We should all be able to agree that a club with nigh on 3000 average gates should be easily sustainable in NL. Shouldn’t need Swanny to tell us that.

Like CBRP said if the ground is still separated from the football club the mortgage repayments are nothing to do with the club. They are/were 2 different limited company’s.

If the HMRC get first refusal on all funds we wouldn’t be in debt to them 64, Derby run up a debt of 30 million with them yet still carried on. They only get money if the club give them it.

And what’s he going to to do with the ground and land Random, sit on it like the Rotherham owner did? It’s still there stands and floodlights evidently youth football being played there now.

Any idea why we didn’t give notts county and chesterfield more tickets to bring more money in to lessen the burden?

At least we can put to bed the myth that Swanny doesn’t want to sell, quite obvious that it’s in Swannys best interest, if the administrators or liquidators get hold of the club Swann could end up with next to nothing once all the debts are paid off, I guess a lot of posters will have to eat humble pie now on the theory’s they have come up with over the last few years. “Wants the land to sell to developers” which is worth 900.000 pounds by the way. Lol.

SST where is your source for the transfer embargo, why no “Time to pay agreement” very unusual not to have one with the taxman, I know Southend broke their aggrement and that’s why the HMRC are trying to wind them up, where are we?

It just gets worse, why isn’t Turnbull paying the taxman never had this problem when Swann was in charge.

The ground and land was valued at 5.2 million in the 2020 accounts with the land valued at 900,000. Coolsilk property & investment bought it for 5.2 million during the next year’s accounting period.

It would seem the best outcome would be liquidation, the points deduction wouldn’t alter the fact that we’re heading to NLN, and Swann loses control, (other than the ground,) I can live with that.

There could have been if Turnbull let notts county and chesterfield more tickets for the corner that we have previously give teams with big followings, bloody useless imo, can anyone come up with a reasonable argument why we didn’t give more tickets away?

And Turnbull’s words mean nothing what a piss poor effort he’s making of everything this season, he’s got a bigger budget than half the teams in our league and yet he’s doing a worse job than Swanny, come on tell me he isn’t or tell me what he’s doing right I can’t see anything. Even last year at Xmas we had optimism that we might survive in league 2 can anyone hand on heart believe we stay up this year. He said he came to make a difference and improve us. Still waiting!

Thought we were unlucky today not to get a point today, Lavereys goal bound shot blocked by Carver but that’s what happens when your at the bottom, poor fist goal shouldn’t have let him get a shot away I didn’t think Dewhurst really had a chance of saving it, again most of our problems from poor defensive decisions Apter put us into trouble 3 times in quick succession in the first half and others doing much the same all game Gallimore for their second. What the hell is Turnbull doing not letting their fans have the corner and more as well, posters on here keep reckoning were struggling for money well anyone today I’m sure could see otherwise, also the town missing out on the away fans money 8 buses in Brigg the 1st arriving at 10’30, come on local landlords make an effort to welcome away fans. Like Ironawe said enjoyable game and the 1st to have no booing at the end for a change, show effort and the fans are there.

The club would only be turned into extinction if nobody buys the club.
