If people speak out with the truth then involving solicitors would be a waste of time and money. Could still be some gagging orders in place?

But that wouldn’t generate any cash Pat.

Au contraire Rodney, can’t you feel the optimism?
From the Peterborough Telegraph:-
“It was only ever a matter of time before Jimmy Dean’s amazing managerial numbers led to a job at a high profile club.”
High profile!!!!! Are we sure he’s come to The Iron?
Simon, Ian and Roj had a meeting with Hilton on Saturday ant Hilton’s request.
Can you get a job with the OWS mick.
Get those Chinese guys up the road on board with some sponsorship, The British Steel Stadium would do for a few years if it pays well.
If they need a government handout to secure jobs I doubt sponsorship is high on their list of priorities.
I believe he has several options, I think we’re in his top 50.

Chances will be improved if Kabamba moves before Friday.

Just checked PS website. Plummer is not the assistant manager there he is the head coach. How will this work out at GP?
I thought that was a bit daft. Dean and Plummer will be here regardless. I wonder if he’ll go after some of the better players at that level and bring any of his players with him ? They have a really solid CB there at his old club who’s supposed to be one of the better one’s at that level and 2 really quick wingers who have scored a fair new. Be a bit risky mind because I think they’re part time, aren’t they ?
Risky indeed, don’t forget this is the level at which Devarn Green and Marcus Carver look almost like footballers.
The clearest message from that is that he thinks we are very over staffed off the field!
First action to increase that by two seems strange then?
Good game and excellent atmosphere.
Feeney was really strong when he came on. Like him a lot.
Their no 6 was quality. Lanky bastard as well.
If we keep playing like that, and convert a few more chances, we have an outside chance of staying up.
Enjoyed the day.Just shows how differently we see things. I agree with everything you say except I though the No6 was an absolute donkey!!!
Fair enough, but I can’t get excited by NLN player recruitment. Finance probably a factor but you couldn’t expect a massive improvement on-field really.
Looks like preparation for next season doesn’t it.
One change from Wednesday I hope. I couldn’t work out what O’Malley’s role was and, per his interview, he wasn’t sure either. Gallimore surely a better bet for CM – square pegs?
Not sure how many Bromley take away but 4,000 would send a positive message to the new chairman.
Hence the inclusion of “for most people”
I think that’s how management structure/chain of command works for most people in the real world.
He who pays the piper and all that.2 users thanked author for this post.
I think he made a great effort with the marquee and pre-match entertainment and still has plenty to offer the club. Mr Hilton will define his role, if any, but let’s give him a chance to work without previous constraints. As mentioned previously, some comment on his latest statement would be welcome. I’d also be interested to hear from any Swann era manager if they’re free to speak.

No, we’ve seen what he was paid to do and say.

Would love to see the names of Ian Sharp and Simon Morris on that board of directors list very soon. Think Turnbull should go but that’s just my opinion.
Agree with the first part 100%. Regarding Lee, I’d give him a chance to show his true colours when not operating with tied hands and ventriloquist’s voice.

Still an insider (or two) on there though, they need to decide, and declare publicly, which side they’re on.

I understand that a deal for the former Ilkeston Town chairman David Hilton to buy @SUFCOfficial as well as Glanford Park and the land surrounding the stadium is hoped to be completed today. None of the parties involved are commenting at this time. #Iron #UTI @RadioHumberside”I’d be interested to know his source if nobody is commenting!!
I see Daniel has said he enjoys playing up front, might be our best option and a chance for O’Malley. Starting Poulter would be a big risk IMO.
Seems so.

How hard did we try to keep him ?
Money talks.
Hope today we get in a replacement of at least the same quality.Maybe not the amount of money, although I’m sure he’ll see an increase, but the certainty of being paid every month will be a factor surely. We could have offered him £5k per week with every chance he wouldn’t see a penny.

Initially the aim of the Trst was to purchase shares and obtain representation on the board. The current lack of ideas or leadership would indicate that would have been a waste of time anyway.
