Surely if they leave the club at the moment they know there’s no money to repay their loans otherwise they wouldn’t have needed to give said loans in the first place.
Could liquidate the club but there’s still no assets to sell.
Would just have to wait a wee bit.April 5, 2025 at 8:54 am in reply to: Has Whitehall Played His Last Game For The Iron – Yes or No #301732Maybe.
If only.
Gonna be an hard sell for them if we don’t go up, blame will probably aimed at the club rather than Butler.
Promotion is essential more than ever now imo.Sharp and Roberts wouldn’t be welcome in the Dre again, dont think it will be to long before they’re not welcome anywhere in the ground.
Cant say this season but every time I went in for tickets last season there were always 4 in the shop, I remarked about it at the time.
So that says full-time to me.There’s one good thing to come out of it, and that’s i don’t get criticism for slagging Ian not so Sharp off anymore.

Lol.
That’s it siderite, it would be a show of strength leaving them diddly dongs in charge.
Would go down great at the next home game if they showed up.Surely it can’t carry on like this.
Ps, did everyone notice how many were working in the club shop who were thanked 4 yes 4.
How can a NLN team run with that ffs. Cut the cloth for where we are.No thanks Rene.
About time two showed some balls and resign from the board then.
Their treatment of people is beyond contempt.
Still Cass will be along soon telling us about how the board are still doing wonders.
Not good PR, not a good luck, don’t they realize that other companies can see all their dirty washing, hardly a “come and invest and support us” but then again shouldn’t think their bothered.

I was warned for the use of the “C” word and I used ***
Moderators must be more consistent, not that I mind the use of it.Two new investors are neither use nor ornament unless they put their money in as donations instead of loans, and they’re hardly likely to do that when others are loaning.
And that’s taking for granted that board members are prepared to dilute their shareholding (the 4 of them own 80% of shares)
Hostile takeover needed imo.I praise the club when they get things right, which I’m sure you’ll agree it hasn’t been many times this season.
“Person of power” please tell me who brought him in, wouldn’t be that board who are working wonders would it.
Going back to Cass’s “The board have done wonders” What have they really done other than get the government to stump up most of the money for the ground.
Cant think of any other action they’ve taken that comes across positively.Dont expect anything from Michelle, shes more or less said it’s as far as she can go in monetary terms and time.
Sharp and George appears to be just like most other owners who want their money back.
So sell up and give someone else ago.So yes I’ll take that distant billionaire and run that risk.
If nothing else this last week has shown the board are floundering.
See the season out and hope you’ve achieved promotion, then put the club up for sale.

There were never any early bird tickets available. Looked on day one and zilch.
Heaven help the fans, the club are not just allowing it they promote it.
Catchphrase Snot, “say what you see” I see your not contradicting me.
Haven’t seen anywhere that Dave donated £250,000 towards the stadium, fair play Dave.
I was referring to when the stadium was actually bought with money from the government and other parties at the time, the club i believe put some in.Well after Michelle’s appearance on politics live it wouldn’t be worth asking her, she didn’t understand the questions, rabbit trapped in the headlights,.
Normally they keep the guest on to come back to but they let her go very quickly.
Comment about British steel and Scunthorpe united going out of business wtf.Not if a large donation (debt) went to buy a stadium it wouldn’t.
Bad debt could also be a purchase of something that can never be repaid.
Must be taking tips off scunny on how to promote something, only 7 acts listed on their web page.
Click for nightly lineup and nothing comes up.
That’s cos Peter never tried to be sustainable at all costs, and Dave was prepared to cut costs and staff but came up with a wall of resistance at every turn.
Not saying everything he wanted was right but some of it was or could have been. Not many others are commenting either but I’ll take grey.
No.
Rather see Hiltons extravagant spending on the team. (Would seem not bad in the end anyway seeing we only lost £250,000)
Now what is extravagant is employing a CEO, a Catering manager, stadium manager all tuther office staff, and a restaurant, all very well and good for a team in the EFL but national league north I don’t think so.
All beyond our control either direction.Did you expect to Sodiron? it’s being the model forever and a day.
Sustainability isn’t a reality in football.
What Deerey against my favorite ex employee Lol.
