Still not having it with the Cox comparison.
If you’re going to compare Scunny with a National Team surely it has to be San Marino.

But he could always get one of his companies to rename Wednesday “Tuesday” to fit in with his promises!

I’d settle for a Cox side drawing after going a goal down.
I’d also settle for drawing a home game after a 5-0 away victory.
And I’d definitely settle for being three points ahead at the top of the table.
All fast-fading dreams I’m afraid.

From the thread title I thought Swann must be turning the land into a golf course!
Cut-and-paste from September 3rd?

Well done to the Hungarians for booing the Marxist knee taking for BLM yesterday! Unlike our lily livered libtards who celebrate such submission!
They were top class and loud throughout! Something for their country to be proud of! Shows what happens when you live in a country which allows patriotism and doesn’t allow libtards to hate on their nation! I wish England fans would follow suit!
Maybe we should boycott the crap served up at the SVS on a Saturday and go and watch the fantastic football on show at the training sessions instead?

I put a moth-eaten old sweater on Vinted and had zero interest.
I guessed that was because it was in a terrible state.
My daughter put up a pair of old jeans that were ripped to shreds on both knees.
She sold it in a few hours.
And how many of those chairmen’s clubs had won only one of their last 24 games, including losing the last three by an aggregate of 2-13?
This is not a normal “poor run of form” it’s a bloody disaster three years in the making.
Nor is it 11 games into the season, it’s 57 league games in charge plus 8 cup competition matches that we’ve lost as well.
I sincerely hope that he’s doing something behind the scenes now, because if he’s following a “let’s wait and see” policy he really is in cloud cuckoo land!

Nice easy game coming up on Saturday.
Should breeze it 5-0!

The fans have alienated the owner?
Yeah, right!
And in the meantime we continue to get hammered every week. The attendances drop below 2,000 and we become detached at the bottom of the league.
Because by the time of the shareholders meeting that’s where we’ll be!
Action now, not words later.
“Protests are pathetic full stop”
And the alternative is?
Swann has actually hired some very good managers, it’s just a shame they’ve been very good at clubs other than Scunthorpe United!
(Alexander + Lucetti apart)
It has nothing whatever to do with me and everything to do with MY club
So have you sent a copy to the club/chairman?
A one word answer is fine.

The players are running around like headless chickens and cannot do the basics and I mean the real basics like defence, midfield and attack.
That is down to the manager and coaches.
That, and the players being crap!
Is that the bloke who on the last podcast said we weren’t being hammered every week?
Well I’d say 3-0, 4-1 & 6-1 were hammerings, wouldn’t you?

the Sir Ian Botham Executive Lounge at the Sands Venue Stadium
Sounds like the “Pennine Suite” off Phoenix Nights!
If Bucks were to apologise to everyone individually it would take him ages.
Hence the open letter.

I fear drawing all of our remaining games and finishing on 42 pts won’t be enough!
It’s okay, Bucks has written an open letter.
Things should get moving soon.

You’ll need a couple of pricks.
The good news is they’re both at the club now!
My dislike of NUFC is well documented. And I think the FA has dropped a major bollock by sanctioning the takeover.
But it has created a buzz around the region and a feel good factor despite there being no guarantee of success.
Replica shirt sale are suddenly through the roof. Ironically via Ashley’s Sports Direct!
Oh for a similar feeling about Scunthorpe United.

Cox & Lillis sacked Monday morning. McMahon put in as caretaker until Christmas.
Nowt changes and Swann has two contracts to pay off, so less money.
A lose-lose situation!

Take a minute or two to think about the irony of that comment!
Now that’s a headline we’re all looking forwards to seeing!
October 9, 2021 at 10:04 pm in reply to: Harrogate away, time to show our fury as supporters? #215222I was in the home side with two (neutral) mates, as I couldn’t get a ticket from SUFC.
Have to admit to “doing a Bartonscorpion” and leaving when the penalty went in.
Only the second time in my life I’ve done it. And the other time was a car parking issue!
Are you having to self-isolate Bobby?
We’re rubbish. That’s football, deal with it.
Isn’t that the job of the chairman and his team? To deal with it!
Pushing the blame onto us fans, just like your dad/gaffer.
