No, it would take 5 or 6 games before we stopped lumping it upfield expecting to win headers.

Rene for ‘best thread title of the year’ award btw. Total BS that festival goers want a muddy field mind. Nothing could be further from the truth

Unlikely to be pipped for “longest” thread of the year title but a nailed on certainty for longest OP of the year (decade/century)

Presumably a 2 year contract can be offered with each “year” being 44 weeks leaving time for the fruit picking and a holiday. Still need to sort play off provisions though, 46 weeks might do it.

Bruers could turn out if it’s walking only. Barrie can be captain.
Makes finishing top even more important!
(Note – should be OK this season, sounds like July to April will be new deals. Need to include a contingency for future play offs though.)

Our last game 26th April, surely can’t complete play offs in 4 days.

Carson Wishart (approx.) pushes him close for that award. Luckily he seems to have disappeared.

Listen to Andy instead – they’ll be tough opponents. Good players, well managed etc.

    Or is it Woerrington?
Last time they scored more than 1 goal in a game was October 21st. A 2-2 draw.
The most they’ve scored in a game this season is two goals – which has occurred 4 times. They’ve failed to score in 11 of their games.A solitary goal scored in 16 of their games.Just 2 goals scored in the last six games.
    Warrington 0-3 Scunthorpe
    Possibly even 0-4.

    Remember this Rene?

    Here’s another:-
“Spennymoor beat the transfer deadline on Monday evening to sign talented young midfielder James Huntley on loan from Premier League outfit Newcastle United.
The 20-year-old starlet has agreed a deal which will see him remain on loan at The Brewery Field until the conclusion of the 2024/25 campaign.”

Villa paying 75% of Rashfords £325K per week so I guess they’ll be trying to recoup at least half of that from Kiddy?

I’ll repeat the point I made earlier on another thread. Those high earners will not match their current earnings at any team at a level realistic to their abilities. They will be taking a pay cut wherever they’re playing next season. If they’re settled here and we can be close to any other offer they receive it’s possible that some might stay. (maybe)
For example, it’s harsh, I know but could Fitz be retained in a player/coach capacity if we save Mussy’s wages.

I think you misinterpreted 64’s post.. I think (hope) he was referring to “selling” it as a venue for daily, weekly, monthly, one off events.

Something is definitely brewing behind the scenes. I just hope to god it isn’t this My Football fan owned scheme which is going to come to fruition because it sounds terrible.

The Board members all run successful businesses, surely they’ll have done their homework and have read MyFootball’s history as we have.
Potentially the team will be selected by c10,000 people, a large percentage of whom have never seen the team play. Ridiculous.

Beestin looked like a fish out of water in that position as did Evans in an earlier game. If you don’t have a DMF then play a system that doesn’t need one! Butler thought he did well which is worrying. (to me) Happy to have the 3 points but not good to watch for 80 minutes.
