Has he worked with Sinclair, Nuttall and Pyke before?
Nuttall & Sinclair at Blackburn, Pyke at Rochdale.
Congratulations all 3. Plenty of research to be done before next season starts, will I still be able to rely on Scunthorpe 0 for regular points?
No doubt Will “I can spot a player” Swann will have half a dozen lame ducks lined up.
Hill wants to be in total control of recruitment so should ignore them unless told otherwise.
Lee might have one or two ideas that Hill finds acceptable but if potential new owners want their own man in charge can Hill be allowed any signings.1 user thanked author for this post.
Hill needs to bring in players he wants who will set standards and be a good influence on and off the training pitch.
He did that in January, most of the signings he had worked with previously.
Almost all of them let him down badly.4 users thanked author for this post.
Good players with a decent career history don’t become bad players overnight.
Unless they sign for Scunthorpe United of course!!4 users thanked author for this post.
We’ve wasted too much money by not playing some of the higher earners. Don’t suppose Taft, Jarvis & Perry are cheap. No idea what KDT is on but his cost per minute on the pitch must be massive!
“So who are these players that set the terrible culture?”
Could also include Kenyon, Davis, Manny, Hackney, Wood and some Hill recruits that have changed their attitude since working with him previously.
Told at Fans Forum that retained list out tomorrow I think.
If such a clause exists then I might have a theory.

“Speaking to BBC Humberside, Hill accused his players of a lack of professionalism, including turning up late”
The team that could have played yesterday:-
Watson – player of the year
Matheson – KH choice
Rowe – “He’ll always play for me”
Delaney – KH choice
Feeney – KH chouce
Grant – KH choice
Beestin – new 2 year contract
Bunn – “He’s an exceptional professional, and he’s someone I’ve got a lot of time for because he’s the right type of character and person. He can guide the young players and I’m really pleased for him.”
Sinclair – KH choice
Pyke – KH choice
Nuttall – KH choiceWould suggest that Hill’s recruitment is open to question.

I think you will have to wait for any new owners for a change of manager. I suspect Hill has been a success in some peoples eyes.
We haven’t, isn’t OG joint top goalscorer?
” .The majority of the kids who played today actually want to play for the club unlike the wage thieves who started most games this season but at the moment just aren’t good or experienced enough”
I’ll put on my tin hat before I say that IMO few, if any of them, will ever be good enough unless it’s in NLN. They lack the basic skill of being able to pass to a member of their own team.

What makes you think that the players he wants will want to come here, just asking.
Northampton might have something to say about the team we put out today. I seem to remember we moaned plenty when it happened to us.

Disagree. In order to get into the automatic promotion places BR need Northampton to lose (they can’t do anything about that) and overturn a goal difference of 5. They’ll surely be doing what they can and I’d hate Foster’s confidence to be absolutely shot to pieces. Rory is used to conceding plenty so it won’t bother him.

Exchange for Delaney I hope.

Can’t revert to GP, sponsorship money for naming rights will be essential for finances.

Britcon Ground?
Waltham Park?
Botham Stadium?
SVS for another 2 years?1 user thanked author for this post.

“Well we got what we expected, takes about 8.5 appearances to score a goal so is never going to be your main striker, your looking at 6 or 7 a season.”Would have been easily our top scorer this season with that return!!

Some strikers don’t even get a chance to be woeful in an Iron shirt.
Kelsey Mooney & Jonny Margetts spring to mind.2 users thanked author for this post.
Who did the least to try and prevent the relegation?
A. The Chairman
B. The Manager
C. The Players
Press your button NOW!!Easy to say, I’ll repeat my earlier post and await your response:-
“A potentially difficult situation if he’s contracted for next season. Can we move him on? Where to? Do we pay him to not play as we’ve done with KDT & Perry? Not a great use of resources when you’re on a limited budget is it.”

Apology on SUFC twitter, can we draw a line under this now and give the guy a chance to show he is genuinely sorry.

I’m glad posters are keeping some perspective and not touting him as a future England player after one game. Ridiculous.

I said at the time loaning Wilson out was stupid. Shone in pre season and was knocking goals in the reserves.
If Cam Wilson had been given the opportunities he would have scored 10 goals.
He had opportunities at a much lower level and scored once, that doesn’t suggest to me that he would have scored regularly in L2.
Nuttall is not fit to wear the Scunthorpe United Shirt and never should again in my opinion!

Well. Can people now begin to see what KH is doing for the club?
Is it putting out a team with a total weekly wage less than £2000?

There are one or two things I’d take issue with:-
“Tony Daws and our academy staff work hard to produce the players of the future with a clear and defined pathway, which will stand us in good stead for years to come.”
How many first team regulars have they produced in the last 10 years? The youngsters are only playing now because we’re desperate.“We can confirm Keith will be in total control of football affairs and Lee Turnbull will oversee the general running of the football club.”
How can that be guaranteed under new ownership?“Tomorrow’s game against Hartlepool provides the club an opportunity to turn a corner.”
We’ve had many opportunities to do that over the last few seasons, why will tomorrow be any different?“would ask that all of you continue to support the Iron with your passion, energy and commitment to move the club forward.”
A big ask considering that your passion, energy & commitment have vanished. Will you be there tomorrow?“
