Manager “expecting to win games” is a dangerous attitude IMO.
Very strange!! Another post with the same theme appears to have been deleted.
Yeah probably too soon we will be settling for a play off spot.
Just not good enough are we.The most frustrating thing – sometimes we are.

Do you mean Too soon?

I really can’t see why Bruers and the Trust are getting involved in this. Can’t we just file the Unity Group under “Well Intentioned” and let them get on with it?

Not sure that Richie Bennett ever played better than Cal Roberts though!
Almost always ‘Undisclosed’ these days.
I doubt we’ll get much of a fee. If, as suspected, he’s on a sizeable wage I don’t think there’ll be many clubs (at the level that will be interested) will want to pay a big fee and take on what will be a significant weekly outlay. As above, it could depend on how necessary it is to reduce the wage bill. We might have to settle for a free and a sell on but we could be stuffed without him. Tough decision for the board if there are offers and whatever they decide will probably upset 50% of fans. There’s no “right” decision is there?
I can’t believe that friction and name calling between groups that all support The Iron and have the clubs interests at heart achieves anything. There is more than one way to support The Club, if somebody’s ideas don’t align with your own that doesn’t necessarily make them wrong. For example it could be argued that subsidising away travel and hosting kids Christmas parties encourages support both now and in the future. Do we need to have antagonism between groups that seek to support The Club in different ways.
For avoidance of doubt – CT = Iron Trust member.Spent 3 months on Nicholson’s long throw, worked once.
Reminded him of Cleeeeevlaaand! We can only hope.
Torps made an interesting point on RH commentary. Apparently Fadera was playing “park football” not long ago and it showed as “he plays without fear” not having had it coached out of him yet.
How long will that take? Done by Tuesday?1 user thanked author for this post.
Cally Stewart, NLN top scorer, Leamington to Shrewsbury (undisc) They then beat Darlo without him.

Another example of a team giving everything against us and having nothing left for the next game.
Starting Tuesday – must win.

Chorley (8th) v Scunny (4th)
They failed to score in 3 of their last 5 and in 4 of their last 6 games. But only took 5 minutes against us!!
Could get away with a 3 day week. Watching Tues/Sat and a day to report in?
Been there before with a Farsley loanee haven’t we?
My worry is they’re both lacking experience in senior football.

I don’t, but it looks like a loan with some back story to me. Should certainly be match day squad (at least) IMO.

I’m obviously not “in the loop”. Elaborate please.

Only one noodle to blame I’m afraid and he picks the team along with the other chuckle brother!
Couldn’t fault the team selection with the possible exception of Brogans omission. Has he been a bad lad?

64 will be along shortly to correct you.

I take full responsibilty. I got carried away by the KL result and went for a win today in the PL (I seldom, if ever, do that ‘cos this is what happens)
He also said he could use Kelly, Scales or Brogan there. (Didn’t mention Beck though!) But, I agree, we need a genuine RB.
