Could be that he has played his last game for us and expectations are being carefully managed.
Filming yourself watching games – a look at me narcissist so not surprised.
He’d obviously seen other football videos and thought he’d have a go. DIY spirit, ‘citizen journalists’ is the buzz word, and all that. Fair play to him for having a go, I would never take that away from him. He’s put in a lot of miles on the road doing these. They’re just not that interesting when you look at the ones that have been done from the Chester game by other people.
Have to say, I think he’s got caught up in the Iron Hour self promotion and the glamour of being known – but I don’t like the game footage and his take on things during the games being the focus of his videos. Much preferred his earlier ones when game stuff was minimal and he was just the conduit through which we encountered strange and mythical creatures before and after each match. Quite charming in a way.
How much?
£18.99
You might be asking in the wrong place, I think he favours the Facebook group.
“The mob”?
I think he’s brought alot more to the club more to the club more than you and I but perhaps your a director tell me if you know bett6
Right. So what does “alot more to the club more to the club more” mean? Are you Bruce Forsyth?
Seriously, though. What does “a lot more” mean? You’ll have to be specific.

With Scunthorpe United clearly feeling the strain financially, it raises the question of whether the club is truly benefiting from keeping a CEO on the payroll. Cutting the CEO position could be a significant step toward lowering the monthly wage costs.
There is, as Michelle has said, definitely a need for someone to take the day-to-day pressure off her back. Does it need to be an expensive and untested CEO?
You are missing the point keep slagging him off like you all do what are you going to achieve he goes what’s next.May be nothing
It’s you that’s missing the point. You’re being asked to say what you think he’s brought to the club so far, so that people can engage with your side of things in a constructive way.

The FC100K debacle exposed the naivety and inexperience of the board
… and Gareth.
And, the immediate aftermath of it all has exposed the naivety of a lot of the supporters.
Why not you only want me tell what you want and lm not going to do that
No, I’d rather we had a good and civil discussion about it, with you putting your points forward, and your working out, and your reasoning, for me to think about – and vice versa. That’s what I want.
After this week with Zanetti, Danny and finally Fc100,000 it’s just five people with no idea.
Say you’re right and there are five people with no idea acting as custodians of our Club… Isn’t that even more reason to contribute some of your own skills, talents, enthusiasm, cash?
But you stil have ceo and he is not going away hmm
Best not have opinions or discuss them, then?
I genuinely think it’s five people with no idea about music and what people are going to want to see being ‘taken in’ by promoters. The only way to explain this cringey sucking up to Zanetti.
I think they very much want it to be a success and that they very much don’t want to lose face, and that explains giving Zanetti the benefit of the doubt over Saturday’s shenanigans.
…drive him out then the next and the next. Nothing changes what an earth do you all want.
A ridiculous thing to say. People just want to see (especially in light of the traumas of the last few years) that he’s a particularly strong appointment, the right fit, that he’s value for money, that his salary isn’t an unnecessary waste during relatively hard times.

How do you know he hasnt why would he be there
Have you been impressed, so far?
Why dont you realise these people are not going away
Ok. So people are justifiably asking what he has contributed since his appointment, and whether that is a reasonable indicator of what he is likely to contribute in the future? That’s fair enough, isn’t it?

At least the guy has tried to do something more than any of you.
How do you know?
It is surely a massive error at this stage not to have a confirmed line-up for the Saturday – and an exceptionally strong one at that. Amateur hour.
Michelle really made a mistake with him.
You’re presuming that he was her appointment.
What has Mr Roberts brought to the table since his arrival then?
– Stadium weekender/Tom Zanetti
– FC100000
– Bad vibes (allegedly)Anything else?
Podcast with Iron Hour.
I don’t think it went very well, though, all told. It was under difficult circumstances during a difficult week, but it wasn’t the best of interviews.
Loads of respect for Michelle but that interview was a mess. Surely our media-trained CEO should be rearing his head for things like this.
It wouldn’t surprise me if Michelle saw it has her responsibility to put herself in front of the microphone, I think she could be made of stronger stuff than the others.
There’s also the problem that people would only criticise if the CEO had gone out, some would have said that the board were hiding.
I think that’s fair enough, too.

Has anyone heard how sales are going? Heard from someone in the know less than 500.
Not to be sniffed at.

Very good point.
only one slip-up from Iron opens the door for them to step through
I’ll let you into a secret. Kidderminster are shitting themselves too.
The hospitality in particular is nowhere near adequate.
The food has not been very good in the restaurant this season – and, in fact, has been that bit worse since Henry’s Bar took over.
It seems it will be difficult for any external caterer to turn over a decent profit whilst the facilities exist in their current state.
The hospitality in particular is nowhere near adequate.
Cutting right through to the nub of it, then, who is going to pay for all of the equipment to be brought up to standard? The Club, or whoever happens to be running the food?
Has this been a serious source of contention between the Club and its previous catering partners? Comments in the past would suggest it has.
I don’t think vendettas against Bru forum and podcast will go away soon. Which is a huge shame when key reps from all three fans groups including Bru, Trust and Iron Hour are able to present a united front to the Board like they did this week.
I don’t think there’s a vendetta, I think there’s just a general ‘whipping boy’ thing going on. Iron Hour are mouthy top boys who are riding their luck and the novelty wave of public interest. They had a very close escape with Gareth this week.
Anyway, good luck to Smoking Goat and, more importantly, good luck to this Brads outfit. Let’s see how it goes.
Close season will be interesting that is for sure.
Got to look at prospects who want an opportunity but keep a tighter grip on the budget. Perhaps some Cleethorpes lads attracted attention in the coming months.
A couple of them looked decent.
Either way it doesn’t matter. He did everyone a favour by putting the information out there (even in the manner he did), and in doing so I suspect he has actually been far more honest than anyone else in this situation. I suspect he also still knows more than he has let on.
Those people on Facebook claiming the trauma and turmoil of Sunday and Monday were down to Iron Bru deliberately shit-stirring are complete and utter fools.
