in small font too…
I just went to the tattooist to get David’s name tattooed on my cock in a show of solidarity with our saviour and lord however, I had to settle for D.WHAM as my cock was too small to fit on all of his names!
All this “but whole will fund Scunthorpe United if David White-Hilton-Anderson-Mellors pulls out” are presupposing that he has the funds to continue his funding if he stays. With all the issues around non-payment of wages / pensions, the mounting list of CCJs, and the lack of transparency around the source of his funds, I am left feeling that he doesn’t have a pot to p1$$ in and we are already doomed.
I hope I am proven wrong, but I suspect that unless something changes rapidly, regardless of whether David White-Hilton-Anderson-Mellors is at the helm, the club may not see the end of this season.

Sadly I fear you are correct Siderite – we appear to be heading into oblivion and too many fans refuse to believe that David Hilton-White-Anderson-Mellors is not going to be our saviour. He bought us time and hope, and now we’ve ran out of both.

Forgetting the ‘other stuff’ surrounding Hilton; failure to pay wages, taxes, and pensions should be enough to sound the alarm bells.

Does anyone feel like this is a replay of what happened at Bury? David Hilton-Anderson-White-Mellors comes in, promises the world and when it all starts to fall apart, blames sections of the supporters, thus turning life long supporters against each other.

This whole sordid debacle is easy to resolve.
1. Swann sorts out the ‘ransom strip’
2. David Hilton completes the purchase of the ground as agreed
3. Scunthorpe United Football Club Limited pay the outstanding pension payments
4. Scunthorpe United Football Club Limited pay the outstanding player / staff wages
5. David Hilton reveals the source of his wealthNot all those need to happen to resolve this however, the last three are most important for me, and if done would wipe the slate clean, allowing the club, supporters, and chairman to put this all behind us and move on.

Time for Elliott and Sharp?
They may not have the big budget (mind you, one has to ask if David Hilton-White-Anderson-Mellors actually has the cash), but at least we know their intentions are honest.
After seeing the way the Buxton staff and players reacted on Saturday I am currently p1$$ing myself laughing!
Sing after me “Where’s your 3 points gone, where’s your 3 points gone?”….far far away!

The statement makes for an uncomfortable listen. Whilst I feel for him and his mental health challenges that he discussed on the statement, I feel that he did not fully addressed the issues raised by the Athletic.
David Hilton-White-Adnderson-Mellors didn’t address the multiple linked identities, the compulsory company winding up order, or the issue raised about the lack of transparancy around his current finances and where his funds are coming from. I fear this story is far from over, and if I am honest, I wouldn’t be surprised to see David Hilton-White-Adnderson-Mellor walk away from the club very soon.

Mo Farah, the man who was an also ran until he switched coaches to Salazar. Then Salazar get’s a doping related ban, Farah leaves him to get coached by Gary Lough, and returns back to being an also ran.
Move along, nothing to see here!
I also suspect that a certain facebook group will be going into full meltdown too.

From what I understand the story had to be pushed in front of a team of lawyers at The Athletic before they could post it. Given that it has finally been posted one has to assume that the legal team at The Athletic are comfortable enough with the evidence linking the various identities (Anderson, White, Hilton).
Although I am not surprised, I am most definitely alarmed about the whole situation. I will be interested to read David Hilton’s response. If what The Athletic have posted is false, then surely, David Hilton will begin litigation proceedings against the author and publisher of article, and if not, his actions would likely be seen as confirming the article as correct.
Whatever happens, between the abandoned match ruling and this article, we have an interesting week ahead!
I was at the infamous Darren Deadman match and thought after that game that I would never see a worse refereeing performance in my life. Well today’s ref was like “hold my beer”.
He got just about every call wrong and the abandonment at the end was just farcical. To me it looked like he bottled it and gave the win to Buxton (hence the player celebrations), but I suspect when he had time to reflect on his decision, he knew he had made a grave error and then called it as match abandoned. I suspect the referee assessor may want to have a few words with him.

If the challenge was the reverse way would we be asking for a red? I think if we’re honest we would say “Yes”. A reckless, ill-timed challenge that forced the ref to make a decision. No complaints from me.
I’m going for a comfortable win for the Iron;
ATFC 0 SUFC 3
Attendance: 1286 (782 Away)Right, hearing over. Will try and summarise it in this thread….
Longer than expected, but very bureaucratic.
Iron fans can breath a little easier, we’re not getting kicked out any time soon.

Lol Daz “So f*uck it ain’t gonna come down from York to watch the match” and you say my comment was more like from a school child, I was only reacting to your post and it got the comment it deserved, you really didn’t go because you didn’t get a phone call back lol, you’d have had to have gone to a ticket outlet no matter what, guess it’s a lessoned learned for you with your hectic schedule.
My original comments were me expressing my justified exasperation with the club for making it so much harder than it was last season and the season before, and unlike youself, at no point was I attempting to take cheap shots at fellow supporters!

I did not see a need at the time as she rarely goes to football and the few times I took her to GP over the previous 2 seasons I was able to get them through the ticket office by a simple phone call.
The fact still remains that by simply taking up the offer when purchasing your ticket then your Daughter would have the seat next to you if and when she wanted to come to a game at no extra cost to you, and no extra phone calls/messages on social media tyring to sort out a problem you didn’t need to have.
The fact still remains that I rang the club ticket line 5 times, left 2 messages, and even reached out to them on Twitter and did not receive a single response back.

“Absolutely no sympathy with you Daz”
Awaywego, I ain’t after your sympathy, was just posting my exasperation at how difficult it is to get additional tickets when needed.
“the club offered you not 1 but 2 season tickets for u12’s for free, why did you not take up their offer?”

“You could have just gone a bit earlier and sorted it at one of the ticket outlets ”
I work for a large company and manage staff in APAC, EMEA, LATAM, and AMER. With the numerous meetings and my heavy workload most day’s don’t wrap up until around 6:30PM. I don’t live local and the drive from my house to the ground takes an hour.
“Are you going to send your season ticket back in as a protest lol”
That is the sort of silly comment I expect from a school child, not a grown ass adult!

Had the usual pi55 poor service from the club.
I have been trying all day to get a u12’s ticket for my daughter for tonight. I am a season ticket holder and wanted to get her a free u12 ticket sat next to me. I cannot get the free ticket from the online ticket system as u12’s must have a full price ticket purchased at the same time. I have rang the SUFC ticket office 5 times today with no answer, left two messages for them to contact me, and even contacted them via X (the artist formally known as Twitter), all to no avail.
So f*ck, it ain’t gonna bother coming down from York to watch the match!
Nuneaton away, oh the memories are flooding back!
As of 12:37PM 6th July the accounts are *still* overdue:

Anyhoo…getting this back on track; As of 11AM 5th July the accounts are *still* overdue:
https://find-and-update.company-information.service.gov.uk/company/00123622
I’m not reading too much into this *just yet* as it could well be a legitimate mistake / delay however; we do need to keep a keen eye on this as I believe the current custodian of our club has had a company struck off by Companies House recently due to not filing accounts.
In non-league I suspect budgets are dictated by attendances, and looking at the average attendances in NLN for the 22/23 seasion (link below) I would suggest that we will have the largest average attendance for the coming season (especially if we are doing well).

If we can keep him off the physio’s bench then we have just made one hell of a signing!
OK, another question for the Brexit supporters.
What benefits did you expect Brexit would bring to this country?
