    True.
but we have gone from one extreme to the other over the last 3 and a bit seasons, the Chairman disappears from the media and I haven’t seen him about at home games either, so don’t know if he comes to games or not.

but it doesn’t matter how much you dress it up UTI99 the club is a shambles, we haven’t scored more than one goal in a game in the last 14 games, we were promised attacking football this season but do to our usual injuries we have been playing with 5 at the back and our best young prospects either unused subs or not in the squad, yet loanees don’t seem to be of the quality of other clubs in the divisions loanees.

hence after a 4 game unbeaten run we leave our young guns out who had beat Tranmere to put players in the team who haven’t exactly set the place alight and we then play another midfielder out of position and leave our biggest goal threat on the bench and play a loan striker upfront who is 6 inches smaller than their central defence and again for around the 10th time this year we haven’t had a shot on target.

The difference BLT was we did our homework on them and had a game plan and set up to stop them scoring but I think they just came here to win the game.

“Lillis needs putting out to pasture, completely inept, closely followed by Cox.”

I wish we had Mark Lillis and Neil Cox on the pitch, because Exeter then would have to do their homework on us especially how to stop Lillis who was a fantastic player.

but then again Burny you won’t have seen him play, way before your time.

When you set up like the away team in a home game and play a 5ft 8 in striker on his own upfront and our most liable goal scorer on the bench because you have been doing your homework on a certain player you can understand why we have only scored 4 goals.

At home it should have been Exeter doing there homework on us, I bet they never bothered.

On iOS on the keyboard press the blue enter key and that saves it or it did for me, so possibly on Android it will as well, but doesn’t work on my laptop.

    Words fail me.
it was like watching a Alan Knill team the way they passed it about across the back side to side going nowhere then hoofing it upfield to a striker who is small and up there on his own.
it took us over 75 minutes before we put any real pressure on their goal but that only last 2 minutes, there was no urgency in the play and too much tip tapping and losing it, we got out muscled all over the pitch and only 2 efforts on target and not sure whether the first was a cross or a shot, pathetic second half and now we are starting to concede a few we still haven’t sorted more than one in a game.
what happened to the 4 4 2 attacking football we still aren’t seeing it and pointless when you are 3 goals down.

I’ve seen him at the 3 league games but not at the Man City game, but that doesn’t mean he wasn’t there.

I would like to know how we have so many injuries compared to other clubs who have possibly a couple for two seasons in a row.

his comments last night summed it up, we have looked at Northampton twice and know what they are going to do in the first 20 minutes and we set up to counteract it, if we were a good side we would be set up for them to counteract us rather than worry about the opposition all the time, can’t remember how many times since Neil has been here we haven’t had a shot on target but it must near or into double figures, when was the last time anyone got sent off against us when it mattered, the last one was nearly 2 years ago in the last minute of injury time v Port Vale.

because it is 4 months to the next transfer window, and with our track record with injuries they will all get a game.

I was talking to Kenyon at the Man City game and he said his was only a minor injury and would be fit in 2 weeks, regarding Hallam no idea, I hope we have signed 2 Ryan Yates, or I wouldn’t complain if they are 2 Alfie Beestins.

Wood looked decent in the preseason game here, never heard of Hackney but both have had a taste of first team football and both I believe are attack minded which with Jarvis now fit is that the reason we didn’t go for a striker, so with experience at the back and quite a few mobile midfielders it is hopefully we can start winning games and get a mid table finish minimum.

The club would not allow Neil to say who had got Covid Sanfran, so we are all guessing it must be one of those two with the other in contact.

If you was at the game it looked handball but didn’t look deliberate, but his hand was out so though it was daft I think it was more player error than Kettle, he was following the silly rules, apart from the player having a moan there wasn’t a lot of protest, to make it worse for Tranmere their player wasn’t under a lot of pressure and didn’t need to have his arm out, personally I think it hit him rather than deliberately handle, but we had plenty of dodgy penalties last season go against us so it was nice to get something our way, I am sure it will soon be our turn to have one against us.

anyway how many penalties has Kettle given against us over the years, and a lot of them have been soft.

I was sat in the West Stand and it looked to hit his hand or lower arm and he did stick his arm out, whether it was intentional or not I thought it was harsh but how many soft penalties have been given against us last season, but these are the rules if your arm is in a unnatural position, the Liverpool one on Sunday the same kicked from close range and hit his knee and bounced on to his hand, maybe unnatural position but a natural reaction from James seeing he was trying to clear the ball.

Scrimshaw and Perry have to be the ones involved with the Covid, Turan is a baffler, never trusted or played since the Salford game when he gave the ball away cheaply for their injury time winner, though it was comical play from Clarke and Howard.
regarding rules the club must understand them more than supporters can fathom out.

They had more possession but it didn’t seem like it and they never looked like scoring and we could have had 5, unless we were playing in White.

Couldn’t have made many serious saves because they didn’t have a shot on target, but his handling was excellent.
