There are many who aren’t, and it is rather prejudiced. Yes, I agree with all that. I can still understand why people do it though. It’s a bit of petulance borne out of frustration. Not clever and a sweeping generalisation, though I’m sure many who say it don’t actually mean it. I’ve realised over the last week or so, for entirely different reasons, just how much social media brings out the worst in communication. Less so much the ‘keyboard warrior’ stuff and more to do with, the more you’re engaged with it the more inward and internalised issues become. It’s really not healthy. The pandemic exacerbated social media usage and it seems to be worse than ever. Anyway, I digress. Just contextualising the use of broad brush insults and labels, as I see it.

Coincidentally, a friend of mine went to the Arcade Fire gig at the O2. Said they were very good. Unlike the venue. Used to play the first 2 albums a lot. Not keen on much they’ve done since then. Remember seeing them on the Other Staģe at Glastonbury many years ago and they were very underwhelming. Low volume, lacklustre. As headliners it was a bit of a let down
