Didn’t seem to take long for the ground to get from The Iron to Coolsilk.
So he’s gone, I didn’t even know he was here.

It is obvious from the online version that I read, where their priorities lie. It is even more obvious in football matters. There are often 3 or 4 new articles per day about GT, we’ve had 4 articles in the last 3 weeks.

He’s secured his move, this season will be a test of his attitude.
August 5, 2022 at 9:01 am in reply to: Will Today be the day for the takeover to go through ? #242063But surely the Fit & Proper Persons test would be one of tha last things needed for completion. That wouldn’t be done in the early stages of the process would it? If they’re waiting for the pre-match warm up to make the announcement then they could be missing out on a few hundred supporters that would turn up if new owners were revealed today.
Sam Burns got a lot of goals for Blackburn’s youth teams… Not sure it’s the most reliable bellweather.
Too true, I was hedging my bets by using “might, maybe and ?”

From Nuttall’s Wiki:-
“Premier League 2
After arriving on trial in July, Nuttall went on to contribute 14 goals in 15 appearances and gained two assists. It was after ten goals in seven games midway through October for the development squad that Nuttall was promoted into the first team, before dropping back down into the development squad towards the end of January 2018. On 12 May Nuttall was one of seven players nominated for Premier League 2 Player of the Season. Also, despite his 13 appearances in the Blackburn first team, Nuttall finished as the Premier League 2’s second-top goalscorer with 14 goals, behind Lukas Nmecha’s 15 strikes.”Shows what he might do at our new level maybe?

I know Hill isn’t a fan of the loan system but, as we only have 1 in there’s room there. I wouldn’t be averse to a young striker from the EFL and I wonder if Peplow is still in the frame when fit.
Not much encouragement from ‘pools fans. The fee might be undisclosed if it’s embarrassingly low, possibly toffees?

First three rounds of fixtures are now live
Where are they Matt, how do we get to them?
Give her a few quid to treat herself shopping and tell her you’ll have a quiet couple of pints in the club house. That might work for one game.
” I know it’s difficult not to be sceptical”
It’s impossible not to be sceptical in my case.

How about details of the points scoring system for the newcomers Matt.
(Also a refresher for us oldies with memory issues)Bringing in a decent striker will probably involve a fee and a decent wage. Will that cause problems with those playing for peanuts?
Great result today – I am wondering why Daws has never taken the plunge into first team manager? He has done a fantastic job with the youngsters as shown by their performance this afternoon.
Maybe he is wary of putting his head above the parapet, especially if he has a mortgage to pay but how amazing it would be to take the youth team through to first team success, he obviously knows how to build a great team spiritHow many football league regulars has Daws produced during his time in charge of the youngsters?

Well Lee said in yesterday’s update, and I quote,
“There will be more signings to come during August, which will add more depth to the squad.”
So, all is not lost as yet in terms of a striker. All well and good, personally I’d prefer “more quality in the team” over “more depth to the squad”
You could probably write KH’s match report yourself now. It doesn’t vary much.

Very happy to read about the fan friendly initiatives that Lee is introducing, long overdue and possibly too late. A positive for supporters nonetheless.
Not really the announcement we were hoping for though is it?

I’ll bet Josh Morris is p***** o**!
Still not sure how the young MFs are going to get much game time in their true positions.
Do you want them to? Are they good enough?
That’s for Keith to decide but they won’t progress if they’re not playing. Loans for some could be the way to go.
Of course, but he’s tried Cribb & Gallimore there so it looks as if that’s a non starter. Still not sure how the young MFs are going to get much game time in their true positions.
As long as DCM isn’t one of them.
Has Rowe blotted his copybook over the summer? He was a Hill favourite last season.
To be able to read his tweets without being a follower as Samways said earlier.

Here’s what we’ve all been waiting for:-

❌🍽 Regrettably, the Glanford Park restaurant will no longer be open to dine on a Sunday.
All existing bookings have been contact. We apologise for the inconvenience.”1 user thanked author for this post.
Not at all odd that it’s NOT on SUFC Official twitter. I think there’s no room until all the car parking spaces and replica kit are sold and the restaurant is full.

Maybe mistertonmick could give Lee a nudge.
A bit later but The Beast did OK.
