He’s even had his own “Positivity Dave” mugs made, gave one to Mr/Mrs Maw for services rendered.
Must admit I’m looking forward to the next “When Positivity Dave met” episode, most looking forward to the one that says When Positivity Dave met his maker lol.
Makes you wonder where them thumbs of his have been. The unity group needed a replacement front man to take over from Mr/Mrs Maw and looks like he’s the answer comes across every sickly at best.
Being not the brightest sparks and leaving the covers off till the last moment, I honestly believe no matter when they put them on the game wouldn’t have been able to be played.
Rochdale, re Accrington, re Accrington Stanley fully covered their pitch after Tuesday’s game and was still called off, mind you it was during the pre match warm up when called off, a far worse outcome for all fans than what happened at Scunthorpe I’m sure you’ll all agree.Down to club choice on Ewing and Roberts, Great chance of getting league football again via the playoffs so why would you get rid and piss the fans off, unless it was really silly money offered.
Brad Nicholson gone to Gateshead as well building a nice little team of ex pats up there.
The club need to be looking at the Clitheroe fixture now, the weather forecast is poor all week.
With the small crowd that is expected maybe move it to Bottersford’s plastic pitch just to get it out the way they don’t need a fixture backlog.
February is more or less Saturday Tuesday fixtures all month.Eze gone back to Bolton, 2 weeks to fill his and Chadwick’s places.
Nowt to do with the volunteers, just the club been tight again you know they don’t want to pay the full time staff the added time on new years day.
This club is amazing, amazingly thick, stupid call it what you will.We are talking scunny here Cass.
Boreham wood called theirs off this morning, announced yesterday there would be a pitch inspection.
Nice to see early sensible decisions from both clubs. On to the football without starting another thread.
Anyone in Scunthorpe will have noticed their grass is frozen today, seems pointless to me to now put covers on yesterday maybe.
Anyway grandsons going down to help out, ps don’t say anything he’s going down without an adult lol.1 user thanked author for this post.
Looked at the rules again of the fa and the EFL owners and directors test, and so long as it’s a spent conviction it’s ok.
Is the words “previous history” mentioned in the rules themselves I haven’t seen them myself. My nativity lol,
And still the unanswered question of how he funds the clubs he goes to, I’m betting on the tooth fairy.
Of course his conviction still exists but he’s served his sentence and should have been allowed to move on.Now your making that up CPRP lol.
Spent convictions are just that “spent” and don’t disqualify a person from being an owner or director.Maybe he won the lottery or come into an inheritance who knows.
All we know for certain is he’s had to provide proof of funding to the fa and National League under the EFL umbrella for Ilkeston, Scunthorpe and now Matlock.Well someone funded it and still is at Matlock.
Mtfc fan said rumours have it he’s spending up to 4 times more than similar division clubs, so he’s got one hell of a friendly bank manager that will throw money at him at whichever club he’s at (highly unlikely unless he after committing fraud) plus the bad press from being at Scunny.
Or maybe he funds it from his own pocket and receipts from the club.
Amazingly he appears to get people to work for him, clubhouse refurbished for one,
Down to you now how do you think the clubs he goes to get funded. From your posts you seem to resent that the club have not actioned on your thought on the subject.
From the club cosying up the vlogger, the club more or less taking the side of club elected voice of fans ie, Ryan. And the club not commenting on the matter or having words with said drummer.
That’s where I think your chip is Saleiron.
I myself have many beefs with the club and normally take action on them in various ways, you could well do the same on anything you feel strongly about and this is certainly something you appear to feel strongly about.
Anyway happy new year to you as well. Not really I just hope they both succeed, just like I hoped Swanny would succeed when he was the owner, was fully behind him right up till he stopped funding the club and pretty much the same with Hilton up till he stopped his funding.
Just in case you’ve missed it Saleiron the voice of the fans are going to be in one of the huts on Saturday for people to engage with wink, wink, nudge, nudge, your chairman is encouraging fan engagement don’t go against her wishes.
You’ve obviously got a chip on your shoulder relieve yourself self of it you never know you might feel better for it.But the stand isn’t full of aggressive young men, it’s Ryan we’re talking about with the drum one the nicest young man you’ll come across.
Start lecturing him and your more likely to have the old bastard’s on your back who stand directly in front of him than any of the youth. And that’s only because they know him from home and away games.Moan moan f ING moan grow some balls and address your issue.
First they came. poem by pastor Neomoller.
Why not contact Ryan and discuss or with the club for that matter.
Ryan or other voice questions.
voice@scunthorpe-united.co.ukYou know better than that Deerey, quite obvious by what CMC posts he wants Dean to fail at Spalding.
So god help Hilton at Matlock.
I’d like Hilton to do well at Matlock, what says everyone else lol.Minor detail you say Ironawe, after all these years of watching football I thought you’d have noticed that a teams home results is normally better than an a away results..
They didn’t win at Rochdale NI they won at Accrington.

Seem to be playing a lot better this season, so much so we gripe at Butler’s substitutions when winning games, fans are even enjoying most games which couldn’t be said last season bar the odd game or two, kings lynn being one which I missed lol.
Can’t see anything but a big win.Must be concerning for you Mtfc over the manager saga one minute he’s gone for poor results and table position the next he’s back and only being told he’d been let go to go to a bigger club.
That’s one of the things I didn’t like about him the chopping and changing on decisions, tuther him being on social media ( not a place for a football club owner) does he still go there.
Has he come up with the investment in the youth teams (sadly we don’t here don’t even enter the fa youth cup) and the investment in the ground improvements, already seen he’s done a great looking sports bar.
Take it with a pinch of salt scunny fans wishing you good luck, most want you to fail because of the Hilton connection.
Top spot looks out of question so playoffs have got to be a must for you, may even pop along myself and watch a game.Nah Point a game will take us to 69 and that won’t be to far off.
7 in the playoffs MK.Don’t know about that but it must be a record that the top 6 teams are averaging at least 2pts a game after 23 games.
Well done all.2 users thanked author for this post.
On the Montel Gibson saga Mtfc which you brought up do you still put the blame on the club or Montel.
I’m staying (season ticket boost✓) I’m going (we were sold a lemon) staying after all! Nah I’m off again.Matlock town had a pre Xmas crowd of 1576 in the northern premier league east in tier 8.
