The trust have got shite because they haven’t been seen enough over the last couple of years when some leadership was needed, funds should have been built up already, I want them to step up we all want them to step up, they will get the backing, my £1000 is still sat in the bank waiting to help buy the ground, it’s down to the trust now.
Preston had a winding up petition against them in 2010 just after Hayes signed for them, their shares where suspended on the stock exchange at the time.
September 29, 2023 at 7:22 pm in reply to: Top Hilton trolling by Ian Sharp on the donations page #274101Shame Sharpie wouldn’t pay all the wages again, bit of a poor show from the multi millionaire the club could do with at this moment in time.
Big shout out to the cod owners.

Don’t you mean Ian not so Sharp there 64. Strong statement “saved our club”
I hope there going to turn up to the game tomorrow, who’ll stop them entering the ground it’s not a police matter.

Do you mean the players the fans who do you mean? Rene
I abused him when he left a second time to go to Preston, they were in big money trouble then still are now only £77 million in debt, and yes we’ve done the go where the money is debate. Will always be a money grabbing bastard in my eyes.
Did Hilton inherit a £11’000’000+ debt I don’t think so.
Do Sag have to get involved because it’s Scunthorpe? The Arena only holds 4300 they don’t need to get involved only for grounds above 5000, if it needed a Sag accreditation it would have one all ready.
So NLI you were part of Wharton staff leaving the club with the biggest debt on the books shame on you, left the same time as Wharton did we.
Do read the statement Rene.
What shares?
Would still liked to have been there though, The son that goes has been given permission to skip a wedding in London, fair play to his missus she don’t like football but gets it and how important it means to us all. Some women are diamonds.

I quite liked the story till the fellow turned out to be gay, if only you’d said her instead of him. Hope that wasn’t wishful thinking Dragon iron.
Bigger crowd now or not? Grandson said am I going to cancel my holiday now, nana said no, funnily enough I was talking with MK at Chorley saying I’d picked the dates as not to biggy games to miss oh the irony of it all.
You’ve told us often enough how long you’ve supported the club, when has a director gone off piste and issued a statement, it’s not their place to unless given permission from the owner.
I’m glad he did, not likely it’s made any different to our situation.

Offer him £4 then. It’s not that simple, though I do agree if he stopped the funding I just want another sucker to take it on.
No need to have a SAG’s the grounds no big enough to warrant one. Ps there was another thread on Gainsborough no need for another one.
Wouldn’t it be easier for Hilton to take us to Ilkeston, people did say that was intention all along.
Does the Gainsborough ground come up to league standards for the division we’re in?
Not for me I’m on my hols, hope people don’t wreck the ground during the last to home games Dalro1 is right if there is a future it will only be there no where else, so I do hope fans behave, well at least to the ground itself.
We’re broke ffs.
Must agree with you there Darlo1 even if it is a soulless place for me.
And no crying about having to pay to get in at Gainsborough us season ticket holders.
He only did the same as St Simon and Ian not so Sharp, they said they’d bought it when they hadn’t. Well at least now I can get back to being the true awaywego and away games only till we fold completely, never did like Glanny park in the first place never a good match day experience there being out of town, not to bothered for myself I have so many good memories about the club but feel gutted for my grandkids and all the other young ones.
I thank you for giving it a go Mr Hilton I’m sure it’s the best move for you and your family I wish you well back at Ilkeston the club you love and is reciprocated by your fans there.
