Should be. Wont be. he hasn’t got the money
Are you one of the trolls DH was referring too in his interview, genuine question, you are what you are I guess.
Given most the things this poster had been saying for the last week have now been confirmed as being true, Ì’d suggest the clue is in the poster name. Add to that, Hilton confirmed the trolls are from Bury, I think you’ve got this wrong.
Did you miss the part of the DH interview where he said he had to show proof of funds before he entered into buying the whole shooting match, including the land and ground, that’s the point I was making DM. Look if DH can’t stump up the money when required I will hold my hands up, if he can and does, who is the troll? I believe I’m making a fair point.
This is not to say we shouldn’t be sceptical of Hilton, and I have put forth my own concerns, but we can’t write him off just yet.
The new club owner of barely three months must be heartily relieved he isn’t being written off just yet. FFS
What is so preposterous about my statement when people like Rene seem determined to write him off and have done since day one?
If your going to use Rene as your yardstick that’s another FFS from me Sidey.

As Captain Mainwaring once said, ” stupid boy “.
Need to play Edwin Starr over the PA before the game and again at half-time.😎🎸
Did you get a rise NI?
Only when Mrs NI puts all the gear on for his birthday treat.🌋😜

Will be an interesting test case for what is coming further down the line, you will have to provide your own popcorn though.
March 31, 2023 at 7:19 pm in reply to: Swann still owns GP,team and club being run out of Ilkeston? #258356” being run out of Ilkeston “, shades of the gay cowboy riding into town and shooting up the sheriff. 😂
I’m keen to take up that offer of having a look round Ilkeston Town. Was hoping he’d give me a guided tour. Patrick! Patrick! Patrick! Where’s he gone??
Has he gone back to DH for his next briefing 🤔😂
What’s this Brassy, asking questions then answering them yourself? Clever stuff mate 😂
You haven’t been able to get a bet on Scunny staying up since at least the start of February and a bit before then I should reckon.
No never had sky or BT or whatever subscription channels there are out there, just pay my licence like most folk and put up with Lineker and Co on a Saturday night, accompanied by a fine malt so it’s not all bad 🥃

They are laughing their cocks off at us
Surely you mean fins or possibly scales 🤔
They won’t be because they are the darlings of the media, City get slammed in the press and their financial spending is deemed unfair but their owner could match any of their debts many times over due to his vast personal wealth. Financial fair play wouldn’t have been thought of if Man U, Arsenal and Liverpool were still the big boys winning most trophies most seasons but there not the leading trophy winners now in terms of volume over the last few seasons hence the fair play rule invention. No time for any of em really because the ethos of the game went out the window when the Premier League was formed and the game became all about money. It will never change until a time the Government of the day brings in proper financial regulations governing football and that won’t happen whilst capitalism is God and the pigs keep feeding in the money trough.
March 30, 2023 at 4:04 pm in reply to: Yet another…’what have you been listening today?’ Thread #258261I was too impatient DM, turns out Hole In The Ground was the next you tube video after RSF. Your genius knows no bounds.
NI, perhaps plan B stands for blown it?

That’s why 1899 was launched, the gambler will be waiting a long time for his payout.
He’s bloody clueless
Listening figures down on the podcast SST, sounds like your touting for business🤔.
The new owner mentioned getting new training facilities built from his first day here, were you sleeping or just not listening 🤔
Unbelievable how naive some people have been regarding the new manager and what he could achieve in the timescale allowed after four consecutive seasons of failure due to underfunding. The club has been in terminal decline since Swann pulled the financial plug and we haven’t bottomed out yet. Get your heads in gear and stop talking crap about this situation FFS, everybody needs to be realistic about where we are heading, another new manager my arse.

Get your coat Jimmy!!
I’d take Nelson (bit of a gamble which would be less so had we given him time) or go after my original choice of Craig Elliot currently performing miracles at Buxton in the NLN.
😂😂😂 What you actually believed we were staying up when JD arrived?, grow up.

Are you related to Einstein Rene?
Stefan Broccoli is a baller!
He needs 5 minutes in a steamer to soften him but will leave him with a nice crunch, then serve with butter, mmmmm.
I prefer enthusiastic puppies, old dogs tend to be a bit droopy.
Pert and frisky cass, works every time.
TBH DM I reckon Rene feels more at home in ga ga land, his natural environment I believe.

With Jimmy rearranging the deckchairs!
Then realising over half were missing because Ernest had sold them before the voyage started, quality deckchairs that is.
