If Stan hadn’t pissed about mid-season we could have been 8/9pts clear by now!

Should have been a one horse race!

Aye, they’re not pensioners like us Rene!
Also some clubs have 2/3 games in hand on us to make up.

February 15, 2025 at 8:34 pm in reply to: Yet another…’what have you been listening today?’ Thread #299036Went to see the Dylan biopic “Complete Unknown” the other night.
Not a huge Dylan fan but thoroughly enjoyed it. Anyone else been?
Probably the only thing that went to his head!
The boys will deliver today.
Hopefully we go top.Chester were never going to do anything other than win at home to Rushall.
Three words – Richie ‘Effin’ Bennett!
Bound to score.
Fish on recall?
He’ll have forgotten tariffs by next week and will have thought of something new. Like putting viagra in the oceans to increase fishing yields!
My local boozer is a business.
I don’t have to put money into it, but I do because I believe it is an important community asset.
Oh yes they have. With Warrington’s star player Connor Woods.
Make of that what you will!
We don’t want two of The King’s loyal knights paying him a visit!
Was there yesterday.
Shields well organised and hard working. Made the current league leaders look very ordinary. No real focus point for any Chester attack. No reason why we can’t beat them at AAGP next month.
Went with my mate who’s a Chester fan of 60+ years. Well pissed off at the final whistle!
Went to watch South Shields v Chester today and in no way did Chester look like a team that had just won seven on the bounce.
Travelling fans voicing their displeasure despite being top of the league. Seems AB is running the same gauntlet as a number of managers.
It’s been a feature of the league this season that clubs can put a good run together followed by a dip in form. Rinse & repeat indeed!
Question is, who is going to put in a good run through March and April? Hope we don’t peak too early.

Saw the thread title and thought it was about who could lift the heaviest sheep above their heads.
I saw the tread title and thought it was the ground staff’s attempt at getting Beck to score!

“Withdrawal from the competition”
Like last season’s playoffs?
Shirt sales alone.
5000+ at £40 a pop £200,000 now how much Scunny get from that ?
Assuming we got them off Kelme for nowt?
Trump Tariffs.
Shades of Brex*t?
But are still scoring a shit-load of goals!
My mate is a Sunderland ST holder and always leaves on 85 minutes.
You wouldn’t believe how many goals he’s missed!
Any chance of a quick synopsis for those of us who wouldn’t touch “X” with a sterilised barge pole?

Whitehall, Harris and Carlton scored well over 60 goals last season in NLN, but couldn’t even manage a shot a game under hapless Andy
I think you’ll find that Whitehall has done okay under both hapless Andy and feckless Jimmy!
Chester on a roll too, despite selling their star striker to Accrington.
Need to pull up our proverbial socks to stay in the mix.

64 dropped the “fans” bit from his username a while back.
Why? Discuss.
It was the wrong time to play Rushall for several reasons.
Shrug those shoulders and move on!
CONJECTURE
Everton are just like Spurs and Man United.
They can appointment as many different managers as they want but as long as those in charge at the top are still ruling the roost the results will remain the same.
If they reappoint Moyes then they’ve gone backwards over the last 12 years!
Does he have a henchman called Fat Bastard?
Oh yes, there he is!
Is this sectarianism?

Make sure you both use protection before you start.
Oh! So that’s what a night-hood is.
