No, you’re just a twat with a God complex.

It makes little to no sense to introduce a loyalty point scheme for general sale (never done before) but then let season ticket holders distribute multiple tickets to whomever they please whether they’re an actual fan or not. And it wasn’t just ST holders who could purchase 4, those purchasing in general sale phase 1 could also get up to 4 tickets!
There’s an ST holder on FB claiming to have gotten his 4 tickets, then managed to also get an ADDITIONAL 3 when they went on general sale. If true then that is an utter clusterfuck from the club…no wonder some genuine fans are missing out.
The amount of “life long” fans that haven’t got tickets is laughable.
Is it? I’m glad you’re having a good chuckle about it.
I’m a lifelong fan and haven’t been able to get a ticket even though I’ve been to probably more games and put in many more hours travelling to/from games this season than a lot of those who have managed to get one. But because we’re a tinpot outfit in a tinpot league my away games don’t count towards these shoddy “loyalty” points (emailed the club and they basically replied “tough titty sonny Jim!”).
Never not been able to get a ticket to the biggest games over the last 20 years (Tranmere away, Huddersfield at home, Charlton away, the Wembley trips, Manure at home, Reading at home, previous playoff games etc etc). So where have all these “loyal” fans suddenly come from??
I mistakenly did the same as RB above. I don’t know any season ticket holders and declined Awaywego’s offer to get one thinking “Glanny Park has never sold out in my lifetime, I’ll easily be able to get one in General Sale phase 2.” Lesson learnt, at least it’s still watchable via DAZN.
Nah it’s rubbish and very amateurish. You set a time to release tickets you either stick to it or if you have to move the goalposts (again!) at least do it so that it gives people a chance to see when they’re being moved to.
The only way you knew they’d be released last night at “around 10:30pm” was if you were still up at 10pm and watching their social media feed like a hawk!
This whole situation has been caused by allowing season ticket holders to purchase 4 tickets each, which was a stupid and unnecessary decision.

Agree with Awaywego…season ticket holders have had plenty of time to sort their tickets and a deadline of 4pm today was quite clearly stated. 4pm comes then they should all be released there and then!
Honourable mention for Gary Thompson. Great player, hampered by in injuries
Yep, Thompson was particularly incredible during the second half of our Championship survival season. Scored some absolute beauties and really important goals.
Looking like DAZN for me. Though perhaps a silver lining. Appears to be a DAZN app on my new smart TV. Anyone used it before? Usual laptop way is poor tbh. Lags, buffers etc. Surely the smart TV app is going to be better than that?
Yeah the DAZN app is top notch to be fair (I use it on a Firestick).
Yep, definitely should have taken up AWG’s offer! Just hoping there are a few to be released from season ticket holders. They should have definitely been given priority but allowing them to buy 4 tickets was a bit steep in my opinion. There’ll be a lot of genuine fans missing out.
I’m still worrying about my holiday clash being in Italia.
Has anyone on Bru actually used DAZN successfully over there to watch a game?
Shall book it before going. Not Italy but used it in Turkey, you should be fine.

Re:murphy – Culpable to being caught too far off his line as well; Happened twice at Wembley within 6 weeks. But still, for me, best GK we’ve had in my 25 years watching us.
Yep, at fault for 4 goals at Wembley that season. Dived over the ball for Luton’s 2nd and rushed out like a madman for their winner. Then should have saved both against Millwall…the 2nd in particular!
Unpopular opinion but I always thought Murphy was a tad overrated. There was a period where punching balls into his own net was quite a regular occurrence.
To score 20 goals in our Championship surviving season, it has to be Hooper for me.
Offer open to you as well BLT.
Cheers AWG…looks like the club have amended the criteria today for “exiled supporters” so should be fine (only need 1 game on your account from the past two seasons).

Living down South I can’t get to many home games at all but have been to as many away games as possible this season and bought literally every game on DAZN that I could.
Don’t meet the “5 home games” criteria so a bit disappointed I’ll probably miss out! Have we actually ever fully sold out? I think the last time we came close was Vs Man Utd in 2010!
We can only keep our fingers crossed and hope (a few weeks ago everyone on here was claiming Whitehall had played his last game for us).
Will be a big loss if he does end up being out for the final.
Legend? Calm down. Next you’ll be saying Russ is an absolute legend!

7 subs named in every playoff game in the North/South so far.

Is Colchester the English translation for Strasbourg?
Six wins in your last six games is the way to do it. Congratulations to them.
Chester went to KLT today with several youth players in the team including an 18yo goalie and won 3-0. If only we’d done that last week.
But our season has been one long “if only”.
Getting a result at KL was always going to be tough. It was the loss at Radcliffe that did it for us!

Was a decent away performance for a change. We could have scored more, very unlucky hitting the post twice! Saw the game out well if not for a couple of nervy moments.
Players seemed well up for it as well and had a real fighting attitude about them (such a big difference to the KL game) so hopefully they take that going into the playoffs.

Pat, in the interest of everyone on this forum…please do wind your neck in and kindly f*k off. Thanks.

I would definitely buy into a Patreon model for the Trust. I’ve been a member since 2021…that initial tenner couldn’t have gone far over the last 4 years!

April 23, 2025 at 5:33 pm in reply to: Calum Roberts and boardroom news from Michelle’s BBC chat #303224He’s played a whopping 3 games above National League level in his career (on loan at League 2 Colchester in 2019).
Can’t really see League 1/2 clubs coming in for a 28 year old plying his trade in the NLN. He’ll end up in the NL next season but probably not with us.
If we win, Kiddie lose (if they draw we have to win 6-0) and Brackley draw then we’re champions.
That just isn’t going to happen, especially as mentioned above Brackley have Farsley at home (who have lost their last 10 games with a -28 goal difference).

A repeat of last year would be nice at Hereford…we tore them to shreds on the counter that day!
We could win both, Kiddy draw one and we still finish 3rd on goal difference (unless we get a 7 goal swing).
Very likely to given that Hereford, Oxford City and Gloucester (last season) were all in the northern half.
Merthyr Town away will be an interesting fixture as they’ll probably be in the northern half!
Doesn’t help when one of your own players clears one off the line.
You must live a really exciting life if after a game (which you’ve just won to go top of the league), rather than enjoy the rest of the day and celebrate you decide to register to another teams message board to write a pretty pointless post.
