Some will always have a permanent downer on the club whoever owns it, just how some people are I guess.
Plenty of tomatoes and salad in Lidl this morning and if they run out then you just get on with it. It will be annoying to some but it’s hardly a disaster, the missed items will turn up eventually.
Can’t ask anymore from the guys but a battling display against a top side and when the officials help them out as well, let’s just say we move on with greater resolve then ever.

If an investor is settled and happy with whichever part of the ground they occupy at present, do they have to up sticks and move to the east stand?
No just give them the money and carry on as normal, I’m sure both parties will be perfectly happy with that.
Well Wrexham get a penalty at home, what a surprise. 😲😂

February 21, 2023 at 12:27 pm in reply to: liars ,what do they get out of it and why do idiots follow them? #255923Some in our society have become uncaring and cruel beyond belief, unfortunately social media is a very convenient place for them to hide. As for sections of the press, was it ever thus though some will say they are only doing their job. I believe every job has boundaries and the press should respect those boundaries when these sort of unfortunate incidents occur.
I think the sheer enthusiasm of Jimmy during and in particular after the match, coming all around the field, not just part of it, pumping his fists in celebration of a great win and applauding the fans, is just great. Aren’t these the sort of actions the majority have been waiting for in a manager? Remember all the observations around some of the last few mangers, the Knills, the Robins, the Hills, stood there arms folded showing no passion in the dugout or on the touchline, well none of that appears to apply to Jimmy. I think he’s a breath of fresh air, long may this feeling continue.

First time in years we have a strong bench for the level we are in so there is plenty of rotation possibilities there and within the squad as a whole. Think Jimmy will be giving it a good go against Wrexham because winning games is our only option to survive in this league now, so go for it Jimmy and if we get beat then keep going for it till the season is done.

This is a wind up right 🤔😂
When did we have two full backs in the same team with excellent long throws? Everton-Richards came up a couple of times in the second half when Ogle launched two of his ” rocket” throws into the Dagenham box from the East Stand side. Good as some corners and we must utilize these guys throwing potential with the height and power we now have in the team be it big strong centre backs or the big guy up front ( when fit ) causing mayhem in the opposition area

Echo reason acknowledged and point agreed with 😂
Good job we have a big enough squad now to cope then Rene.
Yeah but in their defence Pat it’s just a wind up, apparently 🙄

“Scunthorpe till I die”- then what?
Then nothing, just blackness and a fading memory for the ones left behind. That’s why you have to enjoy your footy now. UTI.
…and your not a wind up merchant of course, if you thought your last post was funny….well says it all really.
Iron Age, is there an echo in here in here in here.🤔
Heard outside ( only speculation ) that McDonagh got a knock in training, also heard more interestingly, that Fewster has gone back. Don’t quote me but it’s strange he’s played a part game as sub against Barnet then doesn’t even get in the squad. Have to say I hope he’s not injured aswell.
Butterfield given a free role today and ran the show, what a player at this level and a thoroughly deserved win from a very entertaining game.

The last line in your original post was unnecessary Awaywego, yeah you are after one of your cheap shot jokes as per norm but it lowers the opinion you are giving to schoolboy level, just behave yourself, remember your a grandad.

We should run all our railways like the Japanese and Germans do, we have learned nothing over the years when it comes to running public transport efficiently.

To quote Buck’s, ” more misogynistic mayhem from the usual suspects ” 😂
With a fortnight’s training and tactics with Elliott here, surely you don’t leave out a guy with 22 goals in 41 games last season?, not if you want to attack and win games, which Dean undoubtedly will be doing. They are in a bad patch right now, go out and smash them, show proper intent, it’s what the club needs and the fans want to see.

Just shows what happens when you nail your political colours to the mast and yet pass yourself off as a serious news broadcaster. Fox News is nothing more then a right wing propogandist channel masquerading as a genuine news channel, their hypocrisy is astonishing and they have been lying continually to the American people for many years. Trouble is they, along with Trump and many in the GOP, have convinced a large section of the GOP voting base that they are correct. Big trouble comimg for Fox with this $2.7 billion dollar lawsuit being pursued by Dominion, the voting machine company Fox spread lies about after the 2020 election, the courts are coming down heavily on Fox in the early exchanges and Hannity has already admitted in court under oath that he thought Trump was lying, funny, he didn’t say that in his broadcasts to the nation at the time. Sit back with your popcorn and enjoy all you right wingers.

Certainly since Nelson first took charge there was definitely a change of emphasis on how the team played. More on the front foot with more attacking intent and I don’t see this changing under Jimmy Dean, he’s been brought in to win as many games as possible and his track record shows that he sets his stall out to win every game. Let’s be right here, there is no point in doing anything else now is there guys.

Think your right Sidey and that takes some doing, bloody hell.
Yep plenty of choice as everybody is saying, looks like Shrimpton has been hung out to dry then!, cass withstanding of course.
Ended up in a large function room where we were offered hot or cold drinks and snacks for which we weren’t asked for payment. As we tucked into our tea and sandwiches we realised the staff thought we were BPA “executives”!
Did they think one of you was John Helm?
More like John Helmet, the old porn star.
