For the second time in recent weeks it wouldn’t take a weekly pass payment via my account, either on laptop or phone. Despite multiple attempts. Entered the details with various cards, press ‘start subscription’ and nothing happened. Anyone else found a fix for it? Frustrating. Never had an issue with nltv
January 22, 2025 at 11:30 am #297768Sorry to hear this. My last run in cost me money. Not happy.
January 22, 2025 at 11:31 am #297769DAZN is crap.
January 22, 2025 at 11:34 am #297771Had no problems.
January 22, 2025 at 11:38 am #297774Were you purchasing a weekly pass Cass? Don’t get why I can’t get past the payment bit. It acknowledges the card details are legit. Maybe I’ll try it a day or two before Needham Market

They won’t even take my money. Maybe they know something I don’t.

January 22, 2025 at 12:33 pm #297782I also had no issues purchasing a weekly pass yesterday. Tried in the app (which looks like it isn’t possible) so it presents a weblink to copy into your browser. Takes you to the payment page, pop in your payment details and job done.

January 22, 2025 at 1:26 pm #297791It’s crap.
January 22, 2025 at 1:27 pm #297792Cheers BLT. Will try that next week.
January 22, 2025 at 2:39 pm #297799Oh Dazn are good at taking money, I’ve paid for a year’s subscription but when i try to connect to the match it does not recognise me so the last two games i’ve had to pay for a day pass so that i can watch the game. Absolute scoundrels

BLT, just checking, was that on a phone, laptop or tablet? Thanks.
January 26, 2025 at 7:07 pm #298009On a phone (I then usually watch the games on the Firestick app).

January 26, 2025 at 8:46 pm #298011Dazn are garbage. I watched a match on there a while back and the picture quality and sound was a joke. The feed Kept cutting out too.
January 26, 2025 at 9:13 pm #298013The 1st stream I watched was absolute garbage and looked like it was being filmed on a potato (think it was the 0-0 draw with Darlo and the first time they started streaming the NL games).
The last two games I’ve watched have been spot on though…decent quality picture and sound, RH commentary synced up and instant replays.

January 26, 2025 at 10:09 pm #298015I’ll try that BLT. Thanks
January 27, 2025 at 12:44 am #298020Certainly sounds as if they’ve improved the quality of the coverage. I’ll re-visit it.

Tried that. Same outcome. Won’t process £9.99 payment. Disappointing from DAZN. Radio it is.
January 28, 2025 at 10:52 am #298058My biggest problem tonight will be choosing between the long winter coat or the shorter version, anything above 8 Celsius usually means the shorter one.
January 28, 2025 at 10:56 am #298059Is there a DAZN app available for smart TVs or do you have to go through the web browser?
Edited to add: I’ve watched on a laptop and it’s been crap.
January 28, 2025 at 11:25 am #298067There is one on Google playstore which works on android phone so should work as most smart tv’s use android operating system.

January 28, 2025 at 11:26 am #298068Just bought weekly pass with no problem.
January 28, 2025 at 11:59 am #298069Yep I’ve just bought mine without any issues too.
DAZN app is available to download on any Android OS I believe. I use the app on a Firestick to watch the games and the stream has been spot on the last two occasions (the KL and Brackley games).

January 28, 2025 at 3:11 pm #298077I use PayPal for payments to DAZN and ended up paying twice for the Darlington game after my first attempt didn’t show as accepted. At the start of this month a unauthorised payment showed on my current account for a one match viewing. I emailed DAZN reporting the unauthorised payment and they responded by telling me I had agreed to monthly payments contract for one year which was news to me. I told them to cancel the unknown agreement on my part. Firstly I was told not possible and then later said it could be cancelled with a £20 cancellation fee. Blocked further PayPal payment. No more DAZN for me.
January 28, 2025 at 4:32 pm #298079Bad news that. Still no luck getting card payments to processing stage, despite card verification different devices, browsers, home and work, etc. The subscribe button just greys out and nothing happens. No in locked games or owt so definitely not processed. Given up again. Something’s not right but I’m fecked if I know what.
January 29, 2025 at 3:24 pm #298150Today received email saying they cannot process my monthly subscription and if they don’t receive payment they will cancel my subscription. Is that a win?

Yes, but they may block you from having any pass in future. The trick they pulled with you with signing you up to their account without you knowing has been done before with boxing matches.
Quite a lot of people have bought fights PPV and in the tiny small print in terms and conditions it mentions you have to sign up to fixed membership just to be able to buy the one off fight. There has been many times when they’ve pulled that trick and still been taking money out of peoples accounts without them even realising.
Dazn have been doing crap like that for quite a while. I used to watch a boxing podcast every sunday and it got brought up a lot on there. Worst possible company that could have even gotten the rights. I used to like the old platform and watched many games on there.
