The club and James Moody have repeatedly said that they were initially rejected earlier sales and now have said that the change came after dialogue with the league. All on public platforms and with information that puts responsibility on the league. The club and James have to be the most risk taking and idiotic people to think they could get away with lying, since the league could just say this isn’t true (since they would not want to be held responsible for something they weren’t), over something that really isn’t worth this kind of hassle over.

Despite your claims, Facebook and twitter are hardly niche websites tucked away where people can’t see them. People have been sued for lying and spreading nonsense on them. Why risk being made to look like idiots by the league, or even potentially taken to task for lying over justifying some policy that would put extra pressure on staff just to print tickets with the known opponent on? Or for some worthwhile prank where they could giggle at stressed fans trying to get tickets for a game with two games to go? It seems the simplest explanation is that the club are telling the truth.

If it was because of the club, why do they continue to say it was because of dialogue with the league authorities? It would be easy for the league to refute, so it seems pointless to make stuff up.

Twitter’s a public platform, where people will get information and any falsehoods would be damaging. If he’s said anything false he could be in hot water. Could the authorities have missed this? Maybe, but why would Moody take the risk of putting him and the club in the frame for needless bother caused by lying over something like this?

Madden was a decent enough goalscorer for us, so I don’t think there’s room for complaint, but he wasn’t not as good as Hooper or Sharp. Not as good with the ball as Keogh or Hayes.

Well, Iran have been escalating themselves given their involvement with Hamas and Hezbollah for Oct 7th and Hezbollah missile barrages. Does this mean that Israel should have struck the embassy or launch attacks aimed at Iran? No, but it’s not just Israel involved. Iran have been escalating things themselves and this is a likely outcome. If there’s any way out there needs to be change on either side.

Personally, I think the biggest joke are the ‘peace activists’ who were cheering on Iran to destroy Israel over the weekend. It’s an Orwellian version of peace when their version is cheer on the Islamists on the other side and oppose attempts for any kind of coexistence. The Palestinian activists who push for the latter get abused and attacked by those who say they want peace.

Yes, and horses have more sentience than a less than 20 week old fetus, which make up the vast majority of abortions. The majority of late stage abortions are because the woman is at risk, and this is acceptable at this stage, in my opinion. So to use extreme outliers as a case against the majority seems emotional to me, as does talk of suffering for the majority of fetuses where sentience is not evident. Ultimately, I don’t think it’s some black and white case. Abortions shouldn’t be taken lightly, but the alternative to legal abortions are worse in that it leads to female control, whose rights trump that of something non-sentient, in my opinion.

Anyway, I realise this is a sensitive topic and it’s drifted off topic, so I will just leave it as I agree to disagree.

The catering premises are the responsibility of the caterer. They don’t cater for themselves, so if there’spoor hygiene, the fault usuallystems from human error. Some of the things I have been told originate from this year, and none reflect well on The Smoking Goat. A capable caterer should be able to achieve more than a 1 star hygiene rating through adequate kitchen management.

It will affect Michelle to be left with it, but that again comes from the caterers.

The former are not the norm, and are not excuses for women to risk death as it is now in some States due to religious control, and no I don’t think a fetus has the same sentience as a woman.
