I’m hardly Wolfie Smith either (though I used to love Citizen Smith). Think you’ll find a poster like Fansy to fit your WS tag.
Definitely heard the original before but never the Primal Scream version. Prefer the original.
The move to a cashless society has got nothing to do with politics and certainly not ‘neo-Marxism’, it’s environment and technology led

Those freedoms aren’t being taken away by the left / neo-Marxists, they’re being taken away by the right. What world are you existing in Bpg? Because it bears no resemblance to reality! The irony is, it’s left leaning liberals who are trying to hang on to freedoms, justice and equality. You’ve got this all upside down.
…that’s what they said about Karl Marx, unfortunately! Let’s hope the intellectuals on here Deeryme66,JI,NI,Gurney etc have a more in depth reply.
It doesn’t merit a more in depth reply than Siderite has already given Bpg. And you may recall The influence of The Frankfurt School and Neo-Marxism was brought up by you a year or so ago. Historically there has been some influence on academia, but there’s also been a high number of thinkers and writers like Popper, Nietzsche, and more recently the likes of Jordan Peterson, who influence the right and far right. It’s simply unfeasible to claim there is some neo-Marxism plot or movement to control the World. It’s poppycock for at least two reasons. One, you can’t prove it infallibly, and two, survey the global political and cultural landscape, it’s more right wing than ever. If you were saying all this before the fall of the USSR and other communist regimes you may have had a point. Saying it now just demonstrates you’ve bought the whole faux culture war championed by the right, hook line and sinker. It feeds off fear and paranoia.
Okay JI, but I think you’ll find there’s plenty of empirical evidence out there to prove that Trump’s a grade A thicko. To be continued I guess. Anyway, genuinely pleased you’re contributing more consistently on here again. It’s good to talk 😀👍

“nice pair of tits to!!!.’ 🤣

A thing I find quite puzzling JI is that I appreciate you, bpg and others on here and millions of others champion someone like Donald Trump because you side with his political views, when the man is clearly very unintelligent. I’ve got that right haven’t I? Seem to recall you intimating Trump was your preferred POTUS in the past. Kind of what I’m getting at about you being an ideologue; prepared to accept a thicko with dodgy views because he has some views that correlate with your own?
Pardon?
‘The neo-Marxist regime will not stop there, misery and chaos will be the outcome, unfortunately.’
No offence intended Bpg, but personally i find that claim ridiculous
Just catching up after being away. Tbh JI, I think both you and Gurney are ideologues.
….think you’ll find the Biden administration is trying to fight the saving of millions of innocent babies lives ,due to the recent overturning of roe v wade.
The neo-Marxist regime will not stop there, misery and chaos will be the outcome, unfortunately.I’m actually quite surprised you liked ‘thanked’ that post JI. Come on man, get real
No reason not to start with same 11 on Sunday and save super sub Russo for an impact later on
Easily pleased Renee
To get more stayaways to purchase season tickets?

I hope a sale goes through quick too but in terms of the process it’s very early stages, as far as my understanding of buying a football club goes. Could well be wrong but I don’t think due diligence, terms and negotiating purchase agreement can start till after ratification. Don’t suppose the lawyers would be in a rush to reach completion and surely there’s a lot of detail to negotiate first? Though he does have an excellent track record of cordial relationships so yeah, probably be all sealed next week.
‘I mean what the hell were Bournemouth doing up there for awhile based on club size, fanbase and infrastructure’
They’re back there this season and by all accounts could be competitive. Don’t know how they’re managing that though.

Failsworth’s finest. Definitely a ‘play loud’ track…
Who knows? Possibly a little better very possibly worse. Guess I failed getting to extra marks territory?

I wouldn’t hold your breath. Even if ratified, there’s still the potential buyer’s due diligence to get through (I.e. checking through all the club’s financials and contracts etc), heads of terms to be negotiated and the purchase agreement drawn up and agreed. Knowing what we know about the seller, there’s every chance it may not be a smooth and fast ride. Oh, and if it doesn’t go smoothly, you know who’s fault it won’t be don’t you?

Much of the so-called ‘red tape’ is not uber bureaucracy, it’s rules and regulations to ensure quality of goods and protect workers from being exploited. Yet again, Tories like Truss are manipulating the truth for approval. ‘Britannia Unchained’ my arse!!!
‘No matter how you slice it, the problems warned about have come to fruition.’
Agreed Siderite, and those potential problems made total sense to a lot of us. They were just more realistic than much of the protectionist and breast beating rhetoric that came out of the Leave campaign. I suppose Leavers would still say Remainers were fearful snowflakes, but say you apply their logic to operating a business, you’re not going to succeed taking huge risks all the time and ignoring external factors. This is what Brexit means if you ask me. Doomed to fail.

Gurney, I think one ought to accept that there are / were a hell of a lot of people who had similar views on Brexit as Les, like JI for instance.
I don’t think Bru should have been allowed to be used as a UKIP marketing tool. Expressing one’s opinion is one thing, requesting others to become UKIP canvassers is quite another. It’s ethically wrong in my opinion.

What’s that she’s saying about de-regulating and removing red tape to help businesses flourish? BS, all that means is more business owners paying staff the least they can with fewer rights. Better hope she doesn’t get in, she’s a fruitcake.
Can you paste a link about Botham being one of the consortium please?
Was it the Posh junior team?
Who scored for them? Little Lord Fauntleroy?
Kitchens of Distinction.
