There seems to be a healthy degree of scrutiny on the keepers given Butler’s pre-season comments about Campbell and that he would ‘sink or swim’. It’s quite obvious to anyone with eyes that neither keeper we have is good enough or on a par with the quality of the rest of the squad.

Rory’s continued mistakes invite more scrutiny each week from fans and opposition managers and scouts alike. It’s fair to say he had a dreadful game against Carlisle, aerially and with his kicking.

Let’s hope the club come up with a solution before it becomes a real crisis.

He’s not wrong though is he? Campbell is crap, and clearly not good enough for this level.

Spot on Wondergoals. Watson has never been and will never be a professional goalkeeper. Abysmal once again. There’s a reason he’s called Dracula.

Another pr own goal by the club.

Why on earth haven’t they chosen an impartial party to host this thing?

It seems Iron Hour have been taken in by the opportunity to stooge for the club, the same as they were with Hilton.

It does seem to bring their integrity into question once again.

Hosting official club events, featuring in the promo video for the failed and quite dangerous FC100k farce as well as the their support of David Hilton.

I’m surprised the club have had Barra back really, given all his inappropriate sex jokes while hosting the last SUFC quiz night! Kids were present!

Campbell fumbled another two clangers against Spennymoor, thankfully only one went in the net!

Have you sustained a head injury Awaywego? Do you need medical attention?

Awaywego you are miles off it again. Check the confirmation statement on Companies House, quite clear to see Michelle owns more shares than any other board member.

It’s good to see the Trust put some pressure on the club to answer questions regarding fundraising.

I can’t see them going for the share builder though, there’s no way the board members will want to reduce the amount of shares they have. I see it as a non starter unfortunately.

The only thing Watson is proven at in the league is shipping goals for fun. There’s a reason he’s only played 14 games since he left us in 2022.

There is certainly some concern coming out of the club at the minute including that of the behaviour of certain board members.

I doubt many have seen him play in any of the 14 competitive games he’s been involved in since he left us in 2022, apb.

The kits are still in China. It was supposed to be revealed today, alas, it now sounds unlikely.

Another clanger from Campbell tonight. I make that at least one in every pre-season game. We need a replacement.

Totally agree with the OP. We desperately need an experienced keeper. Campbell is a disaster waiting to happen. Looked shaky last night, passed the ball directly to their striker within 5 minutes and fumbled a couple of efforts. Not looking good.

We didn’t spend a large chunk on Beestin.

Going with Campbell as no.1 is a huge concern, Rory Watson all over again.

So Stuart took a step back to hide from the heat after being caught out tweeting teenagers naughty things and Jerry has already jumped ship.

Jerry has used his brain at least, it was quite clear to see he was being unfairly manipulated by members of the Unity Group committee from early on.

Another committee member, Paula Jane Hickson, has seemingly embarrassed herself with an exchange with an Iron fan on the same thread. It’s not looking good is it?

Alarming behaviour from the club if true. Doesn’t the Trust donate these kind of moneys to the club in shares anyway?

It seems the club are in the process of instigating another pr own goal. There are some thickos on the board for sure if they think it’s a good idea to attack the Trust. Does money raised from the new online store not go to the club anyway?

Have you sustained a knock to the head Awaywego? Money raised by the Trust is used to purchase shares in SUFC. How is that taking money from the club?

If you’re a Matlock fan, listen to this and seek out information regarding the fraud David Hilton and his association with Scunthorpe United, it was a complete disaster. His tenure involved lying, bullying, banning fans, lies and the intention to kill a 125 year old football club.

I fear for the future of Matlock Town. Mr Harrison speaks well and out of love for his former club. If David Hilton takes control they are well and truly knackered. A conman, a fraud and a charlatan who almost killed Scunthorpe United. If Matlock fans are reading this; do not vote for this man he is lower than a snake’s belly and an absolute scumbag.

Let’s not forget Stuart called fans who resisted Hilton ‘parasites’, as well as soliciting teenage girls for nudes on Twitter.

I can’t imagine a worse advert for a fanbase than this dummy-spitting, dirty old man. You reap what you sow.

So all this Unity shite was just about Stuart Maw FC all along. What a self-serving vile creature he is. I’m amazed his wife stayed with him after his naughty tweets to teenagers!
