The game of course, how has non football crept in again?

Music always sounds loads better on holiday abroad IMO. Why is that? I don’t know. Leaving the shit, the everyday, the humdrum, feeling care free, tranquil, at one with the world. Yes, I am really enjoying my hols. 3 years in the making. F*** Covid

It’s become a tradition on mine whilst on hols to listen to the whole of Pretzel Logic and Aja on the balcony with a few ice cold beers and a fag on late at night. Not both albums on the same night mind, that’s just crazy. Planning to make a start on Pretzel Logic later. Happy days 😀

A favourite of alcazar’s video frenzy:

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-nottinghamshire-62393949

Can’t say I am shocked. I am sure it’s all a conspiracy and it can’t be because of his own actions.

Yes, heard it on the radio the other day. Can’t stand the divisive narcissistic t***. He gets what he deserves. Despicable man.

‘It begins more by a sense of need and searching for meaning’

Appreciate that sentiment JI. Personally I think the meaning is all here, in this world, not some hoped for transcendental realm reached by a leap of faith. And if more people accepted this is all there is, the world might be a better, more peaceful place.

‘I believe that Gods heart breaks at the pain that abortion causes in our society’

You’re clearly an intelligent chap JI, so it really does astound me how you can assume what a thing you can’t prove exists thinks and feels. Though I recognise you’re far from alone in this way of thought.

Not sure he made it sound simplistic. He said something like it could be done within 48 hours but then again much longer. I did say as far as I’m aware the fit and proper test is early stages, there may well be due diligence, terms and purchase contracts to negotiate and agree on. Based on HRH’s track record of dealing with other parties, it could take some time.

Never did reply to my response to you pointing out which States had made abortion illegal immediately after the ruling did you JI? You may have missed it but I suspect you chose not to acknowledge you’d got it wrong.

Surely WG wasn’t talking out of his posterior (and then backtracking!!).

Lol, at least you didn’t call him a t*** then complain about others swearing and report abuse. You wouldn’t do that would you?

‘Afraid’ in capitals doesn’t make anyone more afraid bpg, particularly if they’re not afraid at all. Are you afraid of nothing at all? I surmise some of the most fearful are Christians and those with right wing views, like on Bru; a number of posters have admitted to fearing change. They rage about diversity and inclusion and often admit, eventually, their fear of change is at the nub of it, and you end up thinking if that’s really the heart of the matter why have we bothered arguing the toss?

Bpg is right about this neo-Marxist plot to go cashless. Our club are clearly signed up to the conspiracy. Apparently, we’ve signed off on the Morning Star being sold outside every home game too. What looks like an attempt to get the community spirit back is obviously an attempt by lefty academics to infiltrate the club with Frankfurt School influences. Gotta watch these Commie bastards I tells ye!

    ‘Neil Wright
    I’m speaking to PS tomorrow

That was sent yesterday so it’s either positive news and he’s telling him it’s done or it’s fell through. I hope it’s the first scenario.’

Or it may just mean he’s speaking to PS?

Drop it in to a conversation when you’ve just gone out your way for something and she’s extremely grateful. It’s either going to work if you’re savvy, or go tits up if she’s got the measure of you
