This particular indictment will probably come to very little, a fine at most but it’s the fact that a DA has actually taken the step to indict a former President ( which is unprecedented) that’s the key. It can now pave the way for further indictments for at least two, possibly three more serious indictments about attempting to defraud an election, instigating the January 6th riot ( also described as a coup in some quarters of the USA ) and also the retention of classified documents at his Florida residence after he’d left office and the fact he had to be forced to give these up by the FBI after refusing to do so voluntarily. Should be fun times ahead for all newshounds and casual observers of American politics.

Spot on Cliff, didn’t DH say in his interview parts of the club were still being run like it was in the Championship, hence the players wages as a percentage of the entire staff bill being considerably lower. Things have to change big time after such a stupid unsustainable roller coaster ride under the previous owner, yes it’s sad, yes it hurts but it’s the reality of running a club like Scunthorpe United in a more manageable way and not a suicide mission.

Yes and he’s still saying that in the interview but that the details on the ground plus land take time to resolve, which sounds reasonable to me and it will be concluded soon and he has proof of funds to complete when all the legal paperwork is sorted. Until there comes a time when it’s announced that he’s not buying the land or ground because of lack of funds then the benefit of any doubt should surely lie with the person who now owns the football club. Anything else is no more than a conspiracy theory. So are there many Donald Trump types hiding in the Iron fan base then?

I appreciate your point DM but iron insider wasn’t asking a question when he made the comment about DH and his lack of funds was he? Just saying and your right about conspiracy theories but let’s be right, on here there are quite a few mixed in with genuine questions that are always worthy of a considered response when asked. We move on but next season should provide us all with a clearer view between fact and fiction on Scunthorpe United FC and it’s future.
