“Lol, when is an ambition not personal?!” good point.
I assume most people join a party to help bring about a society they would like, he did it to try be an MP ,It’s not a starting ambiton I want in an MP.lol historic whatabouery,it’s a new thing I guess.
it’s a story about Blair trying to be mates with powerful people including Putin and US presidents. But I’ll take the Putin thing if he feels it’s relevent.Blair the great spilled the beans on his motives on a recent documentary when he told about how he went to parliament as a kid and decided that day he wanted to be an MP,showing that his only ambiton ever was personal. that aside he did some good things but owed too many favours to bad people like Murdoch
“and then I asked A dosser if he was in business”2 users thanked author for this post.
If I mention Blair ,it’s whatabouery ,even if I don’t follow on a thread with it to try and deflect? That makes no sense.
what are you on about?,this “archived” came up today when I went on the BBC. It appears you don’t like your lying backstabbers pals being critiqued
you’ll have to explain why Today’s story about Blair on the BBC is whataboutery,it doesn’t follow on from ay other topic at all. It’s about Blair’s need to be a statesman above all else. Not sure it follows as whatabotery on any topic w’re discussing, which in my opinion has to be part of “whataboutery”
one who just got sent off for cheating?
My mother in law has just spent the last 6 hours waiting for an ambulance,is being told she’ll be sat in an ambulance at the hospital for hours when she arrives ,if she ever gets an ambulance that is . .She’s suffering and in immense pain. Cheers Bucks ,it’s what you voted for ,I bet you’re so proud of your party .No doubt toasting every moment of suffering with a glass of paupers tears, shaken not stirred.
I’d just been listening to it on a big black disk when you posted this.
No other singer paints a picture like John Prine.
tghis one tickles me because I saw it not long after seeing a video of some right wing BNP types haranguing Billy in Barking for being ” A failed musician” and congratulating each other as if they’d been so clever. here is the failed musician with two of the very best out there.
here’s john too

they do not have sufficient funds,so it’s a financial decision I don’t want Simon losing everything he’s worked for ,the emotive stuff is a given but you need money and walking away and letting the club die would be a prudent gamble. We’re getting relegated anyway so a new club lower down with 2.5k fans and ready made league standard ground is very attractive proposition.

“Is that because you thought it meant leave things as they are/were?” no
I’d run a mile from it in their shoes

No,I thought that the “party of business” might actually protect bysinws when all the dust settled.I have despised thexEU since my teens and was glad to finally get out as wevecduscussedca myriad teams, even putting up with being labelled racist by lefty ,so called moderates.Blair using EU as an excuse to let manufacturing businesses die didn’t help my mood in my adult years
Why shouldn’t I,? They did a bad job of it and went into negotiation in bad faith.I have every right to complain
So he also wants us to take the loan on when it is nothing to do with the new owners, if you bought a car etc on a loan I always thought if you exchanged the car you cleared the debt before the transaction not pass it on to someone else.
Nobody is saying that
I did vote leave
The interest alone would explain why Swann can no longer fund us
All the directors of the lender are from an accountancy firm not a bank and the lending firm has little or no online presence
Where is the money going ?
Crowds have held up reasonably well so how on earth do we lose 90k a month if we were meant to be sustainable going into this year.
Wasn’t all debt wiped off with the stadium transfer?
We still owe the football league a sum, low crowds running an operation of several dozen empoyees isn’t cheap, much of the crowd is season ticket and a lot fo the season we were employing quite a rentamob from security comapanies, which wouldn’t be cheap
“If he handed SUFC over for £1 let the club play at least one season until we had time to build elsewhere then I would offer nothing more than silence against his antics (certainly no sympathy)”
the price isn’t the problem,it’s the 90k a month black hole that isAny idea why we didn’t give notts county and chesterfield more tickets to bring more money in to lessen the burden?
You weren’t very supportive when I suggested that.
If they owe HMRC,they get firstb refusal on all funds,so had they nopened the side bit to get on what,£4k that would be HMRC cash,so nothing to pay the extra stewards and policing costs?
The Irony being, the way to become a Baron or knight is give the Torues money
A union is a political thing, especially when governments are part of the negotiating, uts defacto a political dispute.
I even saw That Tory idiot Braverman in parliament accuse n opposition MP od playing politics while asking azquestion parliament FFS Playing politics seems to be their new attempt at shutting down debate ,negotiation, etc and in its wake goes our democracy piece by piece.Every thing wec havec today is because people fought for our rights. These unions
and protestors are all hated by Tories because they live in a bubble when all they told is unions and protestors are bad by rich people and Russian(tory pay lords),one even employed the ex chancellor as editor , who own and run our papers from tax havens. But that’s OK.Try and get a fair deal for workers and you,re a baron etcGurnelista- “Are you in favour of the death penalty,Bill?
BPG – “Death penalty for who?”
You’re in favour or not,its yes or no ,answer the question and stop avoiding it. If its for osticular crimes you favour ,the answer is yes.Its a yes or no question.
You either don’t answer or copy and paste some odd scripture that means nothing..It would surely be a great relief to him and to any who have made unjustified comments on Bru who will then welcome having the opportunity to apologise.
I bet those who recieved solicitors letters for pointing out how the club was being run would lead to this ,causing great worry about whether you could afford to get into a legal fight and maybe even lose homes, won’t get an apology.
Trust me at £500 a pop legal letters can start adding up and if you ben to demands you could lose a fortune,.I’ll have no sympathy in that regard Les1 user thanked author for this post.
I do feel that had we not had a racist internet in negotiations, these problems would not be occurring.Alll these claims about what people voted for to cover for the fact they went in with fingers crossed behind their backs taking us for idiots. We voted to leave the EU,many people had varying reasons yet we went in expecting nothing to change while giving nothing back in return. Imagine how different our relationship Europe would be if we’d relaxed a bit on free movement
Personally I don’t care,I will when we go back in.I care about my own corrupt government voted in be evil people who back their policies designed to make sufferers suffer more and even trying to equate Nurses with Pugtin.

And there I was thinking Swann read this board every day, Deerey. I’d say you’re the one who needs a reality check.
He used to,as far as I know since it was locked with signing in he hasn’t
