They must have shown a different Rochdale game on iFollow Awaywego. Green was worse than sh1te against Swindon. He improved marginally to the level of sh!te against Rochdale.

Pace is no use whatsoever if you never do anything with the ball.

Can everyone take notice, you CAN pay cash for refreshments and you CAN take your own refreshments in as well (within reason). It is an urban myth that you can’t please stop perpetuating it.

And yet the club continue to perpetuate the urban myth evertime they try to sell us tickets for the cashless stadium on the OWS.

Before Staffgate gets totally out of hand has anyone actually heard John’s version of events?

It could just be as simple as going cashless means that selling draw tickets is not practical. I assume going cashless is for Covid relaTed reasons and many English clubs seem to have done the same thing this season.

Of course if we are sure he has just been told to “do one” then I fully support some kind of public protest. I worked with Staffy very briefly when I was an apprentice electrician about 50 years ago and he used to wear an Iron shirt under his overalls long before replica kits were a thing. Iron legend more so than most ex players.

A real live Hippo would be better than Green based on his 2 games this season.

Agtee with Lesgeo regarding CB’s, Kenyon and Watson.

If that is as fit as Kenyon gets he will have a backside full of splinters by next May.

Lots of us have had our say about Rory but he was good today. Given he is going to be playing for the next few Weeks then let’s hope he finally takes his chance.

Poor first half but better in the second. I really don’t like our anti football approach but needs must.

6 pointer coming up on Tuesday.

I think if you check recent history UTI 99 then it’s approximately 8 years since the club was influenced by what fans think (or trolls as you charmingly call your fellow supporters).

Clutching at straws here but we have had a couple of decent loans from Forest. Yates was one of our best ever and Gabriel was very tidy.

Remember the Carlisle game. Rory’s finest hour and a half.

Carlisle outplayed us and Rory won us the game with some great saves. Let’s hope he is on song again against Cumbrian opposition tonight.

Yes £140 gets you all league games. I think our usual 1 FA cup game is extra and for some reason our 1 League cup game is not shown.

You can get video in the UK for League games that are not 15:00 on Saturday’s.

That is an EFL rule that was relaxed while fans could not attend but is now back in place.

If you have a decent VPN you can “locate” your phone or PC abroad and get all league matches home and away.

Awaywego is right about home support.

When we are crap it drops to 2000

When we do really well it rises to 4000

When we are OKish it’s about 3000

When we get to Wembley it’s about 10000

    Been that way for years.

Kenyon has shown enough for me to be the closest thing we have had to a Bish since Bish so he plays all games he is fit to play in.

Perry has shown potential so far but not enough to get the nod over Kenyon or Beeston. Unless Beeston plays as a 10 (which I think might end up being his best position) then Perry will be a second half sub for now.

I probably would start Wilson instead of Green although I don’t think Cox will. Green excites with his pace and directness but continued in pre season to deliver very little with his final ball. Green is still more Dales than Holmes for me so far but still hopeful he will improve. Impact sub for me when young Wilson tires.

Only seen Davis for 45 minutes but Onariase looks more solid to me and has never let us down. Would certainly not drop Manny for someone who has not trained for the last week. I would also probably give Jessop ahead of O’Neil although that is a close one and Cox probably won’t agree.

    Bilson
    Pugh
    Onariase
    Taft
    O’Malley
    Wilson
    Kenyon
    Beeston
    Bunn
    Loft
    Jessop

It will help our young prospects enormously to be surrounded by harder working and more committed role models than has been the case for 3 years.

Agree that Jessop, Wilson and Pugh look to have something. Collins also has a bit about him. Not seen enough of Shrimpton and Gallimore yet to have a view but it would be great if a number of these guys can follow O’Malley into building good careers for themselves.

Bit of a reality check against a very good Lincoln side who could and probably should have had 3 or 4.

Small consolation but any of last seasons first 11’s would definitely have shipped the four. Kept working and trying which is a step forward. Agree with Tonka the keeper will be disappointed with their second but made a couple of decenter saves as well.

Disappointing to see Millen injured within 5 minutes. Davis went off injured after 44 minutes improving Taft’s reputation.

Agree goals are going to be hard to come by against decent sides.

Injuries to Beeston and or Kenyon together with the sadly almost inevitable Hallam injuries would leave us dependant on youngsters in midfield.

I am discounting Hippolyte as he has had chances without ever looking the part.

Unless one of our youngsters or trialists morphs into a Ryan Yates type we need some more experience in the midfield.

Tuesday against Lincoln is probably the last good chance for trialists to impress.

You would think Cox would want a near starting 11 to play most of the Wimbledon game. Second 11 to play Grantham on the following Tuesday but with respect to Grantham not a real test.

I usually sit in the East stand but have stood in Donny Road for the friendlies. Easier to manage keeping distance.

Saw some familiar faces so I’m probably not the only one doing this.

Have moved to the West stand for my season ticket this year. My thinking was just in case Swann starts building his apartments over the East stand and closes it. Now thinking with infections soaring again moving to the busiest part of the ground might not be a smart move even for us double jabbed.

At my age I’m one of Boris’s dispensables.

Another encouraging performance for me. Had some decent chances and played a bit of football. Probably just shaded the game but sucker punched with a cracking shot for their goal.

To be fair Hull didn’t have many Championship quality players in their team on that showing. A fairly unfit looking Huddleston showed the most quality for them first half.

2 trialists in centre midfield. Dont know who they are. Both did OK. The taller dark haired guy hit 2 or 3 quality crossfield passes and was probably the pick of the 2.

Wide left trialist came on for 2nd half and showed some neat touches. Watson’s kicking still poor and way too quiet for me.

Most of our own young lads did well.

It could be that players that have not played an efl league game are excluded from the 23 and therefore from the 1 year contract rule.

Millen and O’Neil have not played an efl league game.

We can only do hopeful punts on our budget.

At least someone with professional football experience and qualifications is seeing them train and play before taking the punt.

Last year we seemed to hand out 2 year deals based on agent recommendations and you tube videos.

Rather have hopeful punts than useless cnuts.

I am hopeful we might end up with a better team than the one we had the previous season for the first time in at least 5 years.

Maybe not much better but just enough to keep our league status.
