The modus operandi will be to take it to the eleventh hour and then ask Swann for a sweetener to leave.
I don’t think that will be the case, I suspect he’ll be gone before the case goes to court, in fact I wouldn’t be surprised if he hasn’t gone already.
Reading that ironfromafar, two things, 1st, anything that Herbert says should be taken with a pinch of salt, 2nd, Hilton is almost certainly looking for a way out.
My own thoughts on the upcoming court case, I think that the case will be unopposed and Swann will get an eviction order.
Unfortunately that will leave with nowhere to play as Hilton will have gone.
Was it ever going to end any other way?
I sincerely hope I’m wrong.1 user thanked author for this post.
I’ve no idea what the evidence the judge in Leeds will accept and who gives evidence and how a ruling will be made.
Yesterday, Hilton ignoring and sticking two fingers up to the council and SAG’s safety certificate by admitting close on a thousand extra supporters into GP above the amount allowed, followed by him abusing the council and SAG publicly on Facebook will certainly not do his case any good. This is a post from Hilton’s new best friend and public spokesman on the clappers group forum.
“ Where the hell do Humberside Police get their intelligence from.
There was never ever going to be trouble today, welcoming Jimmy Deans former club to Glanford Park.
Peterborough’s attendance at home was half what we took away last week, so they were never going to bring many, but the police decided to put the fear of god in them anyway.
All the police presence today is a waste of manpower and if I was the club I’d not be paying no police bill.
Talk about getting paid for doing naff all.
Oh and the SAG officer can suck my left one too….. lot more than 2500 here you jobsworth”That’ll go down well with the powers that be!
post something meaningful.
Oh the irony Iron-Bore.
Decent enough squad for the league we’re in but if they are being managed by a pub team manager…………

A football club only pay for police officers who enter the stadium, the council tax payers foot the bill for officers outside the stadium and the football club have input on the amount of officers deployed.
They do however have to pay for stewarding inside and around the perimeter of the stadium.
The safety certificate granted by the council under advice from the SAG stipulates the amount of stewards and medical staff that MUST be in attendance per head of support inside the stadium.
When a chairman ignores the safety certificate and then publicly on social media rubbishes the SAG and council it’s never going to end well.1 user thanked author for this post.
The only truthful part of Hilton’s statement was the part where he stated he will be meeting with the SAG this coming week, that’s not at his request either.
He really shouldn’t have resorted to social media to bad mouth the decisions of the SAG and North lincs council.
Ignoring the recommendations of the SAG yesterday will lead to serious consequences, hence the hurried closure of the turnstiles to the terraced stand yesterday, that wasn’t a decision made by the club.1 user thanked author for this post.
If your conscience allows to buy and eat meat killed in that barbaric way, carry on.
They’ll not see any of my money!Must have been Istan-bullshit then!
My grandfather was a butcher in Burton Stather a century ago, do you know how he butchered his pigs?
Thought not!
What a strange post, I assume you and Inspector cluseau wannabe Awaywego had both logged on after you’d been on an all dayer in the pub.
In answer to your question, no I didn’t know what your grandad did for a living or where he lived a century ago and to be perfectly honest, I don’t care.
The title of the thread is “Curried goat for all”
I’ve never said anybody else shouldn’t eat it, I’ve stated that I won’t eat it due to the method this caterers supplier uses to source the meat. For the final time, I’ve never been to Turkey.
I’m not sure who you’re confusing me with, you’re obviously not playing with a full deck.
Perhaps you need to go to a chemist for some more methodone pal.How did you manage when you worked in Turkey SNOT?
I’ve never been to Turkey, never mind worked there.
You’re obviously confusing me with someone else or clutching at straws…… or both. What you don’t eat Indian food SNOT, you don’t know what you’re missing.
No, I don’t, never have, never will.
Halal slaughtered meat, even proudly boast about it.
They sell Halal meat.

A mixture of Yes and No to your questions, unfortunately I don’t know in which order they go, I suspect nobody at the club does either.
DESPERATELY NEEDED, people to wear a yellow hi-viz jacket on Saturday, minimum wage but free entry to the stadium, although most of the time you’ll be facing away from the play on the pitch.
Not only banned from attending the stadium (claims Hilton has lifted his ban) but currently on conditional bail awaiting a crown court hearing for football violence.
He’s our owners mouthpiece! If you were the owner of a catering company, would you tender for a contract at a stadium where the owner is currently awaiting a court case to evict the person advertising for squatting in said stadium?
I can’t believe Hilton is advertising.New vacancy, well bloody loads really.
Now advertising for a company to take over the catering and bars at the club.
Basically he’s finished all the staff.
Situations vacant now include.
Chefs,
Waitresses,
Bar staff,
Refreshment point staff,And that’s 4 days before our first home game!
Expenses=accommodation costs.
I wonder how or why he feels Mr H has ‘shafted’ him?
If you work for someone and at the end of the month that employer doesn’t pay you for the work you’ve done, wouldn’t you claim you’ve been shafted?
The head of commercial has posted that he’s left the club and prepared to stack shelves, serve street food or work in a call centre instead of working in sport.
Claims he’s been shafted.the Judge will also have to consider how much Hilton has paid in Tax owed during Swanns final weeks, players and staff wages from before he took over SNOT, plus any other missing details, also why Swann put the ground and land in his name in the first place, we just want it sorting out as quick as possible.
I disagree Mick,it’s a commercial law court, nothing whatsoever to do with how much Hilton claims to have paid to god know who else.
It’s about a contract and nothing else!Swann owns a stadium and land.
Swann and Hilton exchanged contracts where Hilton agreed to buy it.
Hilton didn’t honour the contract by not paying.
Swann demanded his money.
Hilton is squatting on the land using “loopholes” he’s dreamt up.
I only see a judge making one decision.I have no legal experience but this is not a magistrates court with people making decisions based on whether football fans will be able to watch their team in a new season or whether the players will be able to earn their wages.
It surely will be a judge ruling on the legalities of a contract signed between two parties.I’m certain the judge won’t be interested in any he said/he said, only what’s legally binding.
We don’t know what was agreed on paper in January, I’m certain the judge will and make a judgement on what’s legally binding. You can’t beat a good pint of mild. Difficult to find these days!!
Rudgates ruby mild on regularly in the Malt Shovel.
If you can find a Sam Smiths pub still open they serve a good mild. -
