Why do I get the impression that this is another tedious attempt at a gotcha by you?

I believe there could be multiverses beyond our own one. I don’t think we need to assign deities to explain logic, morality or any other phenomena, be they physical or metaphysical.

Yes, but there would be no species able to interpret them (unless another intelligent species developed the ability to do so).

It’s never his fault, is it?

Be easy on II/IE. He might be one of the staff DH has allegedly not paid yet. :-)

He may have also blwon his budget on moonshine last weekend!

No he isn’t, and there was more than one saying the same thing. I am just saying that the stadium cap limit was clearly linked to talk of there not being enough stewards and this was the case before today. I mentioned SNOT since he spoke of stewarding issues days ago, so it’s not something plucked out of thin air.

Why else do you think SNOT was talking of a need for volunteers stewarding only a few days ago if this had nothing to do with it? Hmmm. It’s a mystery.

Yes, AWG, you’re right. They limited where supporters could be for no reason a week after such rumours arose. Well done.

I don’t claim to be certain, but I am relaying what was said by others elsewhere. The hypothesis fits, but it stands to reason that it could be wrong. Nor did I say that it matched what was said last week. However, all last week ‘itk’ people spoke of steward numbers as to why there was a mooted cap.

I have seen people summise that it’s because of a maximum number of supporters per steward. We don’t have enough stewards, and it’s this what caused the supporter cap talk. Instead of a supporter cap the outcome seems to be to limit the number of supporters per stand or something to this effect.

A better performance, especially in the second half until they tired. Still, a finely poised game and it could have gone either way. It just shows how the quality has improved in the women’s game. There are fewer easy games now.

You make the mistaken assumption that I haven’t come across such debates before. Your dogmatic approach doesn’t entice me into watching it, as I suspect it’s just seen as good by you since it fits your worldview. I would rather watch other stuff than your kind of fundamentalism.

Given the starting point you have I doubt it has anything useful other than to confirm the conclusion you hold. Life is too short for the same old debating points, so I will give it a miss.

It has to be Beatles, in sincerity. However, Shatner’s has a so bad it’s good quality. It’s just absurd how he could do this and no-one told him it’s not a good idea or they did and he didn’t listen. I can see how Futurama based Zapp Brannigan off him. I would have done the more absurd cover of Mr Tambourine Man, but the rules stated no Dylan, so anyone curious do check that out.

If we ignore issues, like staff payments, they will all evaporate and go away.

    The staff? Lol

Sadly the debts grow by the day. The Bills, final reminders and summons are piling in and being ignored. There is only so long you can keep the wolf , from the door. By no means an exhaustive list but he owes 1899 refunds, staff wages, academy staff wages, Academy accommodation providers, utilities, hotel bills, suppliers, why do you think smoking goat is doing catering at such short notice? The cupboard is bare and suppliers said no more until you pay up, the situation is a grave one and with regret I don’t see a way out of this mess.

You may have missed the sarcasm there. I just used staff payments as an example.

The saviour is the world’s most unfortunate man to only aggravate those after money and those with dishonest or immoral intentions and have to deal with them. It’s a good job they’re all crooked, otherwise we might have to have concerns about him.

    Wendi replies,

‘David White the boys found out on Tuesday night! And are devastated and have had no pay! With first years and the second years there was a full team with subs’

Just another day at the circus

It’s truly pathetic and I think there’s enough smoke here to have concerns. There are legitimate arguments for closing the academy with where we are, but absolutely none for refusing to pay and the way it’s been handled. No Swann to blame or ‘fans undermining’ either. He is the one who made these bad decisions. Unfortunately, I feel those unhappy about his handling of this will be slammed by those who see questioning Hilton as beyond the pale. As if none of these issues would exist if everyone just shut up about it.

There was a time when the majority supported Swann and derided those who dared to question. Now many of the same are deriding those sceptical of Hilton and accusing them of being Swann lovers. I take such grandstanding with a pinch of salt, because it will always be those questioning to blame.

It was alluded to in Kieran Maguire podcast that local clubs ‘know what’s going on’ with Hilton. We don’t know for sure what’s going on, but these snippets, along with some staff disgruntlement* and such should maybe be a wake up call not to just close minds to the possibility that Hilton is not that great and to keep an open mind.

*Of course Hilton has been lumbered with the most useless staff imaginable, along with every other problem that is not his fault at all. I will not believe any old nonsense about staff from the guy who called another fan a drug dealer based on nothing.

Typical underwhelming England so far. I don’t know why the penalty was overturned, though it was soft. Still, the VAR decisions against China were dafter.

If he is going to try and become a comedian he should at least make an effort to be funny.
