6 points.
Boston 0-2 Iron
Eastleigh 1-2 IronHalloween, Bonfire night, Black Friday, Christmas… expensive time of year.
Anyone know a good hotel in Blackpool. UTI
Black Swann or summat?
Tad expectant on the crowd there lads their highest crowd up to now is 2200.
And they’ve only given us 650 tickets.3,865 is their record attendance at the Jakeman.
A heavy party / nights drinking for me when I posted… a tad carried away.I’ll still go for a 2-1 win to the Iron with a crowd of 2,650

How some react to our ‘goalkeeper crisis’… the dynamic duo need to enter the arena wearing cheekpieces, eye shields, a visor, blinkers, a hood and a tongue strap :-)
80 balls.
Blackpool, Notts County, Gainsborough, Tamworth away.
1/20 chance of one of those being drawn.”
Not sure on that, he’s seen the NL cup games which hasn’t worked.
Needed a stronger line up from the start which I wanted in the first post.
But credit for not being stubborn and doing the big change at halftime, hopefully another lesson [not? (RA inserted) ] learned,
and I can see he has learned overall and I am liking that.
Iron v Cumbrians starting X1 ?
Get out of jail card played.
Iron 3-0 Lynn
No reason to believe they will score more than one (does anyone?), and I foresee at least two goals from us. 2-1 Iron.
You were correct about them only scoring the one goal
Our two goals were both sat on the bench at kick off… Dan & Dec!
I’m sure AB will have learnt a valuable lesson – start with your strongest available 11.

H Carlisle 0‑1 L
A York 3‑1 W
A Southend 2‑0 W
H Boreham Wood 1‑1 D
H Truro City 4‑0 W
A Forest Green 1‑1 D
H Wealdstone 2‑1 W
A Brackley 1‑1 D
H FC Halifax 1‑1 D
A Sutton Utd 3‑2 W
H Woking 3‑1 W
A Tamworth 2‑1 WOne defeat in 12 games – and that was today’s 0-1 defeat after going down to 10 men in the 40th minute.
I’d like a Ferrari (not really)… but I can’t afford one.
AB & the boys are doing brilliantly.
Scunthorpe UNITED.

3rd best defence in the league.
Only conceded 10 goals in 12 games.
Only conceded more than a single goal in just one game – and that was in a 3-2 away win.
We have a budget.
The team is exceeding most people’s expectations.
Let’s celebrate the team’s & AB’s successes.
Nobody is perfect and everyone in every walk of life makes mistakes or perceived mistakes.

It’s a funny old game. FGR also lost their unbeaten start today; going down 0-1 at home to Rochdale.
Put that game to bed and move on to the next one.Bit of player rotation going on. Dec and Dan only on the bench. Rowley not in the squad.
Zoiks!
I’m sure AB knows what he’s doing.Promotion last season.
A 53.85% win rate whilst in post.
What more does AB have to do to convince people?Andy Butler 53.85% win rate at Scunny.
Mark Hughes 41.95% win rate at Carlisle.
Has a little of the ‘Adkins Magic’ rubbed off on to Andy?
Their danger man is Regan Linney who is the joint top scorer in the division with 9 goals.
In terms of minutes played per goal scored:
1) D. Whitehall (6) 77 mins per goal.
2) E. Dieseruvwe (9) 91 mins pg.
3) T. Works (4) 108 mins pg.
4) D. Howe (5) 114 mins pg.
5) L. Norris (4) 117 mins pg.Great to have two players in the top 5.
They are making a bit of a day of it at Brunton Park:
When do they score?
0 to 15 = 5
16 to 30 = 2
31 to 45 = 146 to 60 = 6
61 to 75 = 3
75 to 90 = 6
90 &beyond = 124 goals.
Only failed to score in two games. Those two games were against (now) 2nd placed Rochdale and (now) 8th placed York.
Do they struggle against those at the business end of the table?
They seem to start fast? If we don’t concede in the first 15, then hopefully we can capitalise from 16min to half time.
Strong at the start & end of second half.
They seem to have a nap in the middle of the second half – substitutions at 60 mins and hopefully take advantage. Now, I don’t think they’ll score against us.
Iron 3-0 umbrians
Carlisle have played 3 times following a midweek game so far this season:
P3 W1 D0 L2 F4 A4
H Rochdale 0-2
H Truro 3-0
A Sutton 1-2Likewise, we are:
P3 W2 D1 L0 F7 A1
A Southend 2-0
H Truro 4-0
A Brackley 1-1I’ve had an acca including a win to us.
And a separate 3-1 (20/1) to us.Sorry Fansy.
However, I only have a tenner per set of fixtures.
All under control here :-)

Thanks, Rene. That sounds about right.
Crap weather but it made the drive back home an enjoyable one :-)
You don’t replace Clunan, you slam the door behind him. Awful player
We look a much more formidable team now.
AB seems to have sorted the defence out now too.
Much more dynamic breaking forward.
Speed kills.Would they have developed into the same players that they are now if the academy/U18s hadn’t been disbanded?
The nutshell answer is: Yes
Reason: Sold / Released before it was closed. In Dec’s case… 12 years earlier. They were all shown the door or sold before the Academy was terminated.
I think TSF was in the senior year of the last batch of U18s and completed his Apprenticeship by the end of its last full year.
If memory serves, it was closed at the beginning of the following season.1 user thanked author for this post.
