Good to see the goals going in. Couldn’t be there today but did you manage to find out how much the grub was from the mobile chippy awaywego? Mate told me it was £6.50 for sausage chips and gravy. The sort of figure, if not a little more, that I was saying I paid for decent food at a few non league grounds last season. You had me down as a gobshite though if I recall? Listened to a lot of Talking Heads again recently reading Chris Frantz’s autobiography. Always been a big fan of the earlier years, first 4 albums, Fear of Music my fave. A real shift forward in composition and production.

Totally agree, it’s about the competition for me too. I enjoyed the Counties games I saw last season far more than watching the Iron in recent years. I know a lot of male friends who love the men’s game but haven’t got time for the women’s game; their call. I enjoy it. Maybe next season Iron matches will be more enjoyable again now we might have found our playing level?
