 2023 bridge dweller, nothing to see here move on now, I’m sure you have poison to spread elsewhere.
You’ve gone crusty and stale over the years, where has your freshness gone?
Trip trap trip trap there you go again.
You missed out the word ” some ” in front of Scunny fans Cliff but I agree with you, however Wonderloaf would vehemently disagree with you 😂
IB do you live under a bridge and have a keen interest in Billy goats? I suspect you do.
IB will get back to you when he’s typed up some more bullshit for you all to absorb.
Should have kept Jarvis on this season’s showing, he’s just knocked in a hat trick for Torquay. Remember him getting plenty of stick from some last season.

Far worse than that LESGEO.
We are up the creek without a paddleEvidence?
I can’t recall an interview where he stated we never had a chance, can you send the link?
I wasn’t quoting ad verbatim.
Which means basically, “that’s bollocks then”. Your right again Cliff.

For us older ones with longer memories I’d put Dickie Rooks in any top 5 all time worst Iron managers, oh my days what a melon.

Cox ,Hill, Daws, and Wilcox.?
If Hill has anything it’s as a racconteur; Cox is alright, Daws spoke quite well and Wilcox too. There’s no comparison.
Hill and Cox should have been nowhere near the managers job !
Wilcox – not particularly inspiring but the players liked him.
Daws – one temp manager option too many.McAtee didn’t like Wilcox, wouldn’t play for him if you all remember.
From Interested Bystander to Inspector Clueso … YCMTSU
To misquote Darth Vader ” the bullshit is strong with this one “.
You are perfectly entitled to your opinion Wonderloaf but I believe your response entirely vindicates my previous post.

I’m sure both the Christians mentioned on here would benefit from a cool bottle of Bud and a little chill out time together.

And in the case of Dean the clamour to get rid of him is unprecedented even for our fans. Definitely something in the air we breathe.
I believe there is just a lack of patience with some clamouring for Deans head, we have won games under him, the Wealdstone win was a really good all round performance but there has been a real lack of consistency overall. Loan players, changing players around and muddled tactics have unsettled some supporters but for me it’s about getting a balanced squad in place for next season and letting JD settle in to the role with a squad he believes in. I’ve always said we were down before he arrived even with Nelson in charge, we have been clinging to the wreckage of a broken club for five seasons and David Hilton or Jimmy Dean are not miracle workers. The comments about them I believe are a throwback to a basic distrust in the previous owner which LBH has festered amongst us all for a long time. Be patient people, it’s a long road back but we need stability, plus a complete restructuring of the club if we are to survive and we have to hang in there and let the new people in charge do their jobs. Having a couple of fake accounts continually spouting conspiracy theories and spouting shite on here doesn’t help but most sensible supporters will recognise what their agenda is anyway. Yes pass comments, give opinions, you are all entitled to do that but let your foot off the throats of the people now trying to push us forward and until actual facts surface about how the club has been purchased and being guided and is proven to show some wrong doing, then just keep supporting everybody involved in Scunthorpe United. UTI.

You are not us thank goodness, we are allowed to pass comment on such matters as we please thank you. No experts on here mate not even thee.

You just need a correctly worded statement agreed by the people running the game then Cass to give you that confidence, it’s always the finer points of detail that screw people over when it should be straightforward if done in the correct way.
Reads like your being divisive DM 😂
After giving Hilton a good kicking verbally on here about several aspects of how he’s doing so far running the Iron, I presume this is SS’s version of an olive branch, Hilton must be beside himself with gratitude.😂

Get the point DM but that doesn’t mean the situation you describe has to be set in stone surely when regarding sponsorship. A strategy for academy funding with all points itemized what the sponsorship money will go on regarding the academy could be drawn up between club and sponsor any deviation from the plan by the club should see them fined and the money plus the original amount agreed put into the academy funding package. It can be done if the clubs the EFL and FA get their respective fingers out for once and do the right thing. It’s the games future we are discussing not how other parts of a football club is funded and anyway all clubs should strive for a sustainable plan to be viable.
He’s such a tease that God, says one thing then the complete opposite, what’s a poor atheist to do?

You would have thought the commercial side of the club would be drumming up financial support from local business regarding the academy, I mean it’s not rocket science for them to be doing their job in all aspects to help the entire club run better and be better funded surely 🙅
Have you watched the latest IronArmy podcast, most of the above get a mention very early on, fame at last guys, well done.
We don’t know if he’s on 1500 a week, it’s a rumour yeah?
Maybe Sanfran or maybe the announcement was the catalyst for the academy staff to come up with a viable plan, you know get them thinking outside the box for a change ( not a pun on long range shots on goal BTW ). Either way it appears to show the new owner is a lot more flexible in his thinking and approach to problem solving then the previous one and is obviously prepared to listen to others at the club, surely that’s a good thing, isn’t it 🤔
Rebellion against the “God breathed” words in the Holy Bible only leads to chaos and misery.
Thou shalt not kill, all aboard the Ark, not you though.
I presume the Unicorn’s must have sinned TW, if you’ve sinned your outta here.

The Oldham owner comes across really well, normal honest chap doing his best. Liked his dismissal of the word ” fans”, it’s supporters or nowt lad. Safe travelling on your motorbike sir. Good job Gareth 👍
Academy saved now, viable business plan in place plus support from the Chairman, I’m guessing the doom mongers will be grumbling about something though. Well done to the new owner for listening and considering a workable plan, not like the previous guy whosw word was law whatever others thought.
