Who does? Even Bucks has dumped him!

Wanting to ban meat and dairy farming isn’t being left-wing!
It’s being vegan.
I doubt if any of the Labour Councillors on Tyneside would give up their Sunday roast and rice pudding!

I’d describe five games as a gentle jog rather than a run!
Beat Aldershot and we might break into a trot.

Heavens, NI, talk about pot, kettle and black. Corbyn was a joke and Starmer supported him, along with most Labour MPs, you and the rest of the usual suspects on here.
Nice bit of whataboutery there Bucks. That didn’t take long to surface did it?
The Labour leaders you name were just that, leaders of the opposition.
What we are dealing with here is not a parish councillor, nor the chairman of the tennis club. Not even a member of the opposition.
This person is the Prime Minister. Just let that sink in for a minute…..
….that’s right, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.
No member of the public from those four home nations voted for her. She was elected to the post by members of the Tory Party, several of whom are already beginning to question their decision.
Do you really think Ms Truss (or, indeed, Mr Johnson before her) is the best person to hold what is the most important position in government?
Do we really want another “let’s wait and see” moment?
I remember three years ago on this board some posters were saying “Boris will do for me”. “Let’s see how it goes”.
Well we know how that ended up, don’t we?
The country can’t afford another useless PM.

I recall getting mildly excited the last time we won there.
Didn’t go too well after that though, did it?

“We must be careful not to believe things simply because we want them to be true”.
Physicist R P Feynman
It’s logical though.
Apparently anti-Semitism is a Labour thing. So anyone disagreeing with him or berating the Tories must be a Labour voter and therefore anti-Semitic.
Simples!
perhaps a lot of this could have been avoided if they’d shared their plans with the Cabinet first
Perhaps it could have been avoided if the party had elected a competent leader instead of just another bumbling cartoon character.
The metro is not running for months due to track doubling in the area
Thanks for that. Used the Metro between Wallsend and Newcastle last week, but didn’t know about the line south of the river.
I’m seeing my mate from Shields tomorrow so I’ll get the full SP.
Sunderland home to Wigan that day btw.

South Shields is a good shout well supported side would be a tough game but the joys of Tynemouth and Whitley Bay for the weekend would be worth it lots of decent beer to be found.
South Shields is a bit of a shithole. So if you’re looking for smart bars and craft beers you’ll be disappointed.
However, if you’re up for a cheap curry head for Ocean Road where you can fill your boots (The Spice Garden was always our favourite).
If you want to check out Tynemouth and Whitley Bay, fine! But you’ll have to either get the ferry across, use the pedestrian tunnel or head back into Newcastle then out again.
Sunderland is actually easier to get to, and that’s an even bigger shithole!
If you’re staying over stay in Newcastle and get the Metro out to Shields for the game and come straight back (or go for a curry then go back). It’s not a place that comes alive after dark.
Well, not in a good way!

I think Gary Lineker was wearing some at Italia 90!
We didn’t the last time!
Definitely a win for the claret & blues.
In one week, then out for the next three.
Sounds like Kgosi Ntlhe!

there are so many things happening over which a government has little or no control.
This government couldn’t control a pet hamster!
Watch out ahead! A big blue car doing a U-turn.

South Shields away!

Fansy’s not alone. I see J R-M was heckled “Tory scum” when he arrived at the ICC.
Nonsense!
Any team that lost their 3:00pm ko was below Yeovil on goal difference.
There were seven teams below them when our game started!
Loft scored a 92nd minute equaliser for the Gasheads yesterday.
Is that why you buy yellow boxer shorts?

That can’t be right. We we told it was just the “Liebour” Left that told porkies!

Still no definition of supply side problems.
And I’d like a definition of what “as for energy prices, the reason we’re in this entire mess is down to the stupid drive to net-zero” actually means.
Been like that all season.
Obviously if you’re non-league they don’t give a shit.
Until you draw a Pl team in the third* round of the FA Cup!
*fourth round for us!
Bucks for chancellor! He obviously knows more about the economy than Rishi or Kwasi.
Case in point.
That’s because there are more southern teams in the National League.
Why?
Probably to do with more money being fed into them.
Those big money earners need something to do with their wad now the 45p top rate has been abolished!
Yet another Bucksiron climate change thread in disguise!
September 28, 2022 at 5:33 pm in reply to: The Tory, Oops, I mean Labour Conference is Going Well #245704What was it Gurny came out with: “The Tories are finished”. We all know what happened next.
What was it you came out with: Something along the lines of the economy was safer in Conservative hands?
Clearly it isn’t, and when the BoE has to step in and tell the PM and Chancellor they’ve cocked up big-time it’s more than just a tad concerning.
You’d have thought that they’d have learned their lesson after the previous two times!

To a Geordie Gateshead is the South!
True story. When I married Mrs NI we were both teaching in the same school in Newcastle. When they asked us where we were going to live we told the other staff we’d bought a house south of the River Tyne. They were genuinely aghast, as was my father in law who saw it as akin to moving to a third world country!
Saw an interesting map of the UK showing what was captioned “the real North/South divide. The line ran pretty much from Grimsby down towards Notts and Derby, then south of Birmingham towards Bristol. Everything S & E of this being the affluent south. Everything N & W being the impoverished north.
So maybe it’s not a geographical issue but a sociopolitical one?
How Scunthorpe United like was that last night?
Tappy-lapping around, concede two goals because your CB isn’t concentrating. Get back in it, go ahead, then concede another soft goal after a goalkeeping howler.
Taft could get a call up on that showing! 😂
