Maybe he found out the cans were well past their sell by date? Bit like Swann’s tenure and a possible sale.
Hardly surprising though is it? Lunatics.
I’d have been surprised if you didn’t use the term ‘usual suspects’!

Probably got better things to do ;)
‘The Tory party cares very much about poorer people and claiming otherwise is not only completely wrong but also, quite frankly, offensive.’
Do me a favour 🙄🤣

Nice one mate. Always good to see women at men’s football matches. You’d be surprised, there’s at least one dino round these parts thinks they shouldn’t be allowed 🤣

The government and energy companies need to do more to inform people of switching to ‘time of use’ tariff.
‘You’re right there Ted…’
‘The destructive ideas of this philosophy is being played out.The Globalist worldview is capitalising on this turmoil and misery and chaos will ensue’
The first sentence is your opinion, no facts to prove it. The second sentence? Just as easy to say capitalism itself is going through a tough time as the older industrialsed order is replaced by the newer industrialised nations taking advantage of market forces and a globalised economy. Supposed ‘Neo Marxism’ has nothing to do with it. Materialism is driving it.
‘Supposedly clever stuff’. Sarcasm bpg. It’s not merely a spelling mistake either, you clearly think ‘permutate’ is an appropriate word to use in your argument. It’s not and it devalues your argument. It’s what teachers and lecturers would commemt on as ‘shoddy work, must try harder’. Better quality expected to convince your naysayers bpg. That is all. You’re not alone mind. This trait doesn’t recognise left or right it seems. A few of you should be minded to improve your diction. Thanks.
What an awfully mean spirited post. I’m sure all posters care about people who are suffering; no need to weaponise it. Saying the Tory Party doesn’t seem to give a fig about poorer people is very different from accusing you of it. You might refrain from taking it personally and lashing out?
And just to get the facts straight, one can only take advantage of doing the washing cheaper if you’re on a ‘time of use’ tarrif, and most people aren’t, so it’s a bit of a myth really that needs busting. Most people will not benefit from using high energy at 3am compared to 6pm:

No, I won’t take you seriously bpg, particularly as you seem to think you’re posting clever stuff but persistently use this strange word ‘permutate’ to make your case! If you mean ‘permeate’ at least use the correct word!
NI beat me to it; before I read his post in response to you bpg I thought, ‘hang on, surely what you preach is only needing God’s love to be truly happy?’.
That aside, it’s hard to take you seriously to any degree when you write stuff like this:
‘permutated through the universities over the last century that is the cause of our problems’.
Not least because it begs the question: what are you proposing, a move back to Victorian times?
‘Offering false, comforting answers to complicated problems and simple solutions based on lies and bigotry, has always been a way forward for the far right. It’s also been a business model like no other for Murdoch and company.’
Hmm, but would you disagree with the above bit JI? I can’t see anything there that’s not true.
I’m assuming with new ownership, more positivity and better relationship builders the club can attract more inward investment from sponsorship and other commercial revenue streams? You’d hope so anyway.

30 years more wait was only ever acceptable to the rich and super rich who have the luxury of idling away in honey while their nests get fatter and sod the rest of us who suffer the consequences. An almighty stink theý managed to hide from the majority of referendum voters.
I think the problem might be the way you tell ’em awaywego. Frank Carson, you are not!
‘Thanks to all who wished me well. Much appreciated. Had a ‘lump’ the size of an egg removed from my shoulder’
Wow, that’s a little more than ‘minor’ IMO JI! Sounds like it went OK though and wishing you well for continued recovery. I’m sure I can vouch for everyone when I say, despite our differences and arguments, none of us wish any ill on any other forum posters. Take care bud.

Siderite, nothing materialised after your intimation a few weeks back of a suggestion to improve discussion round these parts. I’m still intrigued as to what it was. Have you shelved it or might it make an appearance yet?
Yeah, you’re right again Bucks; not being allowed to buy food unless you’re fully vaccinated against Covid isn’t paranoia at all. You’re just being contrary for the sake of it now.

Wait till nearer election time and you might see and hear more about aspects of Labour, Party supporters and members don’t support. Here’s one anyway; I don’t agree with Starmer’s stance on PR.
‘Appear’ being the operative word Bucks. To you maybe. Blimey, there’s so much Tory government unpicking to be had there’s barely any space left for examining Labour in detail. And pretty pointless being the opposition Party. You know, not supposedly running the country like your buddies.
What’s so wrong with that bpg? JI has only recently acknowledged that he appreciated Gurney’s previous post regarding Brexit, even if he has a different perspective. Nothing wrong with being less tribal. Heaven forbid, it might actually be healthy?
Crikey, watched that once a while back (I think – not clicking on it). Not going back there!
Feckin liberty!
“Sorry sir,you can’t buy any food because you haven’t had your 50th covid jab yet.Go get it and your transaction will be accepted.”
It’s not going to happen bpg. It really is paranoia and a bit worrying. I would speak to someone trusted about it mate.

‘Bellend’ currently trending on twitter. Partly down to Sunak partly Rees Mogg:
If you were in any doubt of what a complete and utter bellend Jacob Rees-Mogg is, look no further than the date on his resignation letter. What a pretentious prick. https://t.co/JGbdz3xZrw

Raab back and Braverman tipped to be. Just musical chairs innit?
And so it goes…
