Kevin Kilmore – not a fave but the earliest one I remember seeing play
185 miles and 4 1/2 hours to Maidenhead.
800 tickets available.
Estimates on how many we will take?Maidenhead? That’s Bucksiron’s manor, if I recall correctly? Wonder if he’ll be going?
So much Divine Comedy to choose from I-A. I’d go for this uplifting number from a few years back. Daft video to accompany it:
Yes, or a Leeds version of him Gurnelista? I believe they hail from there
Just need a decent goalpoacher or two then.

It’s an HBO drama series on NOW / Sky (oddly given the shows premise). As a lot of these series’ do, it will probably migrate to a different subs channel at some point. You might get to see it if it ends up on Prime. I think you can get a 7 day free trial of NOW btw. You just need to make a note to cancel before the 7 days is up. I know a few people who’ve binge watched Succession and quit the subs before they kick in:
The standard of Counties level isn’t outstanding either of course, but once you accept the difference in quality there are still great games to watch, particularly if you’re backing one team over another.
Love this track and video starring David Thewlis. There’s a new version featuring Elton John which is still good but more polished production wise and loses the edge of this version I think:

Best, most enjoyable and entertaining satirical series in the last few years, IMO. If you haven’t seen I think you’d love it.

Nothing about the real reasons he was forced to resign. Bpg, you may well agree with it given your previous posts:
If you’ve ever wondered just how misleading Fox News can be, watch what their viewers have been told about why Boris Johnson has resigned as Prime Minister:pic.twitter.com/iOSWnUnHqb

Sam Winnall still a free agent.
A big drop for him and a high wage expected? 5 goals in his last season for Oxford not great but at our level could smash it. At 31 he’s presumably looking for those last big pay days I guess? Would rule us out.

I really don’t like change, one of my all-time sporting hero’s mo Farah changes his story from being a refugee to now being a modern day slave, lying bastard, lied to get his British citizenship get him on that first plane to Rwanda. Watched him being interviewed on so many tv programmes telling us lie after lie, unless of course the BBC paid him load of Dosh to beef his life story up a bit for tomorrows documentary, give me Swanny any day not told as big a porkies as Mo.
Powerful post awaywego. Your pain over being let down so spectacularly by one of your all time sporting heroes really comes through. I know we rarely agree on topics but I want you to know support groups are out there who can help you get over this. And if you ever see it in your heart to forgive Mo, here’s a fitting charity combatting modern slavery that you can donate too. Chin up.
Looked okay in the few games i saw him in. Hopefully stays fit
Yes. Good signing for this level 👏

There was another excruciating conference delivery from her on the net once but I can’t find that one.
Thought she’d stepped down?

I can see at least 3 in that list that a handful pf posters on here might take issue with. sadly.
Excellent performance. Norway were shockingly bad though. Have they been taking tips from us?
Ride a white Swann? Sorry UTI99 has left the forum!
Really?
Definitely a good professionally made promo video, wonder if any of the people in it were actual Accrington fans?
Very unlikely I would think.
At least you appreciated the sarcasm in this post awaywego.🤣
Did you actually watch the video? Do you think they’d run the risk of getting actors or non-fans off the street to appear on it and getting found out?? As I said earlier, bonkers. 😅🤣
‘Are you someone Deerey who just reads the headlines of a story but not the whole article? Even at my first viewing I could see all the diversity’
What on earth are you talking about? You have a problem with the video. No one else does, expect a few other posters who are sympathetic to your views. You’re clearly viewing things like this with an agenda. Those without an agenda won’t even notice there’s an issue. Because there isn’t one. What an odd mindset to be watching everything with ‘PC police’ specs on!
True. My comment was directed towards the few who have complained, not those like Pat. :-)
Thought it was pretty obvious tbh
Very strange mentality of some posters on here, from some picking holes in a celebratory club promo video because there’s women and someone with a disability in it, and others who thank that type of post and others who take it as a warning not to watch it. Funny, now I think about it, I didn’t even notice how many women were in it on first viewing, or that there was someone with a disability in it. I posted it as a good example of a professionally made promo video that I couldn’t see SUFC doing under the current regime, merely because the club is rotten to the core. Comments I made afterwards regarding inclusivity and equality were in response to those comments from awaywego knocking it. Bizzare how quickly the anti-woke mob quickly find faults where they don’t exist and take up arms. Though judging by the comments made in the past, it’s not that surprising. Flip it on it’s head and I can foresee a situation whereby awaywego and cohorts are down at GP with a clipboard, counting how many women and people with disabilities are about to appear in a new Iron promo video, and shouting ‘stop!! One is too many!! Where will this madness end!!!’ 🤣
True, there’s only one person, with a few posters thanking, that seem to be getting worked up by certain people included in a football club promo video. Bonkers. ‘Where will it all end’ indeed.

So you’re saying the club’s doing well with its equality policy? Make your mind up 🤣
Did i not say the match day commentator was a man and Mrs two got her way? I am only highlighting what is going on in society ( maybe not the right word). I could have been shot down in flames if during this tournament there were more men than women pundits but I am sure you can all see I was right, it’s not as though it’s the first time I have pointed this out, some or all might be ok with this but I am not, end all this political correctness and diversity especially in football, the knee, rainbow flag and lace day and of course the “me too”.
You, and anyone else who’s frequently offended by the promotion of equality at SUFC can always take it up with the club. There’s a complaint procedure – here’s the clubs equality policy that you might want to reference and point out the things you want to end with immediate effect. Let us know how you get on:
