Up there with Jermaine Beckford, Lionel Perez, Ryan Yates, Steve MacLean, Ivan Toney, Murray Wallace (before signing permanently).

Our goals were all decent with some real nice build up play and finishes (even Beck’s!). On that showing I’m glad Foster didn’t stay with us or decide to come back this season.

Brogan played CB after Boyce went off, with Gjoshe and Shipstone either side of him. Good to see TSF back and doing the business…we’ve definitely missed him these past few games.

Yeah ok. Haks 13 goals in 30 games in League 2 last season. Has Roberts ever played a game in the football league?

Better than any winger we currently have on our books, including Roberts.

Save of the season and got us the 3 points! Made bloody hard work of that though. Still yet to see anything from Chadwick to suggest he should be anywhere near the starting 11.

How does Chadwick start ahead of Howe? Baffling.

Should have been game over at half time with the chances we had, and Eastleigh didn’t really have a sniff until Alfie missed that one-on-one.

An away draw isn’t the end of the world and to be averaging 2 points per game after the first 15 is pretty impressive given where we’ve come from and on a lower budget. Do I see us continuing this form through to the end of the season? Probably not but you never know.

Can someone please explain why we have a right back playing left back, a left back playing centre back, and a centre back playing right back!??

Hopefully. I see Mahady was on the bench for Scotland U21’s the other night, no word about that from the club so assuming he’s left the building?

Stats would be even better if his goal vs Wealdstone counted.

44 goals in 74 starts for the Iron (87 appearances in total), suggesting he does a lot more than score the odd “worldly” free kick.

A tough watch at times defensively, especially when their goal kicks were ending up in one-on-one situations! Three cracking goals though to seal the points. If after 13 games you’d have told me we’d be averaging above 2 points per game I would have called you a nut job! Goalkeeper situation still a bit of a worry for me but Rory is doing relatively well and made two great saves tonight.

I thought Kelly played an absolute blinder for them.

If he could shoot they’d have been out of sight!

Whether it was Watson’s fault or not, that’s almost every single goal conceded this season being from a high ball into the box. It’s more than a theme now, it’s a major weakness!

Alfie has always had a wondergoal or two in him but his ball retention has always left a lot to be desired over previous years…that appears to be much improved this season.

I think Rowley is the reason we’re not missing Clunan in the slightest. He’s playing a slightly deeper role than he did last season and he’s excelling at it. Hasn’t been less than a 7 in any game so far!

Great goal from TSF and he’s exactly the sort of outlet we need when under pressure like that towards the end of a game that we’re leading in (i.e. not Mark Beck!).

In Butler’s pre-match interview he suggested Callum is out because of concussion protocols.

And no official word on a goalkeeper. Do we have one?

Think they mentioned on Humberside it’s equalled our longest unbeaten start to a season which was back in the 1930’s!

It’s not, only going to get worse from here on in. Pretty miffed that lessons clearly weren’t learnt from last season’s pitch/beach fiasco.

Had a flick through the highlights of all the other NL games this week and ours was by far the worst.

Better 2nd half but still not great, lucky to come away from that with a draw so we’ll take the point and move on.

Not good so far is it. So many heads down strolling around the pitch. Pitch probably isn’t helping, can’t believe it’s this bad after how bad it was last season…lesson clearly not learnt.

2 points per game is promotion form, so anything close to 8 points from 4 games against top 8 sides would be incredible. I’d be happy with 5.

Starbuck needs a deserved mention too, thought he was excellent filling in at centre back.

Agree about Dawson. Equaled Becks Iron career flick ons, hold ups and goals in 25 minutes.

Plus a lovely knock down for the 2nd, so has now eclipsed the number of Beck’s goal contributions in less than an hour.

Should be fully committed with a basic formation of 442.

Why? We’re unbeaten in the league and have played pretty much a 4-3-3 every game.

Amateur hour. This is what happens when you try to do things on the cheap and sack your ground staff. Only going to get worse as the temperatures drop towards winter.

Surely he can’t start after his “performance” on Tuesday night when again he did absolutely nothing of note.

I’d go for the same starting lineup as the OP.
