Took notice of you Deerey, and and that’s the question I raised should chairman Swann have words and be more involved in the football side, he does have more clout. And under covid restrictions he would able to do that. No doubt when restrictions are over I will go down with my grandson and have a friendly conversation.

He only said we would play 442 attacking and entertaining football after he had signed for us Mick. Any idea why scunny fans have a fixation with inbreeding when if we’re honest we know it’s wrong, but still we need to give him 2 full seasons now we have him we’ve sacked enough already.

Yes let’s blame Swanny. He must have told Coxy how to set up and play tonight.

Hope lower league chairman shut their grounds and refuse to play until in the appropriate tier, if they stick together not a lot the Elf could do about it.

Alcy must be the same as me and just wanted to let the virus run, but having said that you don’t look a gift horse in the mouth and decline immunisation after all the sacrifices people have made.It would be interesting for Alcy how he see’s us getting back to normal.

It’s so easy to blame the young.Look at every news report down everyone’s high street, every one points out how many people are out and about forgetting that they are amongst them, but everyone has an excuse for themselves being out, so long as the elderly do as they are told, keep two meters apart, if you do go out wear a mask and don’t meet up with anyone else then you shouldn’t catch the virus.

Don’t you think at your age you can afford to take that chance. And just give a bit of thought to all the young ones going out of their way to help protect you and be a bit more grateful.

But I didn’t think you liked him signing players instead of the manager NI,sorry I must have got it wrong. At least he wasn’t involved in signing Rob Jones our record signing and one of our worst ever defenders, no that was saint Wharton and Adkins, every team signs there fair share of turds, and some turn into little jems. And you must admit (no that’s expecting to much) that Swannys one man committee signings are the backbone of our team.

Yet indoor sports venues in tier 1 and 2 can have up to 50% inside up to a limit of 1000, really strange how things work.

The likes of kvv,Mcgahey,Rowe,Brown,Beestin,Onariase,Olimola,Hallam,Green,Loft, and Howard? wouldn’t have much of a team without them Swanny signings imo.

Anyone of the Rooney brothers other than Wayne would do. Maybe the lad from notts county could be player manager?

Won’t argue with that Sanfran and will be even better if we get something out of the game.

Come on do your homework we won 2 of them games. I wasn’t referring to him, the manager or Liverpools wisdom I would expect they could see past them goals and what a prospect he was, But some of the posters on here wouldn’t so a little honesty wouldn’t go amiss.

Because this IS the age of the football forum Deerey, I am not trying to excuse myself, we can all reflect and ask ourselves are we been fair, plus at the end of the day I hope most is banter and if it offends, people shouldn’t be on a forum like ours, I guess I must have touched a raw nerve with you,but if the cap fits wear it.

Covid has affected us because we have had players out with covid, whereas others have probably had it but just played on.

`Of course were in a downward spiral NI but that’s not exclusive to us it’s just what happens in football, surely we all understand that, Cox knew the tools he got to work with when he took the job on now it’s up to him to manage and get the best out of them, ya know go out and try to win games instead of worrying about the opposition. Does Swanny make mistakes, course he does, we can all highlight which we think they are,but at the end of it he as the best interests of scunny at the heart of it.

But who would have as sacked Lawsy when we were going nowhere WG,most were more than happy after the embarrassment of losing to the non league cods, and then go into win promotion, manager with new world record, league 2 manager of the year and Winnall with the golden boot, and then to realize the next year he wasn’t up to managing in league 1 and get rid Wilcox as well.Chairmen have to be involved in all aspects of running a club to think owt else is naive.
