Clunan was nowhere near as bad as Denton. Denton was so bad, I would have taken him off for Kelly. Kouogun was shocking as well, all he had to do was clear the ball behind him for a corner and the prat hooked it forward straight into their player, which resulted in the ball dropping straight into his patch which they scored from.

Boyce gave silly balls away and Rose was guilty of it too. In regards to Denton, that’s the worse I’ve seen him play in an iron shirt. Absolutely shocking. I’d have Evans back in at CB in place of Boyce personally.

I slagged Beck off after he miss those two sitters in consecutive games, but I felt sorry for him tonight. Beck won countless balls launched up to him and there were no runners from midfield. Roberts was most guilty as it looked like Beck was asking Roberts why he wasn’t making runs, it happened several times.

Butler said we have Beck who he’s happy to have as a replacement for Whitehall and commented that we need to get players closer to him. I hope he get’s players running beyond him and people close by because if not he’s going to be a passenger again.

I blame Butler for not sorting out a different playing style for when we have Beck up there instead of Whitehall. Butler signed him afterall !

Chester sold their top goal scorer Charlie Caton a few weeks ago and seemingly haven’t replaced him.

There was a comment made stating some players would maybe resign because some prefer to have security “a longer contract” with a smaller wage. To be fair those players will be on a hell of a lot for this level.

I personally thought Beestin did well in that role. Still think we need another defensive midfielder as Clunan is the only one at the club. Whatever formation we end up playing, we’re going to need one for the sake of balance.

We could recall Shrimpton, but he’s not playing at Spennymoor and Brogan is more effective further up the pitch like Beestin is.

Yes, but they may block you from having any pass in future. The trick they pulled with you with signing you up to their account without you knowing has been done before with boxing matches.

Quite a lot of people have bought fights PPV and in the tiny small print in terms and conditions it mentions you have to sign up to fixed membership just to be able to buy the one off fight. There has been many times when they’ve pulled that trick and still been taking money out of peoples accounts without them even realising.

Dazn have been doing crap like that for quite a while. I used to watch a boxing podcast every sunday and it got brought up a lot on there. Worst possible company that could have even gotten the rights. I used to like the old platform and watched many games on there.

Individual errors again. Boyce’s error with the poor header and Denton when moved to CM, fell asleep and didn’t track his runner. I will however say he shouldn’t have been there anyway.

I’d leave Boyce out for a while and start Evans. Evans has hardly been fantastic himself.

Looks nowhere near that kind of level. I’d be open to loaning him out and getting another wide player in because for whatever reason it’s just not worked for him. Carlton looked bright for a game or two when moved out wide, but then reverted back to how he was playing before.

I must admit, he didn’t look like his heart was in today’s game. I wonder whether he’s having a problem settling ?

I don’t entirely blame Butler for his lack of game management, but I will slate his choices of players on the bench as there was no CM player on there. Wouldn’t it make more sense to put Williams on the bench instead of carlton to add a bit more balance to the bench options ?

I do however feel we definitely need another defensive midfielder in the building because if anything happens to Clunan, who else in this squad is there to bring on as an adequate replacement ?

You’re not kidding, he’s way worse. I thought his last miss was bad enough when he somehow cleared the ball instead of tapping it home, but that miss against Chorley.

In all seriousness, I would expect Sunday league quality strikers to score that. Gilt edged chance isn’t doing it justice. I would have sent him out before Fish. We no doubt need a striker in the building. Butler did say he was looking at another few coming in to strengthen us and I hope one’s a striker.

Tongue firmly planted in cheek there Deerey. I’m sure the fact he’s missed two absolute sitters in back to back matches and genuinely looking poor since his arrival has nothing to do with people having serious doubts about him.

You’re right jerry, he’s been unfairly targeted. I quite easily list all the mistakes Butler’s made, which I have no doubt could fill a sheet of A4 paper. I’d rather not even go there.

Was Jerry drunk when he posted that response or was he actually being serious ?
