    Bridge, water, under, the.

Sometimes you have to take a step back before you can move forwards (Godden eg).

If they’re any good they’ll be picked up a year or so down the line.

Miller, Ugbo, Ameobi, Thomas, Dunnwald-Turan. It’s a tough choice!

    Wow!

His stock has risen by £1m in the space of a few minutes!

Ugbo, who is 22 years old, has never played a professional game for Chelsea. Since graduating their academy, the Lewisham-born forward has been on loan to five different destinations.

He impressed on his most recent excursion with Belgian side Cercle Brugge, operating at a goal every other game.

That led to speculation of a permanent exit, which could generate Chelsea a small windfall. There was talk of a £5m move to Genk, another Belgian side. In fact, he has already been in advanced talks with them and a medical was booked in.”

KDT must be worth at least £5 million if this ex-loanee is worth £4 million….

“Chelsea still have an unwieldy squad, even after clawing back more than £91m in sales so far. Ike Ugbo is set to add another £4m to that figure, with Genk and Marseille battling for his signature.”

I know of people who actually went to Sunderland games at the SoL but spent most of the time in the concourse, swilling lager and watching the game on the monitors!

If those players think they are better than L2, or they don’t want to play in the role they’ve been asked to play then I may partially agree.

But from what those who actually went are saying that doesn’t sound the case. Particularly now Pugh is back in his best position.

Let’s see how we fare against the new boys.

If you want to be optimistic then opt for 3-5-2!

Rowe and O’Malley wing backs, three in CM (including Pugh in his correct position), and Green & Bunn up top.

That’s almost as optimistic as putting Hallam in your starting lineup!

The apologists will still find some way to blame it on the fans/covid though.

The apologists will say he’s neither a fan nor a customer, so his views don’t count!

I find it absolutely bizarre we signed him in the first place when we had KVV, Olomola, Loft and Jarvis on the payroll.

But he’s not the first is he?

    Vose, Margetts, El Mahani, Dales.

Obviously paying his wage instead of a team of maintenance workers!

Cashless makes sense at turnstiles and the ticket office. Even the refreshments kiosks, as it saves time sorting out change and cuts out errors related to such.

But where Staffy’s draw tickets are concerned I can’t see how it would be an issue, especially if he’s the only one handling the cash.

Handing the lucky winner(s) their prize money at halftime is another matter however.

    Sands Venue gift vouchers perhaps!

I doubt if another 44 0-0 draws will be enough to keep us up.

Why haven’t you entered the prediction league BS? You don’t even have to leave the house to play.

You still use Iron Bru, so how about giving Matt £15 to help fund the site?

    Ivan Toney…

…deemed good enough to start for a Premier League side.

This despite the club not busting a gut to sign him when we had the opportunity.

can’t remember did we have any catering?,

Hot Vimto and a Mars Bar for me!

I started going during those heady Div 2 days and I remember our fall through the leagues to Div 4 was as disappointing as our recent demise.

What stopped us going out of the FL was the voting system which saved our bacon. That and the 1969-72 squad – you all know their names. Who were Iron heroes to a man.

Oh for a team with their attitude now. Perhaps even a Ron Ashman!

Neil’s fault? – I doubt it. Showing faith in Pugh is no sacking offence.

But putting an U23s CM at RB for the THIRD time (not all under Cox admittedly) has to raise questions.
